Only a week ago i recognised that I deserve to love, I deserve to be happy and do nice things- I am deserving of taking up space and I am worthy of love and care. The only weight I’m going to lose is the weight of anorexia off of my shoulders. I never want to go back to an ED hospital because life is so worth living-everyone deserves recovery and throughout my entire journey I have been watching Ro, she’s helped me and my amazing Mama so much and has given me the inspiration to create my own recovery channel, thank you so much Ro for helping to save me, I will always be truly grateful. 💓💗

Hey Ro, I’ve been in recovery from anorexia for 1 year and I have suffered a relapse since the start of this year. Watching you (and elzani) religiously at every meal and snack has motivated me to kick anorexia’s butt once and for all!! You helped me recognise that a life with anorexia is no life, and that I deserve a free and happy life without ana. Thank you so much Ro, you inspire and strengthen so many people and I hope you know how amazing you are 😁

I just want to say a big thank you!! You saved my life!!! I was struggling with anorexia for about 6 months (I know it's not a long time, but for me it was a burden since I have no one to tell and understand and I'm still 14) and I found your channel and I got better, without the help of anyone, not a psychologist or parents, only my yours, since I don't have parents to support me and I live in an orphanage I only have my sisters and my friends but they didn't pay much attention maybe they didn't understand I don't know, but still I'm very happy now and I'm very grateful to you , now i eat what i want and whenever i want!!! But I don't know why I'm not gaining weight but again thaaaaaaaaaank you!!!😘😘❤️❤️❤️😁😁

Any time with an eating disorder is too long. I’ve had anorexia for over 20 years and trust me I wish I started recovery earlier when I’m currently left with long term health problems. I’m turning my life around but at 14 you have so much life to live and your body can still recover from this. You deserve so much more I promise! 6 months is far too long to be suffering - it takes a lot of food to gain weight and far more than your head is telling you. Please seek medical help incase of risk to refeeding etc. Good luck I promise you can do this and you’re so much stronger than you realise!!

One of the things that was new to me once I recovered from BED - was food phases. Like - I didn’t realize how normal it was to sort of flow from thing to thing like that. But now that I truly listen to my body and eat what it asks for - it’s so funny the phases I go through. Right now it’s cottage cheese, poi and papaya, and Evolution juices. I hadn’t eaten cottage cheese in decades and now it just hits. But I also know that this phase may last awhile - it may become a staple - or it may change in time. And that’s ok. My body knows what it needs. As we know - our brains like to atrophy - so watching your channel is like reading my mantras - just gentle reminders over and over - of why I’m not going back to dieting or restriction. My entire life I couldn’t even imagine what it would feel like to have a completely normal relationship with food. To have it become a non issue when it was an obsession for decades. Sometimes I can’t believe that I finally know what it’s like to feel calm and neutral around food. To have it be a non issue in my life. A source of fuel - pleasure - tradition and comfort - but not part of an addiction pattern. I am so grateful for this peace and freedom. My life is so much easier for it. I have so much more space in my brain now that I’m not obsessing over everything I eat and what I’m going to eat next. It’s so easy now. Thank you for your videos which keep my mindset healthy and keep me present with what I’ve learned and how crucial it is for me to never go back to restriction. I’ve come so far. I eat so naturally now. I don’t ever want to go back to the obsession that ruled so much of my life for so long. Anyway - ever grateful for your beautiful authentic videos Ro. They help me constantly. They help me stay free. It’s such a gift. If I ever somehow get to meet you I can’t wait to give you a big hug. You’re the best. ❤

I get that feeling of fluctuating/distorted self perception right before my period as well, it's crazy! In a way I've come to appreciate all the little "clues" my body and mind give me that it's about to happen though, and I try to take it easy and make the best of it. Once I learned to take it easier instead of trying to tough it out through the first day or two of my cycle, the less cramps and irritability I felt. I also crave pears when I'm on my cycle!

I've injured my knee and suddenly housebound- I'm usually very active and after having managed to increase my intake (yey!), I am now really struggling to to not restrict a lot because I'm 'not doing anything '. I feel so scared to because of those REALLY unhelpful media messages "energy in =energy out". I KNOW this is crap in my healthy self mind, but it keeps plaguing me in the most difficult moments. I get scared "what if I eat too much"?!?!? WTF?!?! I'm trying to imagine all the food I eat as beautiful Amber beads that enter my body and coat every cell with healing light. It does help a bit. But, your video and seeing you having the courage and having gained the strength to listen to your hunger nomatter what you do or don't, or if you're ill or well, helps even more. You are a goddess and inspiration. I Wanna be in your gang!!! Thank you.

I’m so glad you can eat enough and maintain healthy weight, ro💕 I wish I could also eat intuitively and allow myself different types of food but I keep gaining weight doing it so I have to count calories and control my weight. So tired of this shit tbh😿 Sorry for venting but knowing that other people are doing better than me makes me a little bit happier🥰

I love mozzarella and pesto toasties! If you like tomatoes, you should try adding sundried tomatoes - I love them, and they go super well with the cheese and pesto 😋

Periods should not be this painful. They're not meant to be painful at all. So many people who have periods go through pain not realising it isn't meant to hurt this much. I was one of them. Turned out I had Endometriosis and once that was dealt with, my periods are so much better. I had awful periods from age 14 and didn't find out that it wasn't normal until an ovarian cyst burst a blood vessel and I lost almost a pint of blood internally and needed emergency surgery.
(That is of course a very extreme and rare thing!)
Please Ro, consider looking in to your symptoms a bit deeper and hopefully this helps. Of course, everyone is different and all pain tolerances are different, I just don't want something medical to be missed if that happens to be a problem.
Huge love and food freedom for you. Sushi for dinner! NOM! I'm vegan and love the avo maki so much! 😘🤌 Pro tip! Put the soya sauce in a pot and mix in some of the wasabi to taste. In Japan, I believe that is how they make their dip. Dipping the sushi in to the sauce you've made, is delicious!

I'm so happy you spoke out about how being a vegetarian was a form of "acceptable" restriction for you. I'm not strictly vegetarian, though most my meals tend to be vegetarian, despite people on internet shouting I should be vegan. I just know that's way too restrictive for me when I already struggle. If it helped someone else, great, but I know it's not for me.
