Yes yes yes!
"That's a pretty good singer". Understatement of the century! It's Freddie frickin' Mercury, the best singer ever!
Freddy is only a "pretty good singer"???? He's the BEST!! Once you dive into Queen's catalog, you'll never leave. So many great songs. So much variety. THE SINGLE GREATEST ROCK GROUP EVER!!!!
I thought the same thing. Queen two in my opinion is the greatest album ever recorded
@@zodarian6705 you say Queen two and I say Sheer Heart Attack 🔥💯
@@LillyRose924 another great album. But for me Queen2 was the first queen album I ever got so it'll always be my favorite.
@@zodarian6705 now you have me debating which one is my fav because Queen 2 is a close 2nd. The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke😅😅
@@LillyRose924 with so many amazing albums and so many amazing songs it's almost impossible to choose one. I believe the only correct answer when someone says what is your favorite Queen album is yes they are.
Queen is possibly the GOAT band. Iconic, anthemic, with mastery and artistry we’ll likely never see again.
not to mention Freddie was arguably the greatest singer of all time
Possibly? Who’s better live without earpieces and voice over? NO ONE
The man could literally sing any kind of music and knock it out of the park he even got to do Opera at the end of his life
@@dcg590 Meatlove is one who is challanging him
Yes Queen, but you never stop a guitar solo cause thats Dr. Brian May playing👑👑👑👑
Yes Tammy..sadly he knows how to ruin an excellent Queen song..maybe he should look at how other people react with judicious pauses...just as well that there are other channels where we can enjoy Queen😉😂🤩
Absolutely, fully 100% agree!! Way to many pauses throughout the video's, and because of this I can't subscribe!! Sorry 😐
@@rhondamcbath6279 Hey, it shows he's legit. He's never seen it before, or he'd have more respect
There's trouble about instant reaction... I can do about 5 hours about this official video... About gay separatism ect... So quite quick reaction 👍
100% CORRECT!
You NEVER stop during Sir Brian’s guitar solo
Freddie Mercury quite probably was one of the top ten vocalists in history. His control and consistency of sound is insanity, and his range is huge. And that’s not to mention his performative talent. No one could get a crowd going like him.
Nobody makes music like this anymore. Never gets old. Love Queen.
And, yes, Freddie’s voice was OUT OF THIS WORLD! He was THE Rock God!! A gift from heaven we were blessed to have witnessed and recorded! If he wasn’t recorded, no one would believe any human could be THAT damn good! Love the reaction!
Freddy's voice is galactic, and his stage presence was simply the blueprint for a lead singer of a rock band.
I mean, he was influenced by some legends himself while growing up, listening to and idolizing such icons as Robert Plant of Zeppelin, Mick Jagger of the Stones, Elton John, and of course David Bowie.
Yet, as great as any and all of them were, I think deep down in all of their hearts, even they (and I'm someone who believes Zeppelin is the greatest band ever, and hold the dearest of places in my heart for Robert Plant, having idolized them first) would admit he'd surpassed them, both vocally and with his stage presence.
No one really has any right being so damn dynamic, but Freddy was. Queen, while not my favorite band of all-time, are a razor-thin second...😉
@@TheGoofyBuddhawell said and I 5000% agree with each and every single word. Freddy is still missed and loved even more than he could have imagined. You know he’s smiling and you can hear him say “I’m loving it darling”
You gotta do their performance for live aid at wembley. The most iconic rock performance of all time🔥🔥
Yep, that was the most spectacular appearance. Freddie and the audience…AMAZING. I never even liked radio ga ga until I saw that performance. 🤗
The best band ever, and the best vocalist and frontman, Ever!!!!
Queen concert at Live Aid is the most phenomenal concert of entertainment you’ll find! 🥰 Rest Peacefully Freddy
The live aid concert considered to the best rock ever. You have to see it
Do you feel the power and energy of Queen and Freddie? Best band and vocalist!
Greetings from Germany.
yrs old it holds true. Have a good time, as the world goes to one world. I'm having a good time in Texas.
Oberst Schwatisch. Rob63...
