We managed to adjust ours tonight only with help of this video! It was such a life saver! Thank you for showing all the details! I didn’t even know (and it wasn’t even shown in the manual) how to adjust the doors! Thanks a million 🙏🏻
Thanks for this. It literally tells on the instructions not to use an electric screwdriver to put the first set of screws in but trying to do it with a manual screwdriver is impossible! So definitely in search of an electric screwdriver!

I came to YT to see if there were any tips for joining a single and double Besta unit together, low and behold, the exact video, I even have the ( expensive! ) Kallviken doors too, but did go for an oak finish. Great video. Subbed.
We have had this bench ruclips.net/user/postUgkxNuLbiXpLQ-mKH5NlyjrNe88hiCk2N3Cg for five years now and it is still holding up strong with minimal signs of wear! So much so that I decided to get another one to store other stuff. The first one is still beautiful, strong and is easy to clean. It’s been in our living room and we store toys and blankets in it and it really holds quite a bit of stuff. I purchased a similar one two years ago from Aldi and let me tell you that one fell apart in less than six months of use. Get this one if you’re looking. Seriously worth it. Five years already and I can’t believe it looks this good and has held up for the price! Awesome bench, the new one I just got is identical.
great video. loved the details. watched it until the end instead of skipping to it bc i wanted some details about the shelves as dividers. pity you didn't demonstrate but i got it anyway. thanks.
Regarding divider demonstration you can see it here in 17:16 ruclips.net/video/_6oPSk0vQ1U/видео.html it is different unit but same BESTA divider. Shelve demonstrated in 20:01 ruclips.net/video/_6oPSk0vQ1U/видео.html Thank you for watching
@@PPFlatPack perfect, exactly what i was looking for. thank you so much for the reply. i note that you also have worked on some of the other products i got from ikea so i'm very happy to have found your channel and your thorough explanations. i'm going to need some help with the kivik i'm sure. subscribed!
Looking to buy 2 double besta and join them together. How do you call those brackets? And how do you call those furniture feet that are meant to be in the center of the furniture and not in the corners?
Do you have a part number for the joining bracket with the leg post? Im searching everything I can think of and can't find them... Definitely need those to finish my assembly.
Big thanks for the video, almost done. Only one gap, I need to raise up only top right side but if I do that, then lower left corner is not perfect aligned with the left side panel :(
Thank you for such a good video. Quick question. If I want to put a unit on top of another one, how would you suggest I connect them together to make sure they stay lined up?
Yes definitely connect them they are easy to slide if on top of each other if you don't want to drill holes Ikea have double side stickers that can put them in a few places and that should do the job without drilling holes in the frame.
Hi love the video I have a question tho I've just bought 2 of these with 2 extra taller units either side for an entertainment centre im using the small feet on carpet, but how do I fix them all together as one sturdy unit as the feet bracket you used doesn't come in the packs I've got please help. Also the first tall unit seems to wabble have I done something incorrectly. 😅
Ive mistakenly mounted my units together slightly crooked! Would it be wise to unscrew them and rescrew them together? Or could that effect their structural integrity?
I don't understand what you mean by using the shelf as a divider. The Besta unit came with the brackets but the shelves came with the supports. I'm not sure which I should use?
If you have doors like in this video (covering all front) do what I did in here. If your door are shorter and part of the front is open use the brackets from the plastic bag. d For divider =front of the shelve will align with the front. Shelve=use the small plugs and shelve would be push back align with the back and there will be gap at the front.
Hello.. I am struggling with the black plastic connectors to secure the screw (3:11 minutes), it does not want to go in. can anyone help please? I am so helpless, been trying with no success :(
That could be different for tipe if screws or locks let’s say plastic lock you need to go easier or you will break them. If the screws already spinning loose one or 2 numbers down….. to many options …..
From bitter experience, I now only tighten the plastic locking lugs with a manual screwdriver and generally keep away from using power tools anywhere near IKEA products.
You can use them with original legs they smaller than tis one in the video. If you don't put any legs I thing the doors going to scratch against floor.
What's the point of the IKEA 'push out' mechanism that comes with the soft-close hinges? It helps the door to open. I understand that. But this mechanism prevents the door from closing completely if you have soft closing hinges like in your video. Now, those doors won't close unless I push them closed which defeats the purpose of the soft-close hinge. Totally useless.
Push out is there just for clean design without door handles (thats what i think) and you can close the doors completly just adjust the push out twisting left or right
Thank you for being so thorough especially showing how to adjust the door height and the door closing mechanism adjustment. Thank you!
Thank you for watching

Try to adjust the adjustable legs sometime that fix the problem even before you do any adjustments to the doors. Often the floor is not on level.
Ty!!! Brilliant following you instead of destructions lol.
Sir, youre amazing
Thank you. Best tutorial.
This video is gold, thanks for help 😄😄😄

Is there recommended torque setting for assembly screwdriver?

Hi what is the name of this beats unit? What is the name of the connectors? I can’t find them anywhere
Do they have to be fixed to the wall?
Are these the dark concrete doors?
Thank you
Can this Ikea besta storage combo be mounted?
Yes
What color is this, grey or black?
From bitter experience, I now only tighten the plastic locking lugs with a manual screwdriver and generally keep away from using power tools anywhere near IKEA products.
Can you use it without the legs ? Does it sit even on the floor if legs are not installed?

@@PPFlatPack I didnt put the floor legs only the small runs grey one, and the doors do not touch the floor. Great video, it made my life easier.
