- Today we are taking a look at the I.K.S. Bortas, the new Star Trek inspired tier VI cruiser with some fascinating characteristics. However, the intended Klingon commander may not be the best choice for this ship's true potential.

Honestly, for the build on the ship, I opted for engine instead of the 20% rudder and it makes a massive difference. The ability to move quickly helps a lot.great video!
I did consider the engine speed because of just how sluggish the Bortas is but I am strange about the rudder shift time on my cruisers especially. I may step out of my comfort zone and try it that way soon.

Good review! It's a very strong ship. AL Cheshire is my pick too. I thought about AL Nepture but with how close you get in it I'd rather be bouncing a few more shots.
Absolutely! I haven't given Gowron a try yet, but I plan to throw him on the ship for a few games this weekend to see how I feel about his certain set of skills.

On the PC, this is a Fiji
On console it's still a Fiji, only this Fiji has much more beefy armor.

Yeah....waiting for WG to nerf it. Fiji was my favorite, now it's this ship.
I do get the sinking feeling that the Bortas is going to catch a nurf in the next couple updates. But, maybe all of the times I see it get dev struck whenever someone goes broadside will keep that at bay.

Are all anime commanders op? Every time i see best build its one of them
I would say, for the most part, just about any special event commander will be either slightly or markedly better than standard commanders. (Kinda makes sense since most players will end up paying for them with their own money.) Although, with Cheshire's unique skill 'Bounce Right Back' she is particularly strong for the thicker armored British light cruisers.
If light cruisers are your thing, I would recommend considering picking her up when the Azura Lane commanders come back around.
