What I love about these 5 different series, is that they have specific colors that they show. For example when they switch between characters the lighting alone can help you figure who you're watching. Danny is pretty much always wearing some green brownish clothes, Luke has yellow, Matt uses red , and Jessica has blue. When they meet up for the first time, they meet up in a very white room sort of combining all colors. When they sit down and talk for the first time they talk in a Chinese restaurant that uses all of their colors on the neon sign. Idk, I thought it was genius.
Iron Fist had it's good moments. They didn't shy away from wealth inequality as a social issue. In fact a lot of it is boardroom talk in order to drive home various points about the problem with wealth inequality in modern society. The problem with Iron Fist is that the main character's motivations are never really clear. We don't fully understand why he left his post at K'un Lun. So Colleen Wing was a much more compelling character than Danny throughout the show. The Defenders version of Danny Rand is better, because now he has a clear motivation. He feels guilty for abandoning K'un Lun when they needed him most, and now he's obsessed with vanquishing the Hand in order to ease his guilty conscience. Now his motivations make sense, so now I feel that I can emotionally connect with him. Lots of great plot developments in Defenders. Danny met Luke, setting up the Heroes for Hire story line in Luke Cage season 2. Misty took an important step towards becoming the superhero we know and love from the comics (too bad she won't get to train with the X-Men). Misty and Colleen met and had a real bonding moment.
The final fight was underwhelming for me. I was expecting there to be a whole lot of ninjas and more collateral damage at least. Season 2 Daredevil we've seen that many ninjas and how deadly they were, Elektra died, and this was done by Nobu which apparently was under the command of one of the 5 (fingers) of the hand. And now (each finger of) the hand joined forces, Stick said the last time that happened, there was a culling. From what I've seen the hand were the ones getting culled, within a span of three days no less. Where's the deadly aspects of the hand?
Missed opportunity! The finale battle should have been against the 3 remaining Fingers of The Hand WITH literal ninjas! I'm talking straight up black with the red little tie thing and swords smh.
They had already announced S3, Plus from what I understand they're going to adapt the "Born Again" Storyline into that Season. It'll be interesting, because (Possible spoiler, Depending on how they handle the main baddie of a Born Again season) Kingpin would be the main antagonist then. The reason why I draw a connection to Born Again is due to the reference of a character named Sister Maggie, who plays a role in the Born Again story.
Spoilers in response to something Jeremy said After iron fist opened the door Madame Gao said removing the elixir would destroy the city, but Electra will see many more cities, while Danny was hiding. So the city would have still been destroyed if it weren't for the defenders even though iron fist already opened the door
Samuel Robertson true, but the problem was they destroying the city was a 'BY PRODUCT' of what they want. The Hand didn't want to cause the earthquake, it just that by harvesting the dragon bone will cause the city to collapse, which they didn't care and willing to let it happen. It lessen the villain motivation a lot when the evil they've done was just a side effect of what they actually want to do.
I loved the first 6 episodes. I felt the tension, I loved the heroes and the villains. The last two were kind of abrupt and the hand fell apart. That end scene of Daredevil Season 2 is so great where they take on copious ninjas along with the terrifying scene at the hospital. That's what I expected but in the last two episodes they were no longer awesome Nobu-esque villains. They felt more street level which felt out of place.
