I've been watching Clique's MyGM videos of old 2Ks. They were corny and not that interesting at the time, but they are movies compared to this! Can't believe they bring back MyGM and it's worse than ever. It's literally just MyNBA with extra dialogues to read, which have no actual impact by the way.
The fact that the most important thing in a myGM mode, TRADES, are brushed over like nothing. No cutscene or dialogue or anything. I would’ve been happy w a picture of us with the player holding their jersey😭😭😭
That’s one thing I like in EA FC24. They do a whole cutscene when you sign a player and the reporters even talk and ask about the new player if he played good or bad after their debut.

What i noticed in MyGM mode was I traded for Chris Paul an at halftime they talked about my trade and the impact!! Said Paul will bring leadership to the team!! Thought that was dope, the downside is for the 1st time in GM mode you cannot create a player or load up a roster, you have to start with the actual team you choose
2k gotta be the laziest and most uncaring gaming company of all time. Players wanting to dive deep into their game dont get rewarded at all. Despicable stuff.

It seems like this mode would be crazy easy to design, doesn't it? No cutscenes, no stupid ass wandering around some office. It's myleague with a progression system. Cool. Make it so players get pissed when they aren't getting minutes, or if you trade their best friend on the team. Make it so coaches try to get you to acquire players that fit their system. If there's a generational potential talent in the second round, have your scout come tell you about it if their rating is high enough. Light rpg mechanics added to myleague sounds like fun to me, maybe a little busted since high charisma means you get better trade outcomes, but it's not like the base mode is hard to begin with.

Love the videos per usual. A few things I’ve noticed that I hope can be fixed is the nba cup and the fact that they took out from USA or not toggle in the vitals tab. This is a hilarious thing to take out when the fiba tournament has been added to the game. As for the nba cup if you expand or retract the nba the cup gets glitched and just becomes west vs east with a weird championship in the last two weeks of the season.
They probably haven’t coded the game to know how to change the group sizes and it just glitches out . Cause if you add two teams, 6 groups of 5 probably would get changed to two 8 groups of 4
Try adding expansion teams. I added 6 to my own save, and within a year or so, the whole nba as a whole was only averaging 60-70 points a game per team. i wanna see if anyone else has had that
I don't know if it's still existing but when league decide to change rule to 30 or above seconds shot clock, scores would be just like that in a simulated games.
26:42 To change the position Dyson D. plays you could probably do an advanced lineup and make the position he plays SG. would be a little tedious but you could do it that way. Just save line up and adjust when injuries or roster changes happen.
