Using tape myself to secure the hose to various sanders ect, just had an Axminster dust extractor delivered so in the throws of upgrading the workshop , this is certainly an option, great video and excellent information. Thanks
In all honesty, I don’t do anything. It’s not a big system so it’s easy to blow dust off now and then. I’ve never had a shock from my setup. I can’t remember who did it but one of the bigger UK based woodworking RUclipsrs I think, did a video diving into how necessary anti static measures are in a small workshop. Their finding was that it isn’t really needed and many of the go to solutions aren’t actually very affective. So being a bit lazy, I decided that was excuse enough not to do it.
The anti-static version is some kind of witchcraft and I'm really happy with it. I've written on the coloured relief rings which tools each adapter fits.
Yeah if your Hoover doesn’t have its hose stuck in place then you should just be able to unscrew the old hose and replace with the new one. I think you can order this kit without the hose ready to use on whatever vacuum hose you have. That said, the smooth bore of the hose in this video makes a difference. Some vacuums have their attachments stuck on in which case you have to cut off and then screw the CenTec connector on.
Thank you thats great info. As a CenTec owner/user do you know if there is a way to connect the hose to the Henry Vacuum Cleaner? Thanks in advance 🙂👍 brilliant content
I believe you should be able to unscrew the regular hose from the connector to the r15 and screw the cen Tec in. Not tried though. It may be glued in though.
The Henry’s own attachment should thread onto the hose. I don’t know about the other brands but if they use standard hoses then you should be able to thread the vacuums own connector on.
This kit is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I've yet to find a tool that something in this kit won't fit. Brillliant!
Good to hear. That’s been my experience so far too!
Excellent video. Really useful info. Definitely going to look at buying a set. Keep up the good work.
Thanks very much. I’ve slowed down a lot recently but back to it in the new year!

Been using it a while now and still very happy. Glad you found it helpful!
Should mention I've ordered a set from Amazon, they arrived tomorrow. Again thanks for the info 👍
Thank you so much on your opinion and info on the centex
Glad it was useful to you. A good purchase for sure!
Big thank you. Ive made do with tape and what ever I can find to keep the hoses on. Well done Cen Tec off to their site now.😀😀. Ive subscribed.👍👍👍👍
Ah great news. It’s been so good so far!
How do you combat static and shock?

Great idea! I didn’t know there was an anti static version!
How come u didnt show the type of fitting on the hoover side of the hose. Do these screw straight on to henry hoovers

Bet they wouldn’t fit the tiny, 20mm o/s dia’ port on my Mikita, 1/4-sheet sander..?
There is one pretty narrow one which might fit the outside of the port?
thanks for the review, im off to amazon to order one
You won’t regret it!

If you can unscrew the hose from Henry’s nose connector then the centec hose should screw right in.
Use this on my Evolution R15.
Yep very useful set for sure!
Good review budd, I'm looking to buy this kit myself, do U by any chance know if the other end of the hose will fit the evolution r15 vac,, cheers 👍

That's sound, cheers budd 👍
What fitting does it have on the vac as I have Hilti , Henry and nilfisk options

@@CaptainofmyShed thank you, looks promising 👍