My Opinion: Daredevil Season 1: Good Daredevil Season 2: Meh Daredevil Season 3: GREAT Jessica Jones Season 1: Good Jessica Jones Season 2: Ok lol Jessica Jones Season 3: Good Luke Cage: *Was so boring I couldn't get past the 3rd Episode of the first season* Iron Fist Season 1: Ok Iron Fist Season 2: *Couldn't get past Episode 2*
Yeah I started watching Daredevil because I saw the imdb rating of 8.6 and I have watched The Punisher before I watched the Daredevil and I really loved the show which had a rating of 8.5 so I was interested to see what was in Daredevil that it's ahead of punisher and Holy Shit the show was awesome totally beyond what I expected I did watched the trailer of season 1 right before starting but I didn't expected that all the 3 seasons are awesome it's a complete story and you also have to watch Defenders to understand I accidentally started watching Defenders right after season 2 I wanted to jump to season 3 but I looked up on the internet that the Defenders deal with the hand and the hand was in Daredevil so I should watch the show before season 3 might help in understanding the story better and I was right got lucky there and I also saw Iron Fist imdb rating it was a 6.5 and others are also saying that the show isn't that great so I am not gonna watch that and as far as Luke Cage goes I watched it before Daredevil it was also a good show but I agree with your point about cottonmouth death he was the best villain of the show the episodes before his death are definitely better
To talk about the New York not crumbling point, madame Gao said that once they took out all of the dragon bones, the structure of new york would fail and it would crumble. So if they got the elixer New York would still crumble.
What the fuck was the point of spending all that time on Alexandra if she just gets fucking murdered and replaced by someone more interesting. Also, there will never be tension for these four characters again because they demonstrated that they don't have the balls to pull the trigger and kill a protagonist. Those are my only complaints.
Blizzic I would've killed Colleen. She was pretty pointless and she fulfilled her "arc". Also wtf was the point in the " black sky" mumbo jumbo besides it being an excuse to bring Elektra back
Blizzic Killing Daredevil would have been the end of the Netflix Marvel series. He carries that shit, the only I feel that could be killed off is Iron Fist because the dude is so bad at acting.
Yeah I have to say after they didn't kill him it just shows that unless the show is on its last season the main characters will *never* die. If they had killed him I think it would have been an amazing way to solidify once again that the MCU can have a dark side.
There was no way they could kill off Daredevil. But killing Alexandra was stupid even though from the start it was obvious Elektra would double cross her
If Season 2 happens, here's my predictions: Madem Gao is alive, becomes supreme leader of The Hand, has the "substance" on stand-by and both Colleen and The Punisher join The Defenders.
Kyle Crofts if the show survives. I don't think the hand Will ever come back. Everything sorrounding the hand was weak: in the defenders, in Daredevil, in iron Fist.
Nah The Shredder will take over The Hand, Colleen will team up with some dude called Casey Jones, the Defenders will find out that DD was saved by 4 mysterious, bulky "ninjas" and then team up with TNMT to fight The Hand together! If Netflix doesn't go broke and buys the rights.
Ima just come out and say it, Luke Cages first three episodes were so near unwatchable, it took so long for anything to happen and when it did it felt so lame. I enjoyed the latter half if Cage because it was more action packed and Diamondback and shades holding people hostage was the best part of the show for me. I wish Cottonmouth didn't die but it didn't bother me anyways, as after that it got good. In my opinion.
It really felt like they were completely distancing themselves from the MCU. I didn't catch any references of those specific characters. Studio politics aside, I'd really love to see all of the TV characters appear in the next Avengers movie, even if just glimpses.
Lee Bays I think the show runners wanted to focus on these main characters interacting and answering question from the previous 5 seasons but yeah some MCU movie references would have been nice especially regarding civil war doctor strange and if possible spider man
Lee Bays I don't think they're ever going to give us a meaningful movie/tv cross over. I think they're connected only through name. So basically, it's a load of diarrhea lol
On the opposite, this show showed me just how stupid the Defenders would look in Infinity War. They really are weak, street-level class heroes, that struggled against some ninjas and thugs. Compared to the Avengers that prob would've taken out the Hand and everything overnight. What could they possible offer the Avengers when Thanos comes rolling into town with the Infinity Gauntlet? lol Pretty much nothing. Honestly, only ghost rider from AOS would be useful to the Avengers in any manner. I imagine Iron Man pulling up to a Defenders battle, saying something like "What is this, amateur night tonight?," and finishing everything all on his own.
