What a helpful flip through. I use CLE language arts for my children but have only used grades 3 and up. My youngest is about to turn 4. I am excited to use CLE all the way through for him.😊

I think I will be getting the flash cards this year. Thank you for the flip through! It is so fun to see everything up close.

One thing that I found nice about the teachers guides is that the introduction to them is available to view online on the CLE website, so the schedules and pages with which primer Story goes with which lesson can still be viewed even if you don’t purchase the teacher guides. I have found this helpful even though I have the teachers Guides, as my mother-in-law and I kind of split up teaching duties so I have the intro to the teacher guide downloaded to my phone in order to always know where my son is at and what comes next.

Thank you so much. I was hoping you were going to post this before the convention tomorrow. I have been eyeing it up as my older children use CLE LA and Math level 200s.

Ok, this is completely off topic but what is your skincare routine? You have the most beautiful skin!

Did the light units indicate which flashcards to use and when or was it obvious? Did your son have any pushback when you added in Language Arts along with the Learn to Read? This was SO helpful, I'm excited to use this with my 5.5 year old. Do you feel like your son is decent at spelling? My oldest is such a great reader, terrible speller and I'm wondering if it was anything to do with our program we used for his learning to read. Thanks so much!

Also, what flashcards did you find most useful? I see letters and phrase cards plus some, not sure if I truly need them?

The units don’t indicate it, however, the word flash cards themselves have the unit and lesson number on the top of each one so you can pull them before each lesson.
No pushback, but we did take breaks between subjects.
He is on grade level for spelling, be we still struggle with remembering the double consonant endings when writing words out. Overall it has been great for boosting spelling skills! ❤️

I used the word flash cards (which includes the sight words) and the phonics flash cards the most! 😊

I saw your video with alpha-phonics from over a year ago! Are you using this CLE curriculum to help them learn to read instead? 😊

Yes, we start out gently with Alpha Phonics but switch to CLE when they are ready.❤️
