Oh my gosh these two guys and their cars are incredibly cool. I would be SO thrilled to meet Tsuchiya in person, he’s a living legend! Also I never knew that the fog lights had motorized covers, that’s so awesome! I’ve always wanted to get an AE86, hopefully someday I will! Much love from Texas!
I have 4 sets 3 used but perfectly working and 1 brandnew with a box pretty rare to find and expensive to purchase now i was lucky that i bought them back in the day.
Wow. The most amazing thing about these 2 street legends is how clean and minimal the interior and exterior touch is hiding the modified parts.i prefer this than some street race car I've seen with meters lining up on dashboard, exterior grille, flashy rims,LEDs and huge spoilers.
Love the Japanese cars of that era! As an previous owner of some of them I can feel the excitement of their engines still now! Great to see these cars still standing! Nice video, looking for more!
I appreciate this video about AE86 , Mr. Keiichi and Mr. Orido. It was very enjoyable. I have been watching Best Motoring for over 10 years and love the touge battles. Also a fan of Initial D. Thanks to Mr.Tsuchiya I have bought my first Honda and afterwards my first sporty car,a Civic Type R FN2. Arigatou.
Great video. Two beautiful cars! The 2000 km in 20 years reminds me that I must use my old AE112. With better weather and no covid, it would be better.
You can tell Orido-san really respect's The [D.K] KING!👑.. TWO very sweet looking AE86[ Hachiroku ]!..just 2 great friends talking about their awesome cars! AlsoTsuchiya-san is always ready for that🏁 race!🏁.👌👊✌
Watching this vid make me recall an old anime. Mr Orido car's like the 2nd stage of Initial D before he lose to Lan Evo team.. and DK Tsuchiya's is like the 4-5th stage of Initial D.. With an upgrade of the driver seat and the engine too! Love it! Such a memory
Love how I’m their country they show how appreciative they are towards older cars And still drive them In America it’s different, where everything brakes and the warranty is a hokes .
I like to see these two hanging out, they got a good banter and both seem like friendly people! I have been a fan of DK for many years, like most since I was a young kid.
Always funny, I was born on 8-6-'83 and never realized till a few years back because we use different date notation over here. Still love my old e30 M42B18 a bit more. ;-) Great content, thanks DK and Max!
Would be fantastic if you can add subtitles. Because I'm very interested in Tsuchiya's AE86 and my Japanese is pretty bad. Right know I'm restoring my ae86 coupe and any tips are appreciated
15 years ago i used to own a 87 1.6 toyota corolla and used to live in Puerto Rico those days where my best days of my life i wish I can own one of those cars again 🥲
I have 4 sets of those fog lights 3 used but perfectly working and 1 brandnew with a box pretty rare to find and expensive to purchase now i was lucky that i bought them back in the day
This was such an enjoyable video to watch. I grew up with them in option video in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Toyota needs to make a Drift king GR86 edition for all the sales he has brought to Toyota.
Mame is beans in Japanese. His 86 in the show best motoring touge battle manage to defeat some Touge Maou or mountain pass devil cars. In Japanese Setsubun Celebration. Beans are throw to defeat the oni or devil.
Its so funny how when we get our hands on these types of JDM legends we used to mod the hell outta them....now we geek out over how stock it is lol....im so glad my s13 is basically bone stock amd was garage kept by the first owner....im the second owner and its been garage kept by myself as well
220hp from a 7AGE is insane! Just 5 years ago 190hp was usually the limit for an engine with a 4AGE top end!
Maybe it’s on the crank. That’s how Japan used to measure before at least
@@ericohman Yeah I know it's all crank horsepower, that's how I'm measuring it too
@@philspaghet no its wheel hp
@@jjsorenavki7005 wow that's even more impressive then!
220hp wouldn't be so crazy if it was a race only engine, what's really impressive is its making a truly streetable, reliable 220hp!
Such a nice video. We can feel the admiration they both have one to the other just by the tone of their voices. And their passion for their Thunders!
Tsuchiya's AE86 is like the final boss in a racing game.
This is like watching old versions of takumi fujiwara and keisuke takahashi just chillin with their cars
Anyway you guys are the best!!
😂👍
These two guys are such good friends and their jokes are amazing !Pleasure to watch and hear them talk and laugh !

if you do , dont be surprised at the sheer amount of work that needs to be put into it for it to drive well.
I'm glad these guys are still friends and still love cars. Best motoring was life man.