I really liked Daredevil S01 and Jessica Jones... but with the second half of DD S02 the shows have gotten worse in my opinion. Luke Cage was also only good for the first half and Iron Fist only had a couple good episodes. And now Defenders was only OK in my opinion. When those shows started they really stood out... now they feel like standard television cost :/
After DD and JJ all the other show just seems so down toned in everything yes. The fight choreographs, production values and the whole of the scriptwriting as well. Villians got worses and worser too.
I am late to the series and binged all seasons in release order. I would say that The Defender was a highlight but it was more rewarding after having seen Luke Cage and Iron Fist. The show felt like Iron Fist season 2 and the banter between Luke and Danny was great. It's a shame the relation between Daredevil and Jessica Jones was not continued after this.
LORDE OWS show's seasons don't need to be that long it has nothing to do with attention span it's easy to tell if a show is dragging you gotta be real stupid to not notice it
Ochoga never said it did.. but unlike you and the op I don't whine like a little bitch about something like that... in my personal defense tho. But hey to each their own bruh 😉
Luke Niko I was way more interested in Iron Fist off the bat then Luke Cage. I put LC down for months before coming back to watch it during the summer.
I was liking the show allot. but then the show was contradicting itself. luck cage is like a tank, he wont get hurt by bullets, super strong, iron fist cant even fight him with out using his glow stick hand. But yet he loses to a guy a few episodes later that knows karate. like really he is also dodging a katana like you don't doge bullets but you dodge a sword. He goes from super strength to a stronger then average guy. I still liked the show I just found myself getting in to the show and then stupid shit like that happens that pulls me away from what was going on and ruins the experience for me. Its like the writers where like "Luke Cage would be to strong here lets have his ass lose to some guy that just knows karate but has no powers what so ever" and " Lets have Jessica Jones forget how to use her powers when she is about to fight. So when she fights she will get her ass kicked. but she remembers how to use them to lift up a big heavy drawer to put in front of a window" like dumb stuff like that killed the show for me.
WBsteve I agree, his strength was very inconsistent, but I think it's implied that when you're brought back from the Dead you have superhuman abilities like Elektra, so those members of the Hand probably have enhanced strength. And Stick even told Luke he was holding back and could do more damage if he wanted to. I still agree though. It's the same for Jessica Jones in her show, she could lift a fucking car but still struggled against normal thugs.
WBsteve if your talking about their fights with hand leaders and Elektra than yea its pretty obvious a kick from Elektra will have enough force to throw Luke cage back. Jessica jones, even though she has the strength, is lacking in skill, she says it her self "am I the only one who doesn't no karate" like yea she can beat up some small ninjas by overpowering but against the big boys or a large group, it's different; same with Luke cage.
I think Danny was the actual centre of this story because the main conflict revolved around him. Matt's story ties in better than Jessica's and Luke's but there focus on him was very much on saving Elektra which was ultimately a side-conflict.
that scene where Luke Cage, Daredevil, AND Jessica were all knocked unconscious at once...yeah...probably the worst thing I've seen in any superhero movie. Also the iron fist and jessica punch A LOT of people in the chest and they get right up 2 seconds later...I get that they might hold back a bit, but I have to wonder how much iron fist CAN hold back when he's using a fist that is essentially as hard as iron...
The first half with their stories intertwining was so entertaining and well done. The Hand wasn't much of a force to be reckoned with and could've been better. I don't really want a season two, but for the 4 of them to appear in each other's series when needed would be sick. (Luke + Fist) (Luke + Jessica) ( Jessica + Daredevil) ( Daredevil + Fist)
They did imply that if they dragon bones were removed that the "dome" would implode and take a large section of the city with it, but yes, that gets loss in all the other stuff.
