    I find it har to believe that I'm at this point today, making a video like this. I never thought I'd be able to overcome those fears myself and then share it online with you guys. If you made it to the near end of the video, you've got the power to tell me if I should attempt to do it or not! Let me know :)

    I've never experienced an ed before or been through that myself but I can say that I have definitely fallen victim of the mindset of "I must earn the food". So I have felt guilty to eat something sweet if I didn't exercise that day. I instantly break from that thought but it's something that society has ingrained in us since very young and many can't just come back that easy from that thought. So thx for this video because it breaks with the perpetuation of that really really toxic thing that it is to categorizes food as bad or good.

    Katharina, first of all, you’re doing great!
    I got a question about something I’m insecure about, everyone feel free to answer. I don’t mean to trigger or hurt anybody.
    How do underweight/skinny people actually look at overweight people? Something like, you’re lazy, go exercise, or just don’t eat that much, it’s disgusting…? That’s the feeling I sometimes have when I notice people are looking at me.

    • @ditz3nfitness
      @ditz3nfitness Год назад +1

      I've been there, and I didn't/don't think overweight people are disgusting or grose at all! I just dIdn't wanted to be fat myself. Like, the thoughts of having all of it on my body. I think that's how most think? I don't think most with anorexia think overweight are gross people. Just the thoughts of themselves looking like that is what disgusts them.

    • @louisebruce1863
      @louisebruce1863 Год назад +1

      As an anorexic for my entire teenage and adult life I have never judged people for being overweight. My only thought was my own weight and how I felt (and still do) in my body. I look at people who are overweight as those that may have a problem in their lives where either food comforts them or they might have other types of disordered eating. Sorry you’ve had the experience you’ve had 🥰

    • @katharinaschneiderr
      @katharinaschneiderr  Год назад

      First of all, Thank you Lilian! What @ditz3nfitness and @Louisebruce1863 said is completely true. As anorexic, your mind trick yourself into viewing yourself differently than you actually look (body dysmorphia). But we (speaking from my own experience) don't think about overweight people in any other way than other 'normal' weighing people, despite a slight fear of becoming overweight ourselevs. Our concerns are 100% focused on obsessing with our own bodies.