$35k for such a clean ae86. Expensive for sure but honestly not bad.
I regretted selling my AE86 in 2006 for $1500!!!!! It was my first car I drove since high school. 😂
You’re laughing?! I’ll be like 😭
Thank you Car Prime, Max and Keiichi. This episode really put a smile on my face, Cheers.

Amazing video. Love it.. 2 legend talking about the 86 with so much enthusiasm..
I freaking love the sound of this ITB setup, it's just as iconic as an RB or JZ

DK lowkey rocking a Richard Mille. What a LEGEND
Fantastic video and subtitles, thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to more!
Great video, what a pleasure to watch these two legends chat about these amazing cars.
Orido's 86 belongs in a museum. What a clean car.
I can watch these two talk about cars and nothing else and I'll be fine! Two legends for sure!
Oooookay, AE86 is ready to roll.
Thank you for putting English subtitles in the video 👍

At the start of the vid I was like, “holy shit the induction noise! It must have ITBs”. Was not disappointed.
I love Hachi Roku, its like a partner or a friend. its one of my dream cars..
What an amazing video! I really enjoyed it 👍😃 Greetings from Puerto Rico 👋
Lagend car...ae86 is the best car that Japan ever made..love japan
How can anyone dislike the OG fogs? With the pop open covers to boot?! Super fucking pog
Beautiful AE86 Orido-san !!! Congratulations !!
Great video, both beautiful cars! Very passionate and inspiring to continue to keep my old WRX I had since 2005 running.
so thankfull for this video
I could listen to these 2 talk about AE86s for hours.
Brilliant. Max and DK laughing about those beans...quality. Give it the beans ;)
Man, I wish I had the ability to make my AE86 look anywhere near as good as these two.
You can tell the are good friends and full of shared passion
Legendary footage.
Thank you! Great video & english subtitles
Now I know why its called the Super Mame 86.
Super Bean Drift King 86. What a name for a car.
It's nice seeing Tsuchiya-san so excited for Orido's very clean/stock 86! The prices keep rising!

We need that battery upgrade.
Two pairs of absolute legends.
Would be fantastic if you can add subtitles. Because I'm very interested in Tsuchiya's AE86 and my Japanese is pretty bad. Right know I'm restoring my ae86 coupe and any tips are appreciated
They do add English on some video
It does have English subs.
@@Aerondogo Thanks, I wrote my comment before the releasing of the video. Glad they added subs
Here's my tip, stitch welding every seam in the unibody is worth your time. Makes a huge difference in chassis stiffness and therefore handling 👍
織戸さんの土屋さんへのリスペクトが素敵です。
また、5~6台所有しているのに86へも100%の愛情を
注いでいるところも素晴らしいです。
These two units should be preserved permanently.
There are not many classic cars that are so well loved.
brilliant vid!!

Love their build philosophy.
Every Toyota Corolla review is greatness.
May Tsuchiya san and Max Orido San stay healthy and race as always hehe
I thought my celica was fast with just 140hp but this 7A engine is a beast pushing 220hp
Great video. Nice to see these two outside of Touge.

All I can say is… CLEAN!
Truly fantastic
Wow! Great episode 🔥❤️
Amazing and lovely video for car enthusiasts!
A pleasure to watch this video. Does anyone know why Tsuchiya calls his AE86 Super Mame??
Mame is beans in Japanese. His 86 in the show best motoring touge battle manage to defeat some Touge Maou or mountain pass devil cars. In Japanese Setsubun Celebration. Beans are throw to defeat the oni or devil.
@@charlespascual7104 thank you so much, great explanation!! I love those touge battles, they are legendary! Now I understand why it’s the Super Mame
We'll definitely see Max racing DK at Gunsai soon😄
Max flexing hard af with those pop up foglights
Great informative video ! Thank you
Anyone know what upgraded fuses he was talking about and where to get them??
The utter respect they have for proper form and tradition is something the whole world should learn from japanese culture.
Very good film. Thank you
Amazing! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
10:44 Let the goat finish his story 😮💨
dori dori ae86 must be in toyota museum when keichii leave us
DK has the best looking 86 ever classic
Amazing!
Perfection coming from both.
I'm actually planning on buying a mostly stock Trueno Sprinter and having it imported to the USA. This just makes me wish my case was already over!
The sound this car makes me happy :) this is probably my favorite car of all times. I would take this over a lambo och ferrari any time..
This was a great episode. Tsuchiya San, Do you have a personal S2000 you can show us? or even Orido's Red Ridox Daily 550HP Supra?
There's a video about Orido Supra in this channel
This is hilarious
I love AE86 Trueno 3door 😍. it's my biggest dream ❤
