Any ships especially BL ships should be taken with a grain of salt until they (actual couple) confirm it officially. Even if they confirm there are still skeptics - evidence Mew & Tul. I love Together the series which was one of my first BL series I watched. I never shipped them as a real couple tho. Manner of Death was amazing, a more mature series for Max & Tul. Max is so strong, R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Life is too short, enjoy every moment Max. In Thailand, the legal age for consenting is 15. Legal adulthood, on the other hand, is acknowledged from the age of 20 onward. While the minimum age for marriage consent is 17. For those like myself who do not live in Thailand, try not to see it from our perspectives.
Its got to the point with fan service, because of psychotic expectations from fans ships are saying their real so much in fan service its impossible to tell where fan service ends and reality starts. Mew and Tul did it the right way, and there are other well known real couples like Both and NewYear but when ships like ZeeNu 'confirm' their relationship is real during fan events and interviews that are within the context of the shipped series, I dont believe them at all. When I heard MewTul 'confirmed' their relationship I thought here we go again but I watched the interview and it was an intentional, nothing to do with work, we are here to come out and talk about our story. I dont believe anything short of that.

He has had a tough time. Good on him for being proud of his relationship and not hiding it. I think that it's people who go overboard with their series partners and don't just lay it on the line that cause a lot of the problems. It's money that is at the root, you can earn alot from these fake relationships. I hope he finds his peace and happiness.

But I also blame the industry as well, particularly the Thai industry. They encourage these “ships” with these elaborate fan service shows because they make a lot of money, at the expense of the actors’ personal lives. Max and Tul are great friends and I love them, but you can’t blame fans for some things MaxTul did. MaxTul stirred up their fans and I have recorded video where they both implied and called each other boyfriends. Even if they were playing around , some of those instances were definitely semi serious moments. I love Max and I have followed him since the beginning. I hope he sues those people and gets his money back.

There was no making out off screen for fan service either. Thai BL actors never do that for fanservice, not once in all of BL series history. Only Taiwanese BL actors do. Please know the differences between the 2 countries.

When I first started watching BLs and learned about the fan service, I was like….wow! This is weird…and cringey. Now I also feel that it’s extremely toxic and needs to stop. But unfortunately it won’t, particularly in Thailand because it makes a ton of money. The industry doesn’t seem to care about the actors’ wellbeing, just as long as they’re making money. Sad. 😢
I had no idea he went through all that. He made a great decision not to take those depression drugs. They are deadly and make a person more depressed. I'm so sorry to hear about Max's situations and I hope his future will be brighter. I am confused. I remember watching a lot of media clips with max and tul having a lot of fun but your dissertation states that these 2 were only bl brothers but I remember a clip from them wherein they announced a marriage between them that they'd married in Japan sometime ago so yes his relationship with Mook was surprising. I personally don't care happiness and love are priority in this god forsaken world where ever you can get it but it stresses me out to think I've been made a fool of again with all this bl drama. Fans really need to stop shipping "actors" together! This causes a lot of issues with actors. People need to learn the difference between acting and reality. Max is one of my favorite Thai actors and I've watched everything he's starred in and I've never shipped him with anyone, because he's just acting. Not to mention that he's drop dead gorgeous. Max is too good for Tul😢Tul just used him to get famous and when MaxTul doesn't become as famous as other BL ships Tul is now using Mew suppasit to get fame. Isn't he got retired last year so now why he is using Mew to be in limelight 😏tul said he wanted to keep his personal life private and then he started a youtube channel to share his personal life😅so contradictory 😅. Actually Tul is a golden spoon with zero talent and acting skills so he join this industry just to get fame but MaxTul ship is not giving him much fame as they are not as popular as other BL ships so he now switch his partner to Mew and left Max alone.

