Their preschool activity books are so sweet. I'm so excited! I really hope you love their math as much as we do! It has just been a great fit and experience for us.
I use the Bible Stories to color with my 3 and 4 year old. And my 7 year old ends up always asking to join and be part of it haha. Sometimes we pair the story with the show “Super Book” if there is an episode that matches it. I love Rod and Staff activity books for little ones. My son always feels so accomplished when he does those workbooks. Thank you for sharing as I’m moving away from masterbooks bath to possibly math u see or BJU press and will be reading life of Fred just for fun. Would love some detailed flip throughs!
Yay! How fun! I saw Megan’s videos too and wondered if it would be too much to incorporate for Summer practice. We use MathUSee also and my daughter will be done in early May at her current pace with Alpha. I had thought about just doing an Evan-Moor Summer Activity book for her to have some daily practice, but now I’m wondering if I just get CLE Math 1 (she’s going in to 2nd.) My main question is how teacher intensive are the lessons? I kind of want something she can do mostly on her own without much help. I’d love a Math 1 flip through! 💕♥️
I’m glad you discussed that you are choosing options that are not “on the same level” as the grade of your child. It’s so important to evaluate and adjust things based on your child’s needs! 🤗
My oldest started first grade in CLE math and is finishing 600s now. My youngest is in book H of the preschool series. He will start all subjects in CLE 100 very soon.
I love getting new curriculum and this is only our first year! I'll add I did not order everything upfront. But man oh man I'm about to place next year's orders and I'm SOOO excited! Interested in a flip through of the math. He is using TGTB level 3 now but with the changes they are doing and the timing I'm like....uhh not sure what to do🤔

Do you think that you will continue to use MathuSee? I really love the look of MathuSee, but I am also worried about testing. we have to test every three years and I worry about trying to run two curriculums. My kids are on the younger side so they can't do a ton of independent work yet.

We love Christian light reading and math. My girls are in the 7th and 9th grade and have been using Christian light for past 3 years

Its not very teacher intensive which is why it works well for me with four kiddos
Makes me wanna shop for next years stuff now!

Yes, absolutely. That's the plan we are currently doing two maths with my fourth and first grader.
My suggestion is to try if it is too much then pull back do one in the summer and one during the school year.
