Yes, this is the 8th video in a row that I’ve watched as I do my hair for the interview later today. Don’t worry, I already prepared and rehearsed answers out loud and got my “tell me about yourself” down pat! Watching my recording of it too to let it keep simmering into my subconscious mind 🙌👍 thank you for alllll of these tips. I love your style so much!

My name is Reba. So I say Reba, like Reba McIntre, but without the money. They laughed and always say, they will always remember my name. LOL!

My name is Kelia, and in the UK people would call me Keelia, so I always say - it's like Kelly with a "a" in the end :)

What if, after the interview, you find out that you're not interested in the opportunity? I don't want to lie and say I'm interested at the end if that's no longer the case.

That's a great point! I had an interview this morning and the hiring manager was arrogant and throughout kept looking at his watch and near the end, told me we only had 5 minutes left. It was just weird and I didn't get a good vibe from him at all.

@hannakasal9707 when this has happened for me, instead of writing a thank you note, I would write a letter stating, "thank you for your time. I've chosen to forfeit my candidacy." I just wonder if there's something I can say on the spot, without seeming arrogant myself.

If you mean at the end of the interview, or even during, be honest but respectful, thank them for their time and wish them success in finding a good match. It's always possible there's a miscommunication or your apparent deal-breaker is negotiable.
"I really appreciate this opportunity to learn about the position and your company in more detail but (I'm not sure this is a good match/I'm quite what you're looking for/I'm really looking for/I really need..., etc.). Thank you very much for your time though and I wish you success in finding the right candidate.
They may correct, negotiate, or modify something and you could still be in the game or they thank you too and wish you a good day.
If after the interview at home, just email or call your contact and use essentially the same script.
