The back story: I watched this 12 hours ago and make my usual comments, got side tracked and never hit the comment button before signing out. So, you are not alone in forgetting something today. I do like your collection of the vintage Wilkinson Sword classic razors. Just remember you have the Wilkinson Sword Safety Razor, AKA Sticky, the first in the line! I envy you. SOTD: 1930 Gillette NEW SC razor loaded with a 1970 Made in England Gillette Platinum blade (10th use). La Toja shaving stick lathered with a PAA Atomic Rocket Synthetic brush...awesome lather for sure. Traditional 3 pass plus pick-up shave. These vintage blades are sharp, smooth, and long-lasting. No issues removing 3 days worth of growth. Finished with Thayer's AF SF skin toner and PAA Atomic Bay Rum aftershave. BBS result. Your shave was a good quality and always fun to watch. Yes, you can't get closer than blood (PaulHFilms TM). Please take care of yourself. Cheers.

Since you asked, SOTD Tatara Masamune, Feather blade, Maggard build-a-brush with SHD badger knot (very nice knot!), Barrister & Mann Reserve Lavender soap, Stirling Bergamot & Lavender AS, Sudsy Soapery unscented balm. Almost as soothing as one of your shaves.

Hi Paul, SOTD yesterday was the new Henson Razor, Permasharp blade, Yaqi Evil Zebra brush, QShave scuttle, One Society Rum & Lime oil, Wholly Khan Fougere Bouquet, Humphreys Cucumber & Melon, Myrsol Blue and finally Nivea Men Sensitive Balm.
The new Henson Razor really was an experience, in a good way👍

I just did a cursory search for "Vintage Wilkinson Sword DE Razor" and they are demonstratively rarer or at least more difficult to find than the average vintage razor from any of the major brands. Maybe that's a blessing in disguise and Heaven's way of saying keep some money in your pocket fool.. :D

The cat certainly got vocal, as did the neighbor's dog. My SOTD was a blasphemous one, with a Bic disposable razor and a can of goo used intermittently with a cream not meant to lather. Tonight's meal is a jazzed up meatloaf with barbecue sauce and Italian bread crumbs. All the best.

I'm shaving tomorrow and my sotd will be a wood handle brush with I don't know knot and a gel in a can shave gel from nivea(to lazy to order a prorasso soap) with my Gillette d4 razor and rockface preshave cream and oldspice aftershave

Excellent shave, excellent Channel. As a relative newcomer (or returnee- bad experience as a teen borrowing my father's Gillette). Became hooked during these weird times in lockdown. Have learned so much from this channel and others, from Paul his enjoyment of his post shave ritual has added another dimension to this enjoyment.
So yes I am now amassing a collection with plans for my own den. Thanks for all you do.

L"Oreal men expert face wash, Proraso green preshave, Arko soap, Razorock SLOC with Voskhod blade, Omega alum, Dickinson's witch hazel, Dove Men care face balm, Skin Bracer aftershave.

My SOTD will be the Fatip Piccolo with a Bolzano blade, Semogue Owners Club Boar brush, Saponificio Varesino Desert Vetiver Soap and Aftershave, and L'oreal Men Birch Sap Balm to seal the deal. Great shave. Interesting that Wilkinson Sword has had older Classic razor models from the past without many of us wet shavers knowing it. My SOTD is gonna be of the King C Gillette razor with a Gillette Yellow on its third use, with the soap/aftershave TBD. My brain cells need to work when I try to think of what gear I should use for a suave

Canadian Thanksgiving here in Canada this weekend. Not much will be happening over here with all the restrictions due to Covid-19...
But life is still good. Canada is doing fairly well compared to other countries. Let’s wear the mask, keep 2 meters apart, washing hands and avoiding groups of humans... Thanks for the great video.
