When i heard it had launched i was sure that stuff would be fixed but it's exactly the same issue. It's a shame because i could totally enjoy the game if that was fixed
5:50 Whole heartedly agreed. Getting like 120fps with frame gen on in a first person shooter feels so bad. Game looks smooth as hell but you still feel the muddy lower real framerate underneath with your mouse. Cyberpunk is the perfect example when running all the bells and whistles on. Game is a beaut to look at but it feels awful to move around with your mouse. All this dlss and frame gen stuff imo has just given the studios a crutch to leave games badly optimized. A Ryzen 7700x and 4090 cant even hold stable 80fps in modern games at 1440p. Helldivers 2, Space marine 2, Remnant 2 being recent games ive been playing and notice the bad performance. Hell even in Wukong the bossfight on top of the pagoda dropped to 40fps with frame gen on during one of the boss' attacks.

Its not the first time us gamers get a buggy, half - finished release. What would really impress me would be if the devs came out and said that they have seen the reviews and heard us, and that they are dedicating their efforts in to getting the game in a playable state.

The game is in version 1.0 so yeah there will be issues and the devs have an entire road map and post updates and hot fixes all the time. If you console people played during early access first release you would be pulling your hair out.. the game has changed so much over the past year let alone give the devs another year to see what changes. Frankly they released out of EA FAR TOO EARLY, the game is so bare bones still. Hell it still doesnt have any dismemberment system...in a Starship Troopers game thats kind of bonkers. Still no Hopper bug yet, again, kind of crazy. Very few maps at a whopping, 4. That they expect to keep players engaged for months and months between new ones getting added (And that doesnt include those of us that have gotten bored of how few we have had since EA release). And performance is EVEN WORSE than it was pre 1.0.

When i changed it in game it froze the game for loads of people. I tested this several times. And froze the game every time. So maybe with your reach you can let the devs know ?
To me Helldivers and Starship Troopers are kindred spirits in both good and bad ways. They both have had their ups and downs. Times when the devs were celebrated and times when the community was at their throats!
One thing that i hate still is crappy optimization, drop rates are huge, also sometime if bugs are not dead around, and system minimal and recommended specs not matching with reality

But when it suddenly had mixed reviews because of performance issues it made me think twice because my pc isn't really that high end. Do you think i should still get it or wait for the devs to fix the performance issues first?

