They skipped level 2 [river] And level 3 [ocean] But I know two of these are level 2 according to their design. But almost no backpack in the world is level 3 since they don't implement a decompression system. But the ocean is dangerous so before backpacking we better focus on oxygen and armor.
David David David, no-one gives a flying duck about your about your opinion. Can you get that through your thick skull? How many times do i need to tell you. The 80's were a tragic time fo us weren't they? Dont think I forgot what you two did in 89'. My family wont forget nor your now Ex-wife. When your brother came to me and asked if i could give him a job i was reluctant but then i saw his big muscles and new he was right for the job. Fit, enthusiastic and great personality. Little did we know he ended up drowning all those girls in the canal. A.K.A the penny sweet killer! and what did he use as transportation for those barbiturates? Do you remember? Because we DO David...WE STILL REMEMBER. Yes! This very rucksack David. See you on Monday. God Bless. x
Thank you so much for helping me find my ABSOLUTELY Perfect waterproof carry-on/day pack. The citadel truly gave me the fizz seeing it. Thank you thank you thank you
These backpacks are not airtight and can't be submerged but they are designed so that water can't leak through the fabric or stitching. So technically not fully waterproof but a huge step up from "water resistant" backpacks.
Hey thanks for the lovely review. Can you suggest which one of these will be a good bag for carrying heavy weight for extended duration of times during hikes etc. Comfort , durability and waterproof are my top priorities.
Thank you for your comment! The backpacks shown in our video are best for everyday use, rather than hiking with heavy weight. For hiking, we recommend looking into backpacks with waist belts and supportive shoulder harnesses, such as the Roark Missing Link backpack or EXPED waterproof backpacks. There will be links to these in the video description. But to be completely honest, your best bet is to purchase a proper well-fitted hiking backpack with a rain cover. Hope this helps!
Hello, what a Great video! Really liked it! I have a question, is there a waterproof backpack that could resist long periods of time being submerged underwater?
They exist! You are going to want to search for a "Fully Submersible Dry Bag" a few brands make them. They are great for outdoor activities but aren't ideal for daily carry since they are usually activity specific (fishing, surfing, boating).
Hey! great video and good information. I'm in the market for a waterproof backpack and all of these seem like good options but have you looked at backpacks from MOW minimal organized wear). They seem interesting but there isn't much info available on them (aside form their own website). If you've hear of then or have tested them please let me know what do you think. Just trying to weigh my options :) Thanks again!

update us
Going to get the citadel r2 to replace my tortuga daypack since after some heavy rain, I found some water got into the bottom of the backpack.
I always prefer roll top kind of waterproof bag - and when it come to organization, my own organizer (bag-in-a-bag) is also the preferred way.
Great video but can you please do a update on best waterproof back pack that has a side pocket for water bottles or umbrella thank you
I think the same as you, I would like to buy this bag for university but I want a pocket for water bottle.
Is this really a waterproof rating that can be submerged underwater or just rainproof?
Good question.

Thank you for this video!! Xx
Price kya h is bag ka ?
Cool a pocket for sunglasses. I own some of those. Its not a filter i actually own some sunglasses, but I'm not even rich. Ask David.
DO NOT BUY RAINS BACKPACK, NOT FULLY WATERPROOF
I have the bucket backpack. Totally waterproof in 8 hrs of pouring rain.
Do they have space for a bulletproof plate?
thats the ortlieb, not the otterbox - commuter daypack - not a good look for you
Yes its the Ortlieb Commuter Daypack, where is "Otterbox" even mentioned?