Yea des good. Queen open up the world to pease. Now this song is over 30
“… a pretty good singer…” Yep
And there’s a pretty good guitarist too. Brian May likes to take Freddie’s melody and cadence and carry it forward with his guitar solo, like a response/ conversation. Not bad for a PhD Astrophysicist.
For me, Brian May is one of the greatest guitarists in the world, if not ‘THE" greatest one. He and his father built his guitar. Unique.
All 4 have degrees, Freddie a degree in Graphic Design, John in Engineering, Roger was bored doing Dentistry and switched to Biology, Brian a PHD in Astro Physics
WHITE QUEEN live at Hammersmith, DRAGON ATTACK live at Montreal
YESSSS 🔥🔥
Someone mentioned "Somebody to Love" live in Montreal 1981... for sure! Band members: Lead singer/piano: Freddie Mercury, Bass: John Deacon, Guitar: Dr. Brian May, Drums: Roger Taylor... All band members wrote hits. Freddie wrote that one.... Keep going please!!!
I was absolutely privileged to see the inimitable Queen perform live several times in my life....What an outright thrill. This song is killer, and has been voted the Happiest Song of All Time.. All I can say is.... Thank God dear Freddie used his powers for good...Otherwise the World would have been in big big trouble.
If you're going to do another from Queen, peep "Somebody to Love", live in Montreal 1981. I'll watch that shit and give you a like.
No one tops Freddie. I'm surprised you haven't done a react on Queens ,Bohemian Rhapsody ❤
"Pretty good singer..." early on is the best unintentional understatement I've ever heard. Great video!!
What I appreciate more than anything else about Queen is the variety in their catalog and willingness--Always--to stretch themselves and try something new. It's why it was so difficult for them to consider utilizing someone else as a lead singer after Freddie's passing. For me, I'd suggest trying Under Pressure, which had a very convoluted writing process between David Bowie and Queen but ultimately produced a classic *and* has a bass line you *may* be familiar with. 😂😂😂
Respect John Deacon saying no to continuing ( aside from some recording work to finish an album ). It isn't the same without Freddie.
There's not a weak link in the bunch--four fantastic entertainers. Every moment is filled with energy, talent and incredible professionalism.
Queen is a British rock group formed in 1970 consisting of:
Freddie Mercury - Lead vocalist and piano
John Deacon - Bass guitar
Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocalist
(Dr.) Brian May - Lead guitar and vocalist.
There are so-o-o-o-o many amazing Queen songs but maybe your next should be "Somebody To Love". It was written by Freddie and was supposed to be his favorite Queen song. Both Bohemian Rhapsody and Don't Stop Me Now were also written by Freddie.
Though Freddie wrote a lot of the Queen songs, all four members of Queen wrote songs and each of the four had hit songs. Like "Another One Bites The Dust" written by John Deacon, "We Will Rock You" by Brian May, "Radio GaGa" the song that gave Lady GaGa her name, was written by Roger Taylor, and "We Are The Champions" written by Freddie.
Freddie adored Aretha Franklin and you can see her influence in the "Somebody To Love" song. The studio version is great (ruclips.net/video/kijpcUv-b8M/видео.html ) but Queen's live performance of the song in the Queen Montreal concert of 1981 is amazing (ruclips.net/video/aA2IRoPFIn0/видео.html ).
Queen's live versions of their songs were often even better that the official studio version. On stage, they were not just musicians but they were entertainers who worked hard to give their audience a show that wowed them. Freddie is considered one of the greatest frontmen ever! He had a way of captivating the audience and bringing them along into the show.
I WANT IT ALL...great song
Get Down Make Love... Most underrated Queen song.
Yes I love it!!!
I love this song too!!!
Freddie Is still killing it. Young ones will appreciate soon.❤😂😂
Haha..i paused and gasped when you said he's a pretty good singer..ahhhh..he's the G.O.A.T..for the last 40 plus years so many singers want what he had..wow...
John wearing his knitted tank top and Freddie in his black leather. Brian in embroidered satin and Roger smart casual. Loved that they all just did their own thing!!!