You are not a fan if you think you've been cheated because an onscreen couple is only an onscreen couple. Fan service is a normal part of the BL industry in Thailand to promote the show, it wasnt something they decided to pretend to deceive people. Stop doing fan service. It actually is deceptive and some fans will get the wrong idea. I just don't blame most fans for this stuff, I blame the companies who push the fan service. Just stop doing it. We don't do that stuff here in the US, and we also don't get mad at our actors (gay or straight) over their personal relationships. I hope one day Thailand catches up to the rest of the world on that stuff. They seem to cause themselves far more trouble than is necessary because of fan service.
Nope, fan is 1000% in the wrong. They are delusional and blames others for their ignorance. They should get a mental health check. You don't blame a microwave for heating up your food, cause that is their job.

There is a cultural practice of 'safe zone' person here. It mean you are more than friends, more than brothers/sisters, more than family, more than lover, but not in a romantic relationship. It's normal for same gender to be touchy and show affectionate behavior toward the same gender, their 'safe zone' person, here in Thailand, without having to be labeled as a homosexual like in the US. Most of the fan services you see, I also see them in my classes, with my Y9-Y12 students, toward the same gender over the 10+ years I've been here. Here they call it 'being caring', 'being family' and 'Ob Oun' behavior (warming). Not deception. Otherwise that would mean that my 100++ students are all BL-GL actors/actresses 😂
You don't do that stuffs in the US because your country is not as open-minded as you think. You may 'have' things like your gender/religion equality and freedom, but the discrimination law doesn't stop religions leader from degrading members of LGBTQ socialy or publicly, in Thailand, you can be landed in jail for 6 months for degrading others publicly. You can say what you hate but you can't go pointing at someone and degrade them and call it freedom of speech. Here they understand that words leave deeper scar than physical wounds. 1 law apply to all, Christians-Muslim-Hindu-Buddhist etc. Doesn't matter what religion you up hold, if the law said you can't discriminate against other based of their sexual preferences, then you can't.
A gay/transgender person can enter a Muslim mosque/church to pray, no problem as wrong as you follow the dress code. If someone stop him based on his sexual preferences or identity, even if they are Imam or priest, they can be charge with discrimination. Repeat, minimum 6 months jail time, no bail.
I think I this aspect, Thailand doesn't need to catch up to the world, it's other developed countries that need to catch up to Thailand.
Having freedom doesn't mean you have the right to use it to hurt other people.
There is noting deceptive about Thailand's BL actors' show of affection toward their work partners. It is entirely the faults of the toxic fans who blames everyone else but themselves. I can tell that you obviously have no idea of how Thai culture works. Their "fan service" behaviors are normal for Thai people.
It is the mind-set and norm/practice of being with a "safe zone person". A "safe zone person" is someone who is more than best friend, more than siblings, more than lover, but not in a romantic relationship with you. Thailand maybe a little conservative country, but they level of acceptance and openness is something that the US can't compete or catches up to. If 2 boys or girls were to be seen hugging each other/ sleeping on each other's laps / spoon feeding each other, or all the acts you see BL actors do as "fan-service", they wouldn't be labels as "gay", people would call the action 'nar rak' instead.
And FYI, fan service from Thai's BL actors have never gone pass the 'joob' (smooch/peck-kiss) on the forehead or cheeks, never on the mouth). Not like the Taiwanese who literally made out on stage for fan-meets. I hope you know that the 2 names are of 2 different countries. Plus, what Thai BL actors always do is that they stated clearly the status of their relationship with their partner when asked. Not one has a couple say that they were in a romantic relationship. It's fans who made up things and blame the actors for being true to their words. Like a crazy person blaming a microwave for making their food hot.
Thailand doesn't need to catch up with the world, but the US need to catch up with Thailand. The US may have unlimited freedom of speech but it doesn't have a protective measure against people who discriminated, devalue others publicly/socially which often results in the victim being psychologically hurt or harm. In Thailand, you go to jail for that. If you want to hate something/someone, you are free to do it or announce it, as long as your action doesn't harm the intended individual.
Plus, the law in the US doesn't apply to all cities and religion equally. On the other hand, in Thailand. If an Imam/priest refuse a gay man or transgender from entering to pray at a mosque/church, then that Imam or priest would be charged with discrimination act and face 3-6 months in jail + fine, the victim can also request for 'no bail allow' for the homophobic perpetrator. The law doesn't care what religion you follow, if your religion doesn't understand what equality is, then it just have to face the consequences of the law.
