Thanks for making this video I agree with everything you mentioned I blame the performance issues on unreal engine I personally have not had that many issues the performance i expect it’s a vram issue with 8gig cards as with metric data overlays my pc often allocates over 10 gigs
Your point toward the end of the video about unlimited ammo is the only thing I disagree with. Those ammo boxes are the result of the engineer's unique ability to build outside of the alloted base development zone and there's no harm in that. If you take that away there is no point in playing the engineer because extra fortification on walls is okay, as is faster construction but neither is essential; the real gimmick is the build freedom and it gives the class its identity to some degree plus without it the class does not really compete with the others to attract players. I certainly would not be playing the class if they took away their build freedom which is by the way, only two items every minute and thirty seconds and from a restricted build list. Without it the engineer is just a worse version of generic DPS. You should not assess classes in a vacuum, if we do that then the Ranger is horrendouly overpowered with its rapid self healing and outstanding mobility allowing it to boost straight over lava flows or clear gaps that others cannot. In key areas of maps I can abuse terrain ledges on the Ranger to solo any number of bugs without taking a single hit because of their pathing and due to the cooldown on the class skill being insanely short. Is that overpowered? On its own... Hell yes. Compared to the other classes, not so much.
I agree. Ranger is really fun. I played the game when it debuted in early access. Played about 2 months then put it down for 10 months. Glad to see they're still working on it. I just want to see more enemy types, balance changes, more weapons/gear, maps etc etc. The game is already amazing. With a little more tlc it could become great. Already better than helldivers with the building mechanic. Yes, I've played both extensively. Uninstalled helldivers after a few weeks. Still kept extermination on my pc. Here's to hoping it continues to improve 😃
Man the SMG iron sights triggers me. When i enlisted in military, our batch were the first for the rollout of the next gen gear and we all wondered why gov thinks its a great idea to pay millions to execs, scientists, techs, R&D and consultants who have little to no relevant combat or ground experience. Sorry to say but your metrics, calculations & research are bullshit, it only looks good on paper. Not saying its wrong but they're not the only important factors and not even the major ones. I'm 100% certain none of these people are confident being able to survive and achieve mission success themselves with the gear and tech they created.

"Mom, I want HellDivers. No, we have HellDivers at home."

Sadly performance issues haven't improved as much

Imo it’s meant to be fired from the hip in this case, very little change in accuracy