This is my happy song. Thank you for your reaction. Pick a song, any song by Queen is a great song. There are about 200 to choose from and they cover every genre. All 4 members have written number 1 hits, they each have different tastes in music and each one is in the song writer's hall of fame. I would say next song to do should be Somebody To Love live at Montreal. Freddie (lead singer) and Roger (drums) really show off their greatness as vocalists and the band is perfection. Queen is at its best in live performances. Again, thank you for reacting to one of my favorite Queen songs.
Somebody to love live in Montreal queen are even better live!!
Another One Bites the Dust, I Want to Break Free, Under Pressure or even better; a live one called Radio Ga Ga (Live Aid 1985)
Freddie got ALL the charisma 😊 RIP❤
Don't stop here you've gotta keep going! We would love more early Queen songs, please and thank you! 👍👑💓
I would suggest Dragon Attack for some good ol' fashioned funk
John Deacon's Bass from the very beginning undergirding Freddie Mercury's vocals relentlessly! ❤❤❤
Freddie’s vocal range is epic. The four members of Queen were so tight in their performance. Please review “Somebody to Love” next. Always, always review their live performances. Once you have a good 6-7 Queen reviews under your belt you should review Live Aid. But hold off until you are ready.
Musical history for me. What a great performance. Thanks Polo.
I went to my first concert when I was 13 in 1977 it was Queen and Thin Lizzy. Seen them four more times after that always amazing!!
Love you. It really is timeless
I love it too. This is the official video, but his live performance of this song in Montreal goes to a new level. It's on RUclips. Would love your reaction.
So famous and the best band and Singer
I really love that song, thanks for sharing your opinion, you have all my respect. Love from France 🇫🇷😘
You need to do more queen reactions man!
This is voted the best band ever - with The Beatles second. The song is the happiest of songs. Freddie is the best singer of all times - alle four band members are inducted in "Songwriters Hall of Fame". continue your journey - you are into something majestic : Queen!
This song is as close to perfection as you can get. Freddy is the greatest singer of all time
Phenomenal artist Freddy Mercury's killer voice and personality combined with Guitar god and real life rocket scientist "Sir" Dr. Brian May and the other members of Queen equals pure and ethereal EXCELLENCE!!!! No band will EVER match their perfection
If the hairs wild...the solos going to be crazy!🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
One of my favorite songs by Queen. No one can outmatch Freddie Mercury
Such an amazing song. Below is a youtube link to my favorite performance of this song. It's
from 2019, Britain's got Talent. Enjoy with your family. Love and peace to you and yours.
From Wikipedia: "The single reached number 9 in the UK charts but only number 86 in the US; as the album [Jazz] was a top-10 hit, the song got some airplay on U.S. album-oriented rock stations despite its low chart ranking as a single. Despite this, the song has grown in stature with time and has been popularised not only by consistent airplay, but by its use in advertisements, television programmes and films, and through cover versions. It has subsequently become one of Queen's most popular songs"
Check out cool cat
Freddy is so sorely missed. I cried the day he died. I still listen to queen, but theres a a broken 💔 heart there too, because Freddy was taken far too soon. Queen was 4 amazing musicians, that came together and blew the music industry away. No one had ever done what queen could and so far no one has to this day. They were icons. Elton john would be a close 2nd, but freddy and queen will hold the crown. Try crazy little thing called love, we are the champions, love of my life, fat bottomed girls, this thing called love and the list goes on. There are too many superb queen songs to list. Love them still.
Next one? ‘Somebody to love’ and ‘Save me’.
Queen - definiately Somebody to Love
Queen is AWESOME ...the lead singer is the LEDENGLY Freddie MERCURY!
My Favorite queen song. Even in the car, you can't control your shoulders from dancing. Instant smile full on dance song.
(Dr) Brian May, guitar player and honest-to-God an astrophysicist, still has the same hair. It's just gray now. He still plays that same guitar he and his dad made from part of a fireplace mantle. it's known as the Red Special. If you want to hear something completely different, try White Queen at Hammersmith, 1975. It's hard to believe it's live. Or Stone Cold Crazy, which is speed metal before that was a genre. Metalica does a cover of it. Or We Will Rock You, which even if you think you don't know any Queen songs, you know that one (and We are the Champions). You'll hear it at every sporting event from preschool to the major leagues. And Another One Bites the Dust. Sorry... I could go on and on and on, but I'll stop myself. 🙂
Did you also know Dr. Brian May does not use a pick, but a coin? Amazing ....
