- Hi guys! This new Magic Serum Crystal Elixir by Charlotte Tilbury looked right up my alley so I had to take a deeper dive. This Magic Serum goes along well with her Magic Cream she does offer a discount if you buy both on her website. After researching it, I think it looks amazing. There are a ton of great hydrating ingredients here and also crystal powder so it gives you an instant glow. I think the Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum ($32 at Sephora) could be a dupe. Not as advanced of ingredients but it does contain ceramides which is one of the key ingredients to healthy skin. Magic Serum retails for $80 for 1oz😘.

I can’t believe I’m saying this… despite seeing the negative reviews on the Magic Cream and Elixr… I still decided to try the products because of the countless good reviews, I wanted to see it for myself. Im not sensitive to fragrance but I have dry combo skin… THE SERUM AND MAGIC CREAM MADE MY SKIN LOOK LIKE A BABY WITHOUT MAKE UP. I can’t say other products can do the same for me… I tried a lot of skincare but these are one of the best in delivering instant results. Personally for me, after testing the product for myself… I don’t get the hate because the results on my skin make the products worth the buck!

I have both the Magic Serum and Magic cream.. and I will tell you I have large pores that have decided to live on my cheeks FIR YEARS . I have been using these 2 items for 4 days AND I PROMISE YOU I ALREADY SEE A DIFFERENCE.. everyday I’m excited to wake up to see how smaller they are.

Sadly, this serum pills like crazy. I’ve tried every form of application to prevent pilling, to no avail. I’m a Tilbury devotee, so this is most disappointing.

Oh, but you _are_ aware of that ingredients like these do absolutely _nothing_ to your skin, there is so far no single scientific solid research about these stone-powder and their benefits to the skin? ;) -> QUARTZ POWDER, AMETHYST POWDER, RUBY POWDER, GOLD .... ;) - So, I was tempted at first, did a 'few' researches and decided sooooo against this. Absolutely no-no for me, far tooooooo gimmick'ey.
It is gimmicky, I honestly can tell you if you wear make-up it makes my skin look amazing at 56 years young. Never used anything like it.
