For the life of me I can’t understand why there isn’t a single company that has come out with a truly universal dust port adapter system. How hard would it be to have attachments that range from 1.25” to 4” in increments of 0.25”. Or maybe universal size ports on tools to begin with.
@@mikeking7470 Hmmm... it is odd. I also usually limit my review filters to "Verified" amazon customers.... essentially, people who purchased specifically from amazon. I've found that it is not uncommon (I am NOT stating that it happened with this product specifically) for there to be comments from random people who either supposedly purchased elsewhere or whatever else... And there is no way to be sure that they aren't paid to bolster positive or negative comments on Amazon... I don't even know why they allow non-purchasers to comment... It becomes a paradise for marketing companies (often overseas).
It's relatively cheap! thanks for the review
.
You are very welcome!
This is a must have tool!
This thing is great and a cost effective option

I understand what you mean. This is ridiculous and a pain. But this works well in my situation.
Does the basic set fit the Festool domino?
Yes it does.
Any problems with static electricity buildup?
@@FerroSapien none at all.
Would you recommend using a respirator?
You should always use a respirator if you can.
lol
Amazon reviews did not seem to like this product.... I'll have to defer to them.
That’s your decision
Strange, I read the reviews, average was 4 1/2 stars. One guy gave it three stars because it was cheap but did the job.
Does it attach to the rigid shop vac and the dust separators ?

Is the 10' hose long enough for ripping 4x8 plywood with a circular saw? Or do you recommend the 16'?
I would go with the 16 just so your shopvac isn’t in the way.
I went with the 10' with 5 adapters in my tiny shop but I do have an extension hose available.
Will I need an adapter for these?
The hose comes with a basic adapter set.
what's the difference between different lengths? Just the length?
Just the lengths.
there is also a weight difference between the two hoses
Would have been more helpful if you mentioned the diameters of the adapters
Power tool adapters for 0.75", 1", 1.25" and 1.5" tools as well as a 2.5" shop vacuum adapter.
@@PruettWoodworking yes i read that on the website but seeing it is different otherwise why make a video right?
@@farmermike9262 I made the video to show and option to the expensive Festool hose. That’s all.
Yes I read that? Why are some people such bellends.
