@Lord Xiyal who was still weak as hell. He competed against frigging Moria a couple of years prior. His prime is now that's clear. At that age he wasn't that strong as Shanks is at the same age. Also who knows what would have happened in that fight if it continued as Kaido didn't either use Hybrid nor Advanced CoC nor drunken mode.

And by just opening your eyes and looking at his phyique you'll see he's much bulkier (his legst and upper body) than against Oden which is a 100% proof that he's way stronger. Also Sengoku mentioned it as well.

In his prime years, he must have been one of the strongest.

I think that Haki is one of the most awesome/interesting power systems in fiction. While there is a degree of luck (i.e. whether or not you are able to use conquerors haki at all), it is largely up to strength, training, and willpower. Also, it does a good job of balancing out the crazier devil fruits.

Personally a im not a biggest fun of haki because devil fruits is very cool power system but after introducing hakim devil fruits is useless, garp, shanks, roger all have only haki and they are in top 5 strongest
Haki is really boring as a concept since it just comes down on who has the strongest one. At least it balances Logia users.

The fact that a man whose power is that he's made of mochi is one of the most powerful in the series is why I love this series. Even if people have been born and died before they even got to see Roger "fight" once. And it was more like he was high-fiving his friend. A person who causes cracks in reality.

There's literally no evidence that Fujitora is stronger than Marco.
@@tenryunaito3763 Marco is a 1st commander level character, Greenbull alone was able to take out the remaining Kaido pirates and that included King and Queen. Fujitora and Greenbull are on the same level.
@@sammarange Marco was taking on King AND Queen at the same time. Ryokugyu took out King and Queen when their conditions were left ambiguous after being defeated by Zoro and Sanji, respectively.

We didn't yet saw if they have powers,they might not be that strong in power levels,devil fruits etc and in the end someone else be the stronger that will put them in hard situations! I smell shanks will also fight with luffy,but oda being oda will change the ways we think until the end! I truly afraid if the end of the series will be good or bad because oda's last things feels really rushed or poor written because he is probably tired as well accompanied with the time limit they gave him to end the story!

The admirals are far to low, soon as I saw Marco over Fujitora it was hard to agree. I can see why one would think this, but the Yonko, Mihawk, and the Admirals are the strongest group(s) of characters in the series.

The thing about One Piece" that I like so much is that the characters who are freakishly strong. Aren't that way because they're part demon,use magic or made a pact with some otherworldly being. They just trained like crazy and can level cities to the ground,topple mountains with ease and devastate a large portion of landmass with minimal effort. Oh sure we can't deny devil fruits are a key factor,but Kaido" for example wasn't a threat solely due to his df". The man caused so much destruction before he even gained the ability to become a giant flying dragon.

I love this list except I'd hv shanks below mihawk. Sure he has better feats, but does it make sense for a swordsman to be stronger than someone whos the strongest swordsman in both name and reality? unless ur suggesting someone whos stated to be a master swordsman, have a beloved sword, has only ever used a sword in clashes, and is implied to be a swordsman in an sbs, isnt actually a swordsman.

@@akileshr7262 Mihawk never beat shanks in a sword fight and same for Shanks , Mihawk only got the title because Shanks lost his hand. So if we want to rank we should either put them as equals or put Shanks higher due to his Haki since it wasn't confirmed yet that Mihawk has a Haki in the same level as Shanks.

There’s misconceptions abt shanks not losing power after losing an arm. The data book or sbs that ppl use only said he’s overwhelmingly powerful even with one hand. Therefore he still could hv disadvantages in a fight. Second, mihawk is legit CONFIRMED to be the strongest swordsman in both name and reality. That includes, EVERY swordsman alive rn. Like 0 exception. Like he is the STRONGEST. Not just the most skilled. He sits on top of all swordsman, waiting for a swordmaster to surpass shanks. And they didn’t specify that it said surpass only in swordsmanship or skill, cause otherwise zoro would’ve been developing his swordsmanship, and not unlocking like legit the pinnacle of conq haki which is acoc.

The fact that luffy is stronger than akainu on this list means that he has a fighting chance against the fleet admiral but blackbeard on the other hand could still be a challenge.

This was actually a really good list. The only things I’d change are that Ben Beckmann should be on this list. Mihawk should be higher, pretty much right next to shanks or at least definitely stronger than Big Mom. I’d argue that Whitebeard was actually stronger than Roger even though it was super close. Oden should be higher as well, even over Big Mom as well in my opinion. Everything else was pretty accurate and good though👍🏻
I agree except for wb > roger. Roger fought him equally whilst being sick. Sure wb was holding back but I can say the same thing about roger.

The top 10 strongest in OP are essentially all equals and can be in any order. Roger, Garp, Xebec, WB, Sengoku, Shiki, Kaido, Shanks, Mihawk, and Big Mom make up my current top 10. None of these characters have been stated to have lost an actual 1v1 fight against another in their prime. It would be extreme diff in any fight.
What about Rayleigh? Personally that's about my normal characters list but if it's truly the strongest I have to say Joyboy or Ryuma

Honestly I'd say Marco and kizaru have got some of favourite powers in the series. I mean kizarus a living been of light ffs making him semi immortal. He can make a sword purely out of light as well. Some of the stuff they can pull off in this show is fucking nuts. In the best possible way.

