+Rhona G Thank you so much for your comment, Rhona! Yes, social media is a weakness for a lot of people....it is so entertaining haha. Glad you liked the tips! We appreciate you always watching our videos :)
He is always funny! hehe... Anyways great tip for the NCLEX BOOK! I Never thought that you can use that while you are at school, thats prolly what I have seen on some students, when they have a upcoming exam, they use that section to help them..
+chelzhi I agree lol! Yes, my NCLEX book was my best friend throughout the nursing school program and I noticed when I started using it my exam grades were better and plus I would practice the questions that came on the CD for that section before an exam. The Saunders Comprehensive NCLEX review guide is the best in my opinion. -Sarah
I am nervous. I am 22 and I plan on joining nursing school soon; however I work full time. I have my prerequisites nearly done, but now I am questioning myself if I can handle nursing school. I was living with my parents while attending school; but now I am independent. So my question is, is it possible to complete nursing school and dedicating my breaks at work and my other free time off work to finish school.(I work 6am to 2:30pm) I need guideness.
+Kevin Hill Thanks for your question. Absolutely, you can do it. I worked and lived on my own (with my husband who was also a full-time student) during nursing school. You have to really managed your time carefully and make sure you are giving enough time to studying. I would work a lot during the breaks and on weekends when I didn't have a lot of test coming-up (I could self-schedule). I also managed my money very carefully and cut out non-essentials. Have you considered may be getting a roommate and splitting expenses? That really helped with me since I was married. Do you work 6 am to 230 pm all through the week? Many nursing school (that are on a traditional schedule) require you to attend class Monday-Friday and you have the weekends off. So you may have to tweak your work schedule. However, there are some nursing programs out there that are night and weekend programs. But overall, yes it can be done but you need to develop a study plan that works for you (calculate you expenses) and see how much you are going to have to work to make it on your own. I hope that helps and best wishes. -Sarah
+RegisteredNurseRN Yes, my sister is allowing me to move in with her. When fall school starts, as a roommate though. Work is only open through that time; however they will be opening a 2nd shift soon, maybe I should go on 2nd shift when school starts. Also when test come up I can use my vacation days. (Many options) Thank you for your helping me on the insight to the path god is setting for me. God bless you :).
+Kevin Hill It sounds like you are working things out. I know God will open doors for you so you can accomplish His will for your life. God bless :) -Sarah
It's really hard to eliminate destructions specially during this time of pandemic where everyone is at online class and most of the time holding their phone.😐 Heeeeeellllppppppp T.T