I loved the alpha version but I was very surprised that they just full on released it. I think it could still use another year or two of development. It was definitely not a good idea to release it so soon.
I hope they get their act together.. the game was very fun at the start... and it needs to be really good.
Considering that most gamers are on console, the crossplay is a HUGE thing, as now more people can play the game
They didnt get the rights to the klendathu drop music?
they did not get any of them, but do their best to make stuff similar
@@goatman9998 people are greedy lol
The lag in this game is really bad for launch. Space marine 2 and helldivers 2 i have 0 problems. This game the whole lobby is suffering from rubber banding and disconnects
starship troopers is pure fan service, space marine and helldivers on the other hand, well, just look at the player counts lol ;)
I keep crashing at extract which apparently is a common problem with consoles
As a Squad player. OWI when optimization?
Fun fact: This game runs like absolute bootyass unless you have a pretty modern CPU.
even with the rough start i fckn love the game. there is smth about it, the overall vibe of oldschool shooters maybe idk
I’ll stick to helldivers 2, thanks!
It has the same issue that made me stop playing a few days after i bought it 3-4 months ago, what you talked about with the networking issue, the bugs stuttering around lagging even though my ping isn't high and its an issue on every single match.
Ive been trying to join a company ever simce it came out of early access but nothing happens. Dont get any notifications if i was accepted or not. I started my own company but no requests to join. Is the company mode broken?
If you think performance is bad on Pc you should play it on console 😮
After the third crash on hard horde mode at wave 9&10 I put the game down till they patch. That was hella frustrating.
Next update, Basil Poledouris OST added!
Isn't fighting the Bugs what we are suppose to do?
The question is… what does it do better than Helldivers?
helldivers 2 did it better, the player count speaks for itself
Is it me, or this game looks like it was released in the late 2000s. It looks like a mobile game...
Its not the first time us gamers get a buggy, half - finished release. What would really impress me would be if the devs came out and said that they have seen the reviews and heard us, and that they are dedicating their efforts in to getting the game in a playable state.
They have they are actively working on problems raised for an update to sort it out I’ve been having fun despite the game crashing on the series x a handful of times
The game is in version 1.0 so yeah there will be issues and the devs have an entire road map and post updates and hot fixes all the time. If you console people played during early access first release you would be pulling your hair out.. the game has changed so much over the past year let alone give the devs another year to see what changes. You people tend to not realize how small their team is either.. it's not like they're a triple a title company with millions at their disposal. Don't want to deal with console issues then get at PC lol
@@ashtonwolfe6785 I played when it first came out on PC and I am a developer for a indie game so yes, I do in fact know exactly how it is. However allot of developers these days just seem to blame the gamer and not their own work. It takes balls to admit that you released something that probably wasnt ready.
@@HumiIiation Alright buddy
@@ashtonwolfe6785 on series x I’ve had a handful of crashes other than that I’ve had nothing but fun and love with the game, I’ve followed it since it’s early access thanks to people on RUclips playing it and showcasing it, I for one applaud the devs for the work they’ve done
I play console and cross play with friends. I’ve noticed that when we start playing. One of us always have a game crash. It’s annoying.
AMD Framegen is what caused the freezing for me, playing everything on low has been really smooth. Usually able to maintain 60+fps with a 3080 at 1440P. Its odd because the game doesnt look very different from from epic.
That isn't the Tanker bug. That's the Inferno bug. You actually haven't faced the Tanker in any of your footage FYI.
Still looking for that one video about the game, that doesn't use a movie qutoes
I was messing around with the settings on xbox. I changed my audio settings and i havent lagged or froze in 2 days. I tested the performance mode and quality mode. When i changed it in game it froze the game for loads of people. I tested this several times. And froze the game every time. So maybe with your reach you can let the devs know ?
I will wait a bit for them to fix the bugs then I will definitely buy the game. Looking forward to it 😊
Don’t forget, for many console players all the content is new. So steam isn’t a great way to determine it’s full launch across all platforms.
Here come the helldiver fanboys with their hate..
those bois born after 2005thies sooo... their opinion does not count lol
@@dahvish7726me cutting it close by being born IN 2005 😂 my dad showed me Starship Troopers when I was probably too young, love that movie
To me Helldivers and Starship Troopers are kindred spirits in both good and bad ways. They both have had their ups and downs. Times when the devs were celebrated and times when the community was at their throats!
@@dahvish7726solid response and so true
You know helldivers exists because starship troopers exists right?
One thing that i hate still is crappy optimization, drop rates are huge, also sometime if bugs are not dead around, and system minimal and recommended specs not matching with reality
Im a huge starship trooper fan and i was thinking on buying this game when i saw the positive reviews. But when it suddenly had mixed reviews because of performance issues it made me think twice because my pc isn't really that high end. Do you think i should still get it or wait for the devs to fix the performance issues first?
Squad performance update when
Im on a 1060 6b and when the game was in early access i could get 70-80 fps, now this 1.0 update came out and ill be lucky to even TOUCH 30 fps. Its so depressing bc i actually loved playing this game so much and now its unplayable for me AND IT BLOWS!!!
The Bugs are supposed to disrupt the match, Level.. 😂
OWI should consider hiring some programmers.
Love it!
Why does it look so choppy(frames)
low budget
@@greatestever977 I’ll stick to Helldivers 2 lol
@@zeroprime1000 see you on the front brother!
The dead body pile ups are causing the performance issues.
I find it weird ppl are complaining about content. Like bro it JUST released. I guess games have went to quickly put out new content so the player base doesn’t get bored then trash the game once we make enough money. Sad honestly
I returned the game on day 1 because of performance. If 4090 LevelCap is still complaining when FG has been added, that's a hard no from me.
wich game is better gameplay wise and in progression, starship troopers or helldivers 2?
yeez. I dont know what it is but Ive never felt so dizzy after watching a gameplay video.
Shoulda just sold the likeness licences to Helldrivers 2. We all know its SSTs
That's not a tanker bug. Tankers and bombardier are different, and what we have is not a tanker.
Obviously it has performance Bugs.. Space Bugs. 😅
I might be spoiled by darktide and helldivers, but the combat in extermination feels flat as hell. Like I'm shooting my feet with a grenade launcher and bugs die around me, but it feels more like I'm dispelling a mirage rather than shredding anything physical. there's no oomph to any attack.
