The art style is great and I like the overall chill ambience of the animation. I really love the way he approached the idea of a minecraft recap. I was expecting a parody of Steve defeating the ender dragon just like the hundreds of other animations out there but nope, this animation actually presents all the things minecraft has to offer outside of the classic speedruns.
I expected this to be as graphic as the other recaps, but it's so charming and relaxing. I've never really been big into Minecraft but this made me feel nostalgic in a way

Not even halfway through, this video made me take a step back and admire the precious memories I have made with this game, at the same time resenting the fact that this bright spark of magic that was present within me alongside the first quarter of my Minecraft adventures just can't light up anymore... The game is so superficial to me at the present moment, whereas back when I was young it was much more than just a game, it was THE game. It went much deeper than just below the surface... But times were simpler back then, Minecraft wasn't sold out, microtransactions were unthinkable of, it was all pure bliss. I still remember the first server I played on, I would do anything to play on the same exact map again.

What I like about this recap is that it's not just "Steve does things to get to the end of the game with crude humour in between" but more of just steve chilling with the new friends he found and more slice-of-life scenes.
Honestly this animation just made me nostalgic as hell man, it's all these references and the way every character was represented was so true. And other than all that you have seriously went up in animation skills man this is amazing love your videos they always make me happy and I love them ❤❤

This feels so nostalgic, the diggy hole dwarfs, the temple of notch, the let's player with the bad mic, I remember it all and I hate that it feels like so long ago

@@CPS747-8 It's for whenever you get on a boat and slide on the ice. The buttons make sure that mobs cannot spawn on it. It works better in a tunnel and not open space

Not even halfway through, this video made me take a step back and admire the precious memories I have made with this game, at the same time resenting the fact that this bright spark of magic that was present within me alongside the first quarter of my Minecraft adventures just can't light up anymore...
The game is so superficial to me at the present moment, whereas back when I was young it was much more than just a game, it was THE game.
It went much deeper than just below the surface...
But times were simpler back then, Minecraft wasn't sold out, microtransactions were unthinkable of, it was all pure bliss. I still remember the first server I played on, I would do anything to play on the same exact map again.
