NEK! is perhaps a name inspired by the Japanese slang
"NEKI" that has been popular in Japan for a few years.
"NEKI" is an abbreviation for "ANEKI," which means an older sister or a strong, reliable woman.

's first two MVs reminds me of the excitement I felt when first discovered another great young band called Girlfriend (which sadly broke up all of a sudden just when they were getting bigger). Hope you girls can stay together for a long time and keep making fabulous music like this! ☺💗

I only noticed this but Cocoro and Akane of Band-maid have the same setup of drums. The same set of cymbals on the same spots. The same toms setup and spot and they even have the same starclassic model. I'm not sure if Cocoro only uses this kind of setup on tama drums.

Broooooo！狂気の曲だ！見事な複雑な曲の構成。1回聴いただけでは、この曲のイントロとアウトロがどうやって曲の真ん中でつなぎ合わされたのか、まだ理解できない。
度肝を抜かれた。メンバー全員がめちゃくちゃ才能がある。この若さでこれだけの才能があるなんて、彼らには関係ない。また、ここまでの曲は2/2。2曲とも全く違うスタイル／サウンドだが、作曲的には同じくらい複雑だ。とてもよくできている！次が楽しみだ！
Broooo! Just an insane song! Masterful complex song composition. After 1 listen, I still cant figure out how the intro and outro of this song was pieced together with the middle of the song.
Its mind blowing to me. Every member is insanely talented. They have no business being this talented at such a young age. Also 2/2 with songs so far. Both songs completely different style/sound but equally complex composition-wise. Very well done! Im looking forward to the next one!

Another excellent song! That opening riff from Natsu is so catchy and just sounds so "rock." I loved Hika's vocals. Her voice sounded so clean. I'm slowly falling in love with Cocoro's drumming. It's got such great energy, and I loved the solo tom hits during the bridge. Kanade's bass was excellent as expected. I love that the mixing allows it to be heard so clearly. I can't wait for their first EP to release!
