To me it looks perfect to keep it this way but you can definitely double it to cover the back and make it thicker which is a good thing for potholder! :)

Hi Nancy, the towel starts with 60 chains - it's multiple of 3 plus three. I have 19 waffle squares - 57 chains plus 3. So if you want to make a smaller dishcloth let's say 10 waffle squares, you would need start with 33 chains. I am going to make more doilies, but I haven't thought about placemat yet.

It’s a shame you waited until the fifth round to give your tip on how to keep the yarn from twisting because I had a twisted mess of yarn! Tips like this should be given at the outset of your video.. otherwise, the pattern is coming out as it should.
