really enjoyed your review. Casual, honest, and informative. I just purchased an SFP9L (VP9L) and I must say, I prefer the paddle to the button mag release; with practice, it does seem to be faster and is inherently ambidextrous. And that is coming from someone who did not like it at first.
I picked up the 2020 OR VP9 5” Push Button ( SFPL in Canada ) It’s fast and very accurate - was great with irons but awesome with a Holosun 507C V2 Green I think the overall ergos are the best on any polymer pistol - I run the large back strap and sides I love my CZ P10F as well - but it doesn’t have the ability to customize the grip isn’t as fully as the HK nor is it quite as accurate out to 25 yards Similarly, my S&W M&P 2.0 5” just isn’t quite as refined as the HK I like the wide trigger blade - the charging fins - and the ported 5” slide is very tactile for quick chamber checks before a competition stage I’ve had zero malfunctions with any ammo with over 2000 rounds thru it I feel the build quality and engineering is excellent Thanks for the comparison to the standard VP - I’d agree that the 5” has some worthwhile advantages I guess the price and the original paddle mag release is the reason why these excellent pistols aren’t more common
I would really like to try that exact setup up. I’ve grown to really dislike the mag release on the standard vp9, so a push button 5” optics ready would be very slick.
@@hammerarmament it’s taken awhile to get to North America but I HK has offered up a worthy OotB competitor to a customized G34 MOS Looked up your holsters too - very cool - I have RTH’s and Comp- tac’s but if you ship to Canada maybe I’ll try one out !

Paddle is ideal for my big hands, my thumb can easily do it without having to break grip and reach back for a button. If your thumb can’t reach, then it would really suck
Have you shot the VP9L? Is there anything we missed in this review or that you would like to see in future videos? Let us know in the comments!

This is a great video! I really like the non-scientific muzzle flip angle analysis. Entertaining and informative, thanks!

Excellent down to earth review.
Really enjoyed the video thank you for this information.
What kind of concealed carry holster do you like for the VP9L
I'm shocked they didn't put removable plate on it for carry optics. Total bummer.
KindredGh0st I do believe the 2020 VP9 does have that.
im looking to get one, i have a vp9
You prefer this to a Glock?
😂😂😂yes. Glock does have the advantage of a better aftermarket. But the trigger on this and overall feel is much nicer, in my opinion.
I certainly do!
Maybe someday some one will write folk songs about me...
jaycarva I can make that happen.....

Hammer Armament bahahahaha that was a lot of effort! I’m impressed. Nice video too, good production quality!
Paddle is the fastest
Paddles belong on canoes, not Guns.
