My favorite thing about this channel is that no matter how crude the character designs are or become throughout the cartoon, they are still distinct enough to recognize the character they are meant to portray. Your pacing is perfect, your style is unique, and your consistency while staying innovative is inspirational.
And it's hard for me to make it out because I have to keep a low volume where I'm at right now, but I'm pretty sure the singer for the song in the background says, "I am gay," a couple times. 😂 If your videos were food, you'd have three Michelin stars, in my opinion.

Unironically: the scene where we see Manny looking at the cave drawings and getting PTSD is still heart wrenching. Its so much more than him losing his family, but just reliving the extinction of his entire race (As he thought at the time). Also him forgiving the humans in the end and returning their cub.
Yeah... that movie had a lot more heart than what some folks give it credit for.
It's good that in the second he discovers that he is not the last one.
Considering I'm talking about a full fledge produced movie, I'm gonna have to say no. I don't think y'alls animations are better.

I still remember that moment in the first movie were the baby and Manny got real close after seeing the artwork from the cave, ahhh that moment brought a tear in my eye.
I actually didn’t understand that scene as a kid, until I lost my friend in a car accident, this scene alone was one of the sole reasons Ice Age was my favorite movie as a kid

So Ice Age (the first one) is one of my favorite childhood films. It throws Most Disney, DreamWorks, and others out of the water.
Ice age as a whole was not always that great, but you know what was amazing? How it ended with a short where scrat eats his acorn and leaves. It felt so meaningful in such small little window of time, i actually rewatch the entire ice age saga after it.

And I genuinely love the first two movies as well, the first one is peak to me, and the second is a pretty great sequel too

the first one is a masterpiece. the rest contradict it and get more and more disnified as time goes on.
The ending reminds me of the original version of Ice Age, where after defeating the Sodo, Diego was supposed to die from his injuries after earning his redemption.
But when it was shown to the test audience, the kids hated it.
So the whole thing had to be redone, which took months to do and set the release date back then originally intended.
Other things lost were Sid's girlfriend and his son.
Sid was a cheating deadbeat father that constantly ditched his gf and son for the sloth hoochies.
Scenes with the sabers bickering and infighting were also cut.
Aside from plot relevant stuff there was also
Some more scenes with the humans
Some deleted prehistoric animals in the herd were terror birds, big ass salamanders, mastodons that were smaller than Manny, cave bears, andrewsarchus (a prehistoric hooved carnivore), warthogs, and monkeys.

Where can I see these deleted scratches? I mean, they had been scripted once and it's hard for me to imagine that they deleted these completely
I'm glad they changed Sid's character, if they went with him bring a deadbeat dad who also cheated on his partner it would've made him an incredibly unlikeable jackass that would be hard to like

@@isabellebitmyrs4947 I distinctly remember seeing animated scenes of Sid's stalker gf on the DVD extras. Those deleted scenes didn't even mention a son, tho, so maybe that was in an early concept for the movie.

The ending was perfect. It's like cas said yeah were not recapping all 5 sequels after the first ice age what are you crazy. And disney shutting down blue sky studio making scrat homeless was a nice touch at the end. But at least in the final short, scrat finally got his happy ending and just ate the acorn.

Man I'm so glad your cartoons make it so far. God just calling it a cartoon feels understatement. Cartoons nowadays seem to be about farting out as many episodes they can. But man I could watch these over and over again, they seem to be made with care and fun.
