Love that there is instructions for people who do not know this yet. A lot of guys are growing their hair long for the man buns, mullets etc and don’t know how to do this yet. A lot of girls who are trying to learn can watch this and get step-by-step instructions. I know a lot of people think it’s just super easy but that’s because we already know how to do it. when we were little or just learning think back on how we would get frustrated trying until we figured it out. so it’s great that there’s a simple instruction on how to do it. My mom never taught me things I should know and aways scolded me too, and she has recently been founded to cheat on my dad and my dad is gonna divorce her and my mouth dropped when I found this comment because I’m in the exact same situation as you.

I won't lie, my hair is just long enough now to kinda need a ponytail to avoid irritation during various day to day stuff, I had beginner's luck 1st try, then seemed to fail miserably every other time 😂 as slightly annoying as it was to know I couldn't work something out that most 4+ year old girls can do with ease, I was reminded that everyone struggles, many girls don't fully grasp it til later in life, and even they had to be taught by someone. Yeah same I had my hair short for a while so my parents never taught me how to tie my own hair (they don’t teach me a lot of things, I still don’t know how to ride a bike lol) My hair’s super thick so it’s especially hard for me.

And a final step (if you want/need to) to make it nice and tight, is to split the pony tail in half, and hold each half in one hand. Then pull them apart, which will make the band move up into a snug position.

I'm a 33 year old male growing my hair out. I am able to tie my hair up in a Pony Tail (also known as Man's Tail). Sometimes a mid pony tail (not high or low), and sometimes I do "half up & half down". However, after wearing the Pony Tail for about 5-7 hours, and when I take the Hair Tie away, the scalp area where I have tied my hair up would hurt. Does any of your experience this?
