That scene was completely spontaneous, so that is very likely how Jordan actually _would_ act in real life, and it is honestly not that super-unusual - he acts like a typically reserved and rather introverted guy, and those kinds of people are by nature rather quiet and low-key.

So much of that ‘isolation’ keeps ones view on other people, under-minding them because they think they have superior knowledge, so when Conan does/says something unexpected , i dont really believe he’s breaking character, but more breaking out his over all stable shell in which he tends to always reside, because Conan is genuinely hilarious, and with most of the remotes being improvised 85% of the time