March of the Black Queen
Queen is literally one of the only bands who never had bad music. Inferior songs, yes. But, you really can't go wrong with any of it. I would never say that about anyone else. Not even The Beatles or Prince.
Oh, and don't be fooled by the video. The bass player, John Deacon, doesn't sing. His mic was usually turned of at all performances. Vocals are: Freddy Mercury (lead vocals, and keyboards), Brian May (lead guitar), and Roger Taylor (Drums). In fact, if you listen to Queen's catalog, and pay attention to the vocals and harmonies, it is Roger who hits the highest notes, even though Freddy as a 5 octave vocal range.
You really REALLY need to react to their Live Aid performance. The entire set is like 17 minutes. But it’s WELL worth it!! Best Rock Performance EVER.
How in the world could you go that old and not ever heard this masterpiece ?
Killer Queen is always one of my favorites but I love pretty much everything Queen ever did. And I miss Ready Freddie so very much rest in peace
"That's a pretty good singer" - Polo on Freddie Mercury
Somebody to Love 1981 Montreal if you never do another queen video ever you should do that and you will like it
YESSIREE!!
At my wedding reception when this song came on I danced and sang along to it with my 3 stepchildren. It's 3 minutes and 29 seconds that are indelibly stamped on my heart.
Somebody to love, live at Montreal.
I love it 🥰💞💞 queen is an experience
The happiest song in the world :)
Next Queen to watch? Somebody to Love- live in Montreal should definitely be next. If you haven’t seen their Live Aid concert yet, definitely check that out as well!
Freddie wrote this song after Roger, Brian and John had an Intervention with him about his heavy duty partying in the mid 70’s which makes it an even better song.
The guitarist with the hair, Sir Brian May PhD, is also an astrophysicist and was recently knighted by the King!
This was voted the happiest song in the world.
Queens ROCKS ALL HAIL QUEEN!!!
Yay! My favorite Queen song!
You should listen to the entire album Queen 2. You will absolutely have multiple soundgasm and you absolutely must wear headphones. That being said the song you need to react to is The Show Must Go On keeping in mind that he knew he was dying of AIDS when he did that song
Watch Somebody to Love Montreal 1981......your mind will be Blown
More!❤
You can begin to see why, by the last song of a Queen concert, NO-ONE was sitting.
FREDDIE, there will never be another. An incredibly shy guy until he became our FREDDIE on the stage. Rest In Peace darling man💜
Every Queen song is dope
British bands best in the world 😊 we produced the greatest musicians ever! Sorry but I’m very proud of being a Brit when I listen things like this 😉🤘
in 1985 including the 72,000 people at Wembley Stadium in London and 89,000 people at John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia. And there were 1.5 billion watching it
Try the medley, "Fun It," from their Jazz album. UNDERRATED ❤
I LIVE for reaction videos so once I found you I RAN
Killer queen, Bicycle, can someone find me somebody to love!!!
Queen is one of the best bands ever!! Freddie is missed
Nice!
You need much more queen on here. And Dr. Brian May is no joke he has a totally legit PhD in Astrophysics
You need to here "Somebody To Love" by Queen or "Love Of My Life" bith are amazing!!!
Another One Bites the Dust.....Somebody to Love...vevo
Great input….google says this is the happiest song on earth. Check out Somebody to Love in Montreal.
True artists..true stars...the real deal! Unfortunately, the music scene became an industry mainly due to the popularity n success of bands like these n the rest is history.Authentic, genuine art became a rare commmodity.Because art cannot be dictated by social ,economical n political marketing strategies n agendas
Somebody to love Montreal Now im here, Wembley
Such a great song 🙂
Freddie Mercury GOAT!!!
"THE SHOW MUST GO ON "
Another Good One !
You really need to watch this live 💕
FREDDY JUST PURE TALENT ❤
Freddy is like an angel who didn't know he is one.
If you want to see Freddie in all his power, look at Live Aid, Wimbledon, Radio Gaga.
