I agree with @@Okk681 When we see elaborately decorated themed islands on RUclips and social media, many of us don’t think our more casual islands are something to share online (or don’t have any interest in sharing anyway). People making something exceptional gets recognition and praise thus becoming aspirational to a degree where it becomes a trend among people who post online which might make it seem like everyone is doing it. :)
I tore down my island and started a normcore theme two days ago and have almost half of my island finished already. I’ve never been able to finish an island before because I’m hypercritical but I’m really enjoying not caring too much. Thanks for inspiring me hehe ✨

I think you should try the whole grungy cluttered trashcore again. You were doing awesome with it. I’m trying it right now and it’s not as grunge as I’d like so far but we’ll get there.

I find this funnier to do actually, my island doesn’t really have a theme like I just make what I want without thinking "it’s not spring core enough" or "looks more jungle island I have to restart again" I used to stress a lot about this game to do a perfect island but it’s just a game so we have to have fun create things you know

just bought a switch lite and started playing animal crossing like 3 weeks ago. your islands are so cool and mine definitely is feeling basic like this one!! I'm trying to keep my motivation to keep going because the game can be a lot of work sometimes lol and I feel like it takes some time
ur helping me love animal crossing again! so many creators on here do so much with their islands its hard to enjoy what i have when i see what they can do. but these videos remind me of why i loved animal crossing in the first place.

Lol I helped my bf kick out this villager and we forgot to look for a villager to move in before another one moved in that he didn’t like And somehow the next day he got raymond. And then he got marshal to visit his camp. I was jealous. I played longer but he got all the villagers he wanted in a month
