    Liz you are fabulous! I love your videos with Wal around Australia! And you have jewellery tutorials, you do beautiful work! Wondering if you and Wal prospect in Victoria at all? Have loved prospecting in Inverell and would love to do more down here, warm wishes x

    • @LizKreate
      @LizKreate  10 лет назад +1

      We have prospected in some parts of Victoria. Too many places to go prospecting and not enough time. The Glenn Ines and Inverell area is where I'm nagging Wal to go next....;-) We just have to find the time to fit it into our schedule. Hopefully soon.... All the very best to you and hope you get to do more prospecting. Cheers, Liz

      +Liz Kreate One of the largest ever sapphires was found up near Inverell. I used to do a bit of work just north of there and one of the locals was telling me that they used to use the pretty blue stones out of the creek in their shanghais. ;)

    Those tiny little clear crystals would look great in a hourglass. Every now and then making jewelry i break a stone. I save them and put them in an hourglass, those little crystals would be just as cool.

    Ii love quartz crystals, especially when you can find them in a cluster. In the state of Arkansas here in the states in and around diamond crater national park there have been large clusters found. A friend of mine has a huge one she uses as a door stop, lol. I know, there are many better uses.
    Happy Hunting

      Thanks Thomas. Would love to find a HUGE one for my Gem Room. We do have an area here in Oz where massive Crystals are found but it's in a private farm. Might have to wait when they plough the field and offer our services to dig them out....lol

    I found huge ones near a construction site. Some were about 8 in and real thick ones. But I guess bulldozers ran over them and their edges are chipped and somewhat uneven. I want to know if they can be evened out or we can smooth out the roughened ends

    I have a ideal , you said you make jewelry with the gems you find, what not take one of the Quartz Crystals you find and shape it into a pendant shape, maybe tear drop and drill small holes in the crystal and add Opal where you drill the holes. You could add different shape opal in the holes.

    Do you ever sell gems or gold??? Better yet gold paydirt or sapphire paydirt. I'd buy both paydirts from you after seeing how good you guys are. I prospect and sell Alabama paydirt but love trying paydirt from other places. Ga. and NC is great because of the chance at gems. Hope you can see this and respond. Great videos...Heath from Alabama

    • @LizKreate
      @LizKreate  10 лет назад

      G'day Heath, we don't sell any of our finds since we only do this for a hobby. But in saying that, been trying to get a website set up (to start selling) for the past couple of years but the call of prospecting and fishing takes first priority...lol
      We will be selling gems and nuggets in the future but the paydirt is not possible due to quarantine issues. Best of luck and Happy Hunting. Liz

      Joel Romano you can go to your County were they get their rocks and sign a release at your own Risk, you must be safe...if not always great finds around Creeks, Rivers or the Ocean.

    • @LizKreate

      Wal doesn't care much for Gems as his passion is with gold and fishing. Goes to show how little regards he has for them(gems). I have to argue and beg with him all the time just so he can take me to the gemfield after we finish with the goldfields. lol