Actually Jeremy Madame Gau said that after they removed the skeletons, the city would crumble. Basically, that area is like a main support for the city and removing the skeletons would destroy it. Best Regards
Sounds like a fun watch for me and the Mrs and sister. Thanks Jeremy. An in case you ever read this good Sir :). The Last season of Arrow was ACTUALLY good :) review it ....I hope :)
I thought it was awesome. Iron Fist was definitely better in this show. That boardroom fight was sweet as well. It was awesome seeing them come together as the fight progressed. Also you can totally tell Luke Cage and Iron Fist will be bros like they are in the comics.
Stuart Keating i cringed the whole way through man. If you only watched iron fist and this then its understandable. Daredevil was overly energetic and happier than he was on his show, and the part i liked about his show was the dark tone. The other characters dont fit into the picture either. Shoulda hired a different director
*You know what I've noticed? They disrespect K'unn L'unn and don't give the people from there their due. Like come on...K'unn L'unn is basically a version of heaven. And after 15 years of training in heaven, Daredevil is still a better fighter? Sowande is one of the fingers of the Hand, which means that he was cast out of that heaven, and apparently he's been around for possibly centuries along with the other fingers of the Hand, and yet he gets captured pretty easily and then decapitated by Stick (someone who is a part of an army belonging to the IRON FIST). Alexandra is the so called leader of the Hand, the most important finger (whether that's the thumb, index finger or the middle finger, I don't know) but she just yet I didn't really see what makes her powerful. What was she really capable of? I guess we'll never know. And since the Hand had been around for centuries, shouldn't that mean then that they would have mastered almost every martial arts technique ever created? Yet they get defeated easily by the Defenders (who are yet to be called "the Defenders"). Stick knows that the Chaste is Iron Fist's army, yet he allows the Defenders to disrespect Danny Rand. All K'unn L'unn is known for so far is tapping boys on their backs with wooden staves. Not the badassry that is so proclaimed in the comics. We can't even get to see Shao Lao (I spelt that wrong) the Undying.*
The show was good in general even though Alexandra was another shit Marvel villain. The Hand in general were pretty underwhelming as compared to how they were built up in Daredevil. I was so rooting for Matt and Elektra to get back. They had that Batman and Catwoman relationship going on, which was a good thing. I hope Elektra survived that explosion since we know Matt did in the end..
It totally sucked. And I'm not the blind Marvel fan either. Every episode is someone's feeling got hurt, run out of the room, and someone else will be like 'I will talk to him/her'. And throw in the villain of the week so it still a superhero show
Currently watching it and I’m liking it! Only negative thing I have (for my opinion) is whenever Weaver is on screen, I’m thinking “Can.... we get back to the good guys?” I know every good story has to have a good villain (and there’s plenty of great villains) but she was not one of them for me.
Duh Jeremy! When the Hand gets the bones and takes the "stubstance" needed for their longevity rhey say the process will then cause the city to crumble! So letting them have the bones to leave the city in peace won't fly! Grrrrr! All of the 8 episodes were a "Shaka Thumbs Up!" I felt only episode 6 was a little weak cause Iron Fist is a dolt that couldn't understand that if the Hand doesn't get him, then the Hand loses! :)
I wanted to watch The Immortal Iron Fist (tm), not Meechum family daddy issues hour. Cage was AMAZING up to the mid-season twist. After that..uh, not so much.
One quick thing, I believe somewhere they said that the dragon bones are actually holding up the city, that's why they needed to be stopped, or atleast in Luke Cage's and Jessica Jones' point of view, as well as Stick/Iron Fist being sworn enemies, and Daredevil was probably trying to get Elektra back
I feel the need to point out that it was briefly established that removing the dragon bones would compromise the foundation which would cause the city to eventually crumble. Yes the hand just wanted the ingredients for imortallity to carry on as usual, but it would cause the eventual destruction of New York City.
I don't think Jeremy gets enough credit for his voice impressions. His Stick impression was dead on. I started watching his channel years ago because of his Garrus Vakarian impression was so good. Lol
yeah but his frequent erectile dysfunction with his chi was a little annoying sometimes. in his show it was explained that he couldn't activate it coz he was either drugged or learnt a life-changing discovery. now it just fails...just coz.
