Hi love love your videos! I have a few questions but with start with just one. I reside in Michigan. I am a LPN. I want to open up a business that I go to people homes and do "Home Care and Hospice". I checked the website in Michigan for information and can't find anything. My question to you is, would you know what license I would need in Michigan to do Home Care at people homes and hospice (to take care of them for a certain amount of hours per day). It will start with me eventually and as it grow, I will end up hiring people to help take care of the clients. Thank you in advance
You can get your Medicaid number your NPI number and also your TIN number. All of these are all free. I have my license for companion homemaking services through the State which should be at least 30 to $50 and also get contracts with all of the MCO companies which are the insurance companies for example Centene has Medicare and Medicaid. The Medicaid owned by Centene is Sunshine Health, StayWell, and etc You can become a long-term care Medicaid provider and receive clients and get paid.
I am confused because you stated Georgia was a regulated state so when it comes to homecare it states a professional (Registered Nurse) is needed for assessment can you clarify

Ga rules and regulations mandate that a RN must do assessments prior to a client starting services.