Perfect list.. though gol d roger became pirate king I dont think he ever came across the goresei or Imu. So his feat was limited to pirates and admirals. So dont forget admirals have those higher than them in power and status
The craziest thing about Marco's power is that it's a Zoan fruit that acts like a Logia fruit.
That’s because it’s a mythical Zoan type. Marco’s a phoenix, a mythical creature, so it makes sense it’d act like a Logia.
he's not a logia he receives damage.
@@hanma_inu i dont think he receives damage from normal physical attacks while in his phoenix form though, if he does then the injury heals basically immediately due to how the fruit works, so it does pretty much nothing similarly to how striking a logia type would normally do nothing as well
yea, its on the wiki. the attacks do damage, but they just pass through his body similarly to a logia type. the injury regenerates too quickly for it to do anything, so i guess i was half right.
@@freerobux49 He receives damage, it just it heals immediately thats the ability of a phoenix. even at marine ford when Marco received attacks from kizaru he admittedly say that he was damaged by the attack but it heals immediately due to the ability of infinite healing of a phoenix.
Even now I would put Luffy below Kaido. Kaido alone took on all 9 scabbards, then fought Luffy and the others, then fought Yamato while Luffy recovered, and then still fought gear 5th. One vs one from the beginning not exhausted, kaido would have beaten luffy.
I thought the same at a time but in the end I think it comes down luffys new form overtaking Kaido and the fact Kaido was always known for his stamina.

Once Dragon shows his power, we'll see how he scales to them. In terms of bounty, Luffy's dad surpasses any of the pirates, a bounty so high no one knows yet what it is. Why? Well from context clues, many have inferred that he controls the very weather with wind power so strong he was unopposed at Goa and Loguetown. Most of his endeavours are currently only rumors, but it should tell you something when Ivankov says his arrival would make a difference in the battle of the strongest.

I think that just by looking in the next 10 chapters after this video was written (1053) they would add and change a significant amount of this list. We got top tier feats for Hancock, Greenbull, Rayleigh, Vegapunk and Imu.

He only seems overpowered because there was no Armament haki at the time he was introduced.
Even if you take away Luffy's immunity to electricity and just give him he would body Enel just with Gear 2.
The fact that Enel seems so op shows how insanely powerful the Goro Goro no mi is.
Enel by himself is nothing. He only has a decent Observation Haki. And he is a master craftsman I will give him that.
But he is way too reliant on his logia abilities.

@@crobeastness That’s a good argument with Oden, but a small caveat would be that he was one man. While the gorosei are a group of 5, they think as one and aren’t of great character like Oden who was a man on Roger and WB’s ships
Ahh, yeah not much was seen of Sengoku prior to MF, but the fact he was the leader of the Marines should have given you an idea that he was strong no? It didn’t help he faced BB with his fruit that cancels DF abilities and Luffy who just absorbed his attack lol.
@@elijahnsubuga5724 with sengoku, i don't necessarily expect leaders to be able to fight. In real life pirate captains and admirals were better equip to lead other men and to strategize. For about the first 300 episodes or so, I never even expected Luffy to necessarily become the strongest person by the end of the series, just that he would be the first to get to one piece while also still being quite strong (but like top 25ish maybe, not top 1).

I knew I was in for a treat with this list but WOW I wasn't fully prepared for just how scuffed this would be.
Big Mom at 10? KAIDO AT 8?! Listen, I loooooove Shanks, but until this man is doing ANYTHING even close to the same league as Kaido there's no way I'm putting him above him. Not to mention the insult of putting both Blackbeard and Luffy above him as well. Kaido fought a swarm of Sulong Mink, all of the Scabbards, five of the Supernova, Yamato, Momonosuke in his adult dragon form, and went three one on one rounds with Luffy which he won two of AND LITERALLY KILLED LUFFY IN ONE OF THEM. Even with G5 Luffy still just barely managed to squeak out a W because Kaido chose to take his attack head on and it happened to knock him into a fucking underground magma pit that triggered a volcanic eruption that sent him to who knows where, and more than likely survived.
I'm sorry, but there isn't a single character who I think beats Kaido in a 1 on 1 fight after everything we saw from him. The man is literally just built different. He smokes anyone in the present timeline, with the exception of maybe Shanks IF he ever actually does anything. Luffy barely won with G5 with Kaido at like 1% HP, how tf is he or Blackbeard or fucking Garp supposed to beat him at full health? We don't know enough about prime Whitebeard or Roger for me to say anything about them, BUT what we've been shown isn't even in the same dimension as the shit Kaido was doing in Wano. There's not even an argument that Kaido now smokes old Whitebeard though. If we're going strickly off of what we've been shown in the series then it's not even a competition that Kaido is the strongest living creature. Mr. Land, Sea, and Air ABSOLUTELY lives up to his title.
Luffy is ahead of him. the thing about luffy is that evolved in the fight, had he started with a gear 5 from the beginning which is what Brough Kaido down, the course of the fight would have been different, the version of luffy that started is different from the one that finished the fight. plus, Kaido was not the only one fighting before their encounter, puffy fought him and big mom too, fought all them niggas before getting to him and son on
But Shanks did . He fought off both Kaido and Big Mom and made it back in time completely unscathed to stop the war
Shanks showed us the best Conqueror haki ever which made green bull scared so much that he left wano immediately and the fact that kaido didn't intervened in marine ford was because shanks came to stop him and yes they maybe didn't fought but if kaido was stronger then why didn't he just fought shanks and came to marine ford ?
