I think Ellen kept him sane by showing him so much love and keeping him laughing and dancing and happy he had a purpose and a safe place to go. Not saying his family didn't do that but sometimes it's the one's that God place in your life.

I just came back after learning that he took his own life and I am devastated and hurt and I feel so so sorry for family. To be honest, I wasn’t too familiar with him but man I literally missed out how talented this man is and for now on, I’m gonna tried to remember him and keep his legacy alive by dancing.
