  • These are three selected original themes from the ride at Kings Island, Phantom Theater. This ride is gone now but was in operation from 1992-2002.
I mixed the available themes I could find together into one long version. The three tracks each build complexity and fit with the last as it plays into the next, for the most part.

-fat lady sings with viking hat sings- -mirror breaks-
    -guy peeks out of cannon-
    I LOVED THIS RIDE!
2:03 is the opera room! That was my favorite part! It's still there. Just behind the walls. You can look while on the scoobie doo ride. There are blackened windows where the room used to be.
Please, Please, King's Island. Bring it back!

I remember riding this when I was only three years old. It scared me so much, I couldn't keep my eyes open, especially towards the viking part. At the time, I was happy when they put in the Scooby Doo ride, but I do now miss The Phantom of the Opera.

I often compare Phantom Theater to the Disney Haunted Mansion. They're actually comparable....... Cedar Fair made a HUGE mistake taking it out. It was what could be considered a classic/iconic attraction for the park.

Don't blame Cedar Fair. Blame Paramount

Paramount is the one who removed it, it's cedar fairs decision to bring It back

It was paramount that removed it and put in that stupid scooby doo ride. Tragic

Great that all the songs are on one. This soundtrack and characters in general were AMAZING! Truly missed. I really hope we see Phantom Theater return. I hope that Cedar Fair will allow for Phantom Theater to permanently be put back into its well deserved home... It was the BEST ride..

Hell yeah! This tune is always in my head man. I try to tell my kids, who never got the pleasure of Phantom Theatre how awesome it was. I wish they'd bring it back.

Why do that when there is a small video from '94 on the internet somewhere that does show it as best a camera could a POV of the whole ride

    • @HonduDan
      @HonduDan 2 года назад +1

@@drliam0668 it's not the same, feeling the jerks of the car, the heat from the "furnace" scene, all the sounds and sights just can't be reproduced on video. It's a tool to show them, but they'll never experience it.

@@HonduDan Actually, yeah. I can see that part, this song though got me into deep research even making animatronic designs to see if I can make the Maestro, hopefully...

@@drliam0668 Yeeeeeeeeeah, do it! The Maestro was a great, spooky character. I hope you were able to actually ride it when it was open. It was an experience, very cool ride.

@@HonduDan unfortunately no, too young, I only saw boo blaster. I always feel really disappointed though when I see rides or things that amazing me but aren't there, like for example I always wanted to Ride King Cobra, but that went the same time as Phantom theater and I wanted to ride Mantis, but thats Rougarou now, annoyingly I got tall enough to ride Mantis the year it became Rougarou, so I do my best to study everything in detail, going as far as finding the way R&R built the Maestro, I only have reference photos, and I'm considering if I can't summon the Maestro after his unfortunate Exorcism. Then I may try to make a model in Unity or something and put him into VR and use that Model as a good reference until I gain the funds and better knowledge to do so, I only know how to engineer but Programming is a bit out of my league (and plus I have a Mini Billy Bob from the Rockafire to fix too) but in the End I always try, Im just too ambitious for my current age so I usually just make a years long list and archive until I can do so, and I don't forget anything easily, why I research history too

Yes I remember that. I loved this ride so much as a kid. I will always have fond memories of it. I remember going back to Kings Island with my son ten years ago and being super disappointed to find out the ride had changed to a Scooby-Doo shooting ride. He never got to enjoy the Theater for himself. In a way I actually think it is was way more scarier than Disney's Haunted Mansion.
