I understand it. You're working on an old mine. It would never have occurred to me to look there. Yes, the weather is getting crazier. Nice video, Glenno. Greetings Peter
Thank you for taking me along. Wow, that was a lot of fun. To be able to get out and be healthy and walk doing what you enjoy doing is a gift. Congrats on the gold piece. Another great video and great narration. Thank you for sharing. Thumbs up!
@@getdownanddirtyprospecting Siamese cows how cool. Steve has caught when he was in primary school a 2 headed brown snake and still has it in a jar somewhere.
That was a nice picker and some nice looking gold. Snows about to fly here so I'll be limited to spots with only fine gold. But that's ok. That looks like a nice place to prospect thanks for sharing
Great vid, yeah you can find gold in some crazy places! That is pretty good for a road lol! I once did a pan in a concrete going across a campsite with some stuff that had been washed in and got a few specs but nothing like that, solid gold!
Hi, another good video and enjoyed watching 👍 Some very nice gold. I like the road kill gold 🤣 I guess you just never know where you will find it. All the best, Natalie🙋♀️😊👍
Damn right. Have you got any ideas on how to up his production rates ? You watch a lot of videos, surely he can improve with your broad knowledge. ☺ Cheers GS 🍻
Great video Glen. I love Nundle and plan to go back soon for some prospecting. They were most definately zircons and there is bigger ones up there it's just knowing where to go. There is also an awesome quarts crystal spot just near the lookout
@@getdownanddirtyprospecting I'm going back for more gold, but I have a hunch on a few spots I would like to try for gems up in the pines. Good luck out there!
Very nice indeed Glen. I really admire your initiative to just have a go at any bedrock around gold bearing areas. I'd like to try that around Porter's retreat area next time I'm out there. So sick of working and would love to just trek around scratching for gold most of the year and surf in summer. Keep up the great work. Would love to see you do a video prospecting in the gulgong area one day if you ever think it's worth while. Best wishes and thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Neil u never know I'm always doing research on different areas .Don't worry i'm sick of working my butt off to still riding a short Board to lol
Looks like Southern Oregon. Nice, chunky gold you found there! The gems looked cool. I would have liked to get a closer look; I am clueless about gems. Very cool!
Thanks Jefferson State Gold We here in Aust have had 2 years of the worst drought ever now we have had 2 years of full on wet lol weird I know cheers Glenno.
Yes have done a rocker video there but too much rain and water should see how far up the Dam is now half of Bowling Alley Point is gone I saw a boat fishing on a spot where once I cleaned up lol
Was this in the state forest? Fossicking in the Peel River is no more.. Here at Nundle right now, the information place in the cabin park told me they no longer give out maps for the fossicking areas in the cabin office either, they are reluctant to tell you where the fossicking area is. They said the locals are opposed to fossicking in the river there was a complaint about fossicking outside the boundaries of the fossicking area, it’s become a hot button issue in Nundle. The fossicking areas have been fenced off with warning signs about surveillance and illegal fossicking and discourage disturbing stones and riverbanks due to habitat for endangered species. Give Nundle a miss unless 4WD into the state forest
I’m sure there are places to to try on the river it’s getting in then u can walk the hole river if u want to prospect that place was near hanging Rock. Thinking of going again one day but at the moment there are lots of spots I want to try
@@getdownanddirtyprospecting It takes me an hour and half to get to my site - I would work in the rain , but your poncho looks like you had trouble either getting it on or off