They actually had a scene where a homeless man explains what the Internet is. THE INTERNET!! As a way to get some backstory on Danny. Thats just one example of the shody writing in that piss poor excuse for a tv show.
The show felt like an ensemble piece, focusing more on the first chapter of the heroes uniting over a super badass villain. Overall I liked the show, and I'm excited to see what they do down the line.
DJGamingSmash get through the first 7 episodes watch all of those and then get through a little bit of episode 8 then stop because the show gets really silly from there
What i really like about it was that in the first couple episodes whenever we swtiched characters there was a distinct color for each of the characters. Whenever we were focused on Daredevil it was obviously red. Jessica Jones had the purple color. Luke cage had the yellow thing and iron fist had the green. Overall it was a pretty amazing series and i definitely hope they keep it up for the punisher
Jeremy: I assume that they will have more than one season
Me 3 years later: obviously this hasn't aged very well
Try 5 years later
@@orcustplaya88306 years later: mayyybe?
Crazy cause your comment is also 3 years later
That wasn't even a bad Stick impression.
I don't know why you're surprised, Jeremy's impressions are always on point.
@@Dominic-Decoco Yeah especially when he did Fisk from his Daredevil reviews, that was actually really good and gave me a good laugh.

Jessica's and Matt's interaction made the show.

they explain in detail why he left his post in iron fist season 1. He talks about how he felt empty and he needed to return home
Exactly defenders did iron fist way better but still needs a lil better w the choreography
The Hand was kind of boring in Daredevil, but were at least ninjas. By the end of Defenders they were 3 very boring, not that intimidating people.
Blake F the African dude who got beheaded was by far the most intimidating and badass, too bad he died
Jack Sheppard I feel like the hunter dude had potential. So badass he was taking down bears. How did he not get a one-on-one fight with Luke Cage?
Rk91M He did. Unfortunately for him he got put through a support beam by Luke.
The final fight was underwhelming for me. I was expecting there to be a whole lot of ninjas and more collateral damage at least. I really liked it....but man Matt has some serious plot armor 😂😂
WATCHD0G Well he does have his own show so...
p234qote I get that but damn...a fucking skyscraper fell on him
Maybe, I choose to believe he's an incredible fighter
They had already announced S3, Plus from what I understand they're going to adapt the "Born Again" Storyline into that Season. It'll be interesting, because (Possible spoiler, Depending on how they handle the main baddie of a Born Again season)

he is marvel TV's cash cow their not gonna kill off their number one tv hero
Spoilers in response to something Jeremy said
After iron fist opened the door Madame Gao said removing the elixir would destroy the city, but Electra will see many more cities, while Danny was hiding. So the city would have still been destroyed if it weren't for the defenders even though iron fist already opened the door
^ this. Makes Jeremy's point invalid.
If they empty the den of dragon bones or whatever, the city would sink.
Samuel Robertson I feel like he didn't understand this. Which is really sad since he reviews movies and tv shows for a fucking living
Samuel Robertson yup, that was the whole point why they sunk the building.
Yeah, sometimes Jeremy seems kinda stupid
Samuel Robertson true, but the problem was they destroying the city was a 'BY PRODUCT' of what they want. I JUST finished the defenders, like 5 minutes ago. Good show
Ivan G. same here
i got bored after two episodes.
disney era power rangers it picks up you should watch the rest
disney era power rangers The third episode is when they all meet and team up so that was dumb
Ivan G. Average show.
Sigourney was the perfect casting choice for a a villain but her potential was wasted so much in the end imho
fordis2 stop lying you piece of shit she was the worst actress ever she shouldn't of been in the show in the first place her death was very satisfying
chill
fordis2 Alexandra/Kilgrave/Cottenmouth- so much sigh.. wasted
B La an awards and nominations obv prove that she's not a bad actress
Star Wars :Rouge One YES
Daredevil Seasons 1 & 2: Awesome
Jessica Jones: Awesome
Luke Cage: Great until Cottonmouth died
Iron Fist: Boring
The Defenders: Great
Dumbass Luke Cage was the best u racist
Ben McDonald Iron Fist is bad because it had a lousy creator. Scott Buck sucks.
