The price is extremely cheap and more than reasonable. As a person living abroad, it is more than reasonable. What is a major concern is the security and what is happening to expates coming home. That is the major concern.
Simply beautiful! I noticed a few naysayers with some rather dark outlook in regards to the average Jamaican being able to afford these homes. These homes obviously aren't meant for the typical home buyer, these homes will appeal to qualified persons in Jamaica and in our vast diaspora who are looking to come home and live in comfort and security. Jamaica's housing stock fortunately caters to almost all income levels. Nice job guys, keep up the good work..
Clever company to develop homes of higher quality and price point along with security. Crime is less likely. This model will very likely be successful and appeals to the diaspora, like myself
Where in Jamaica is this development? It’s a really beautiful affordable environment but the only downfall I see is that...you can’t just freely design ur home the design has to be a certain way, while most ppl purchase land/lot rather than scheme houses because they want to freely design their home...plz reconsider that option
This is gorgeous. I am going to post the youtube location on other threads. I want all returning residents to see this. Continue keeping it exclusive, if you know what I mean.

Are there any lots available in Moorland Estate? Is there potable water available in that are, or is it personal rain water harvesting used for domestic use?
It only said the style of homes...I live in the Carolina's & there is no two house that looks alike, & the community board have to approve your style of home so it does make sense if you want to keep the homes & community going up in value. 1/4 acre lots to 2 acre lots & no front load garages, only side load garages & your neighbor can't have any windows facing your garage to create more privacy, no fence in front of the homes only in the back (wooden only)...better living no parking on the grass, no junk cars parked outside either if it don't have registration & plates keep it in your garage. Good look for Jam rock.
When you think about it only people overseas Canada United States England can really afford to buy these hoses and pay for them quickly than the typical Jamaican like a comment i read just said where are the jobs in Jamaica pay for these houses????
U gonna see so much gated community building in Jamaica because of the violence but all I see is they target the returning residence because how a regular man that's working the right way gonna afford these land but I'm thinking about getting a land in mandeville but i guess I ofto have at least 2 million before I start looking
Guys please remember all of these land that those house build on been mined out by alpart bauxite. I come from about 1 and a half mile from there I'm not even joking... I don't know if you guys remember alpart bauxite?
@@CameliaKay9804 You are welcome. They have another development ....just about 20 min or less outside of Santa Cruz , turn off before you reach Lacovia bridge. This is very nice also ....lots were sold for about 2.5 when they just started.
2 million plus just for the land? That's rediculous, yes I agree why I acre of land selling for so much...then one have to come up with another million or more to build the house. How many Jamaicans can afford this. I thought it was affordable...quote on quote.....WOW!
it's in Jamaica dollars, you silly woman everybody thinks in US dollars only there are other currencies in the world you know...www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=2%2C500%2C000&From=JMD&To=USD
These lots are not for us jamaican so please don't try fooling us.....then on top of it U gonna tell me how to build my house also u want mansion to put on those lots.i can maybe afford it Yes bc am living abroad but what about my fellow jamaicans who still tryn to survive bc the job is not there to sustain them smh
the lots are around 20k US dollar..... thats like $180 dollars a month in a mortgage... you build a house for around 200k USD, have it apprised.. and take out a mortgage against it.. lets say it appraises for 250k when done. you take out a loan against it for 200k ( around 900 usd a month) and already have 50k usd in equity.... a professional couple can easily afford this
It’s too bad these people do not know the foreign exchange rate for Jamaican dollars before they make their negative comments on the cost for land and construction
As a Jamaican, I feel really proud to see these kind of developments. Blessings to you all!

They gave us an idea of the period which the style of the buildings they have chosen comes from but now how much they will cost?
The price of the lot is actually affordable if you live outside the US. The estate is also beautiful.
love my country, lady is so cute
The land is not expensive. What I don’t like is the only two styles housings. You can’t tell people how to build their house!

I would want to come home but I don’t want to live in a subdivision with a bunch of unfinished homes. I just don’t want any eye sores.
Beautiful....
This house only appeals to the rich and famous;but damn sure not your average person in Jamaica.Selective few.
So true
Beautiful houses but I prefer a smaller house with space to grow food. Maintaining such a large space works out expensive long term
What is wrong with selling to rich people?
I have been looking at this land for over 10 years and havent bought. I wonder if I can still afford it. Looks inviting
10 years
??
Very nice houses thats why me dont want no cheap work
How the hell a man going to buy a land for 3.8 or 4.8, and you doing to tell the person how u want them to build their house. This woman rink eee!!!

New York it’s to ensure one persons house doesn’t bring down the value of the others.
