  • In this episode, my brother-in-law Ian Jameson, takes us on a little tour of his electrical and lighting layout for his model train set-up. It looks like LEDs are taking over the hobby world too!

Who the hell disliked this? Very not cool and very illegal.
Great video Luke! Really interesting to see this. I always loved looking at the model train layout they have in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

Ha, ha! To each their own:) To add to your Chicago memory, the Art Institute there has an awesome collection in the basement of interior miniatures that I’m sure model railroad folks could appreciate... or fans of Wes Anderson.

Seerveld Media Tower?!? I guess Luke has his office in a huuuuuge executive office...

Ha, ha! Yeah, no... that is a fictional tower:) I get a kick out of it every time I visit. Ian has many other fictional establishments named after businesses of family and friends that I sadly did not take the time to highlight:(

Wow, awesome. Had a HO set as a 12-14 year old...nothing approaching this empire. Loved the hydraulic risers and the Seerveld Media tower. Were you able to sublet some of the office space to small-minded people?

Darn makes my garden railway set look so amateur, it is from 1966 the year of my birth, bought in Colorado at the late and great train store in Denver, caboose trains. German not Chinese crap. Can your Dad? Please whip me up a sky panel 360in his garage when he gets bored!!! Great vid, Merry Christmas to you and your family. Grew up in Motown but train set is Colorado narrow gauge, to much info bye bye.....