My Opinion:
Daredevil Season 1: Good
Daredevil Season 2: Meh
Daredevil Season 3: GREAT
Jessica Jones Season 1: Good
Jessica Jones Season 2: Ok lol
Jessica Jones Season 3: Good
Luke Cage: *Was so boring I couldn't get past the 3rd Episode of the first season*
Iron Fist Season 1: Ok
Iron Fist Season 2: *Couldn't get past Episode 2*

Thought it was decent. Good lord the Hand is one of the most uninteresting evil groups i've ever seen.
To talk about the New York not crumbling point, madame Gao said that once they took out all of the dragon bones, the structure of new york would fail and it would crumble. So if they got the elixer New York would still crumble.

The Defenders was Lit AF but.... Only 8 Episodes??? WTF
It's a miniseries
Didn't need it

So I wasn't the only one who stopped watching DD like 3-4 before the end of season 2 lol, it really just lost me.
After DD and JJ all the other show just seems so down toned in everything yes. The fight choreographs, production values and the whole of the scriptwriting as well. Villians got worses and worser too.
Thats a perfect Stick impression
I think the best part of Jeremy Jahns videos is pausing and looking at random freeze frames. Gold every time.

I honestly didn't find Iron Fist that bad and enjoyed it, I actually finished it unlike Luke Cage.
WBsteve The members of the hand were just as strong as he was. That's why he was struggling
true
WBsteve I agree, his strength was very inconsistent, but I think it's implied that when you're brought back from the Dead you have superhuman abilities like Elektra, so those members of the Hand probably have enhanced strength. And Stick even told Luke he was holding back and could do more damage if he wanted to. I still agree though. It's the same for Jessica Jones in her show, she could lift a fucking car but still struggled against normal thugs.
Oh my god Lukes on again off again tankiness was really annoying lol. I feel you on this, it happened a bit too much.
And once again Misty Knight was a completely useless character even though everyone in the show insists she's doing something
Snagalishus Man I guess to emphasize on the fact that there is a police presence, to keep realism going
annoying af. bad actress that doesn't fit in the cop role imo.
I agree, they should just give her and Colleen Wing their show and keep them at minimum in the Defenders' shows.
She has MASSIVE tits though. She gets a pass.
Alex Bernal lol. I love Misty Knight, both as a character and as a gorgeus lady, sucks to have your arm cut :(
I died when he mimicked sticks voice 😂
Chillingly early. Ice to see all of you.
cool comment!
What killed the dinosaurs??
Hey Fries, let's kick some ICE!
*sees T2 profile pic* "Chill out, dickwad."
The ICE AGE!!!!
Am I the only one to have noticed how goofy Jessica Jones' running in episode six at 40:17?!?!?
No you do need to watch Jessica jones
Not really
i did not
Dam you sounded jus like stick 😂😂😂
Zack McIntosh he even did the eyes lol
I think Danny was the actual centre of this story because the main conflict revolved around him. Matt's story ties in better than Jessica's and Luke's but there focus on him was very much on saving Elektra which was ultimately a side-conflict.
0:09 "The Defenders season 1! I asume they're gonna have another season..."
:(
overall the show was good but there were some minor inconsistencies that made it a tad bit annoying.
kuja What were they?
Caleb Peterson probably how they dindt have the balls to kill of daredevil
kian Duivenbooden That's not an inconsistency.
If Alexandra died, how come she didn't come back like Harold Meachum?
James Lawner Who says she doesn't?
that scene where Luke Cage, Daredevil, AND Jessica were all knocked unconscious at once...yeah...probably the worst thing I've seen in any superhero movie.
