- Sometimes you just need to place 7 different techniques on one head all in the same visit🤷🏻♀️. I know I breezed through all 7 in this video, but luckily, I have detailed breakdowns of each technique scattered throughout my IGTV @EmChenHair. Below, I’ve listed the name of each video next to each step/technique to make them easier to find 👇
1️⃣ Moneypiece Foil Placement (𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙄𝙂𝙏𝙑 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤: “𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙞𝙡 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩”) with Goldwell Oxycur Platin & 3% lotion
2️⃣ Teasylights in the moneypiece triangle (𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙄𝙂𝙏𝙑 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤: “𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙞𝙡 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩”) with Goldwell Silklift Strong & 3% lotion
3️⃣ Babylights in “Skip Weaves” - in this case, I did clusters of 2 tiny weaves spaced about 1/4” apart, then skipped about 3/4” between each cluster. (𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙄𝙂𝙏𝙑 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤 “𝟱-𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠)
4️⃣ Freehand Balayage with Oxycur + 6% lotion & Brazilian Bond Builder (𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙮 𝙄𝙂𝙏𝙑 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤 “𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙜𝙚”)
5️⃣ Reverse Balayage (𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙄𝙂𝙏𝙑 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤: “𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙜𝙚”) with Redken SEQ 2/3 6NB, 1/3 6NA
6️⃣ Tone with SEQ 9VG, 9NB, 9GI & 9V equal parts
7️⃣ Rootsmudge (𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙄𝙂𝙏𝙑 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤: “𝙁𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙨𝙢𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚”) with SEQ equal parts of 6NB & 6NA