The Defenders: a ragtag superhero team that punches real good
Only one i cared about was Madam Gao! damn that old lady packs a punch! i love her.
Saw the guy playing Luke cage today, he's a big guy
For you.
Pretty sure the show stated that should The Hand succeed in extracting the dragon bones, New York's foundations would collapse
Easily the best part was Matt beating "the Immortal Iron Fist" in a fight. That just made me soooooooo happy.
They should definitely combine Iron Fist and Luke Cage for a Heroes for Hire series
Dude i understood that reference!
You know I appreciate Jeremy because I let the ads play before watching his videos = )
You're saying I didn't have to ruin my whole weekend binging Iron Fist to get caught up for Defenders??? Damn.
Jeremy where are the other TV shows? Arrowverse and the Netflix shows? I wanna see your opinion
I thought it was awesome. Iron Fist was definitely better in this show. That boardroom fight was sweet as well. It was awesome seeing them come together as the fight progressed. Also you can totally tell Luke Cage and Iron Fist will be bros like they are in the comics.
this was little disappointing for me
Knowing that Iron Fist was in this, and after watching that trailer, this exceeded my expectations. I thought it was really good.
You don't have to see Jessica Jones but would you really want to miss it? It's too amazing to miss. David Tennant as Kilgrave was amazing.
0:11-0:13
Nope, sadly.
If it gets too serious The Avengers will show up.
Iorn fist is actually really good in my opinion. He definitely improves in this show from his own series
he was unlikeable in this though, and he acted really childish and the actor isn't good
3:24 That's a pretty good impression I did not expect that.
Your Stick impersonation was dead on lol
Just give me the Punisher series already !
Be careful spoilers dude
what are you doing reading comments on a video about a TV Series you haven't seen yet??? what did you expect?
As if a favorite character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon ever truly died... oh wait, except *[SPOILER]*
Yondu and Stick. ;_; RIP
Stick will probably be back.
I cannot believe they kill her off Alexandra just like how they off Kilgrave/Cottenmouth/Nobu - Why Marvel why..?
Jeremy when will you do the flash season 3 review.
ishan bajpai probably didn't like it
ishan bajpai he hasn't done any superhero TV shows lately has he?
Here is your review: it sucked
Done. Now lets talk strange thing
Son Ha No its not sucked.
That Stick impression was on-point!
Am I the only one who loved Luke Cage?
Barking Mad My favourite series/Defender after DD.
Pepitobenito No
Nope! I adored that series!!
no, I liked Luke Cage as well
...think ppl get more spoiled the more shows Marvel puts out on Netflix
I loved it. Great show.
But the defenders didn't know that... So it makes the whole reason they are fighting pretty weak...
Trinidad The Island Man Yeah but them turning on him was HILARIOUS!! I'm saying that even as an IF fan.
Iron Fist told the rest that after they saved him.
Trinidad The Island Man they are out of the substance
I feel like he glossed over that, because that's exactly what I got. Gao even says it at the end in the cave.
what an original thumbnail, dude punches screen its like its your profile pic or something
Season 1 was awesome ! incredible fun ! All smiles for each and every episode ! Can't wait for season 2 !!!
Rip
The Iron Fist dude brings down the whole series just by existing.
I'm still waiting for the elevator to drop
Where was the punisher??
DrViperVideos he isnt a defender.
DrViperVideos he gets his own show in nov I think it takes place after the Defenders cuz Karen page is in it
Post credit scene
?? who told u he would be in it
Chris Bradley his trailer is in the post credits and in one episode he is shown for a quick second
I wanted to watch The Immortal Iron Fist (tm), not Meechum family daddy issues hour.
Cage was AMAZING up to the mid-season twist. After that..uh, not so much.
Da40kOrks And here I thought it was boring until the mid season twist. That's when I really got into it.
yup 100% agree
I thought it was good from beginning to end, but that's just me.
One quick thing, I believe somewhere they said that the dragon bones are actually holding up the city, that's why they needed to be stopped, or atleast in Luke Cage's and Jessica Jones' point of view, as well as Stick/Iron Fist being sworn enemies, and Daredevil was probably trying to get Elektra back
One of the best reviews!
I bet Jeremy doesn't read his comments
Why is iron fist such a baby haha
Yeah, I like the actor, but Iron Fist's portrayal has been pretty lame. He can BARELY light up one fist, what little bitch.
I wish they made him the marvels equivalent of black dynamite
He's so anxious and easily manipulated. Colleen was also the same way in this show. She also has like zero stamina.
Ste Hodson because of bad writers
Fuck me I still haven't watched a single episode of any of the marvel series...
It's well worth it. A lot of people are so good dammed pessimistic, just watch them and enjoy them, have fun.
That Stick impression was amazing 😂😂
I feel the need to point out that it was briefly established that removing the dragon bones would compromise the foundation which would cause the city to eventually crumble. Yes the hand just wanted the ingredients for imortallity to carry on as usual, but it would cause the eventual destruction of New York City.
IMO
Daredevil S2 (10/10)
The Defenders (9/10)
Daredevil S1 (9/10)
Luke Cage (7.5/10)
Jessica Jones (7/10)
Iron Fist (5/10)
*JEREMY WE NEED SOME GAME OF THRONES EPISODE REVIEWS PLEASE. WE ALL KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING THIS SHIT*
Iron fist is the weakest character and he's the focal point of the Defenders.
Now that all of these shows are official MCU canon, hopefully, we'll get more Defenders seasons.
I don't think Jeremy gets enough credit for his voice impressions. His Stick impression was dead on. I started watching his channel years ago because of his Garrus Vakarian impression was so good. Lol
Nice!
Still waiting for flash season 3 review
Bryce Tinson it was shit man so cringe
The Hand Symbol In My Profile Photo Means Peace true
Worse than Iron Fist!!!
It’s shit
Finished the show. It was alright
I bet Doctor Strange could defeat the Hand with ease, he already destroyed two of his own.
That Stick impression was on point.
Porn or Jeremy? Jeremy
BOssly roxs Why not both?
BOssly roxs Jahns and chill?
BOssly roxs I literally just cummed before watching this😂
Constructive Historian I hate to break it to you, but most people watch porn.
I loved Luke Cage but not Iron fist.
Boring
Iron fist was not that bad
yeah but his frequent erectile dysfunction with his chi was a little annoying sometimes. in his show it was explained that he couldn't activate it coz he was either drugged or learnt a life-changing discovery. now it just fails...just coz.
Alexis Collins It was. I call this Iron Fist "Grimace". He's really stupid and he grimaces a lot.
They actually had a scene where a homeless man explains what the Internet is. THE INTERNET!!
As a way to get some backstory on Danny.
Thats just one example of the shody writing in that piss poor excuse for a tv show.
Dude this happens with Steve Rogers all the time in the movies. Dont know what youre complaining about.
Your right....it was horrendous
The show felt like an ensemble piece, focusing more on the first chapter of the heroes uniting over a super badass villain. Overall I liked the show, and I'm excited to see what they do down the line.
You really can't dislike Jeremy. He's such a likable guy.
Hmm....I was gonna sleep but then I got the notification 😂 #notificationsquad
You are nocturnal
When can I stop in Luke Cage and move to the Defenders, cause I'm at Episode 2, and I just want to watch the Defenders.
DJGamingSmash get through the first 7 episodes watch all of those and then get through a little bit of episode 8 then stop because the show gets really silly from there
Once Diamondback shows up just stop his motivation was daddy issues. He didn't need to kill anybody
Thanks.
Episode 7 or 8. Nothing after that is relevant
DJGamingSmash Stop after the villain change and jump to the last episode n watch that.
Micah Roman Liked the color filters too. Alexandra had one too. All her beginning scenes were either white or brown colors.
That stick impression is on point
