- A maximum climbing day for me on the gravel bike in the Campsies, north of Glasgow. Long rough climbs made it a tough day out but it was a solid day in the tank and I hope you enjoy the video!

Thanks for the lovely comments on my injury update video. Slowly getting there I think so looking forward to more adventured this summer. This is from a training day last summer in prep for the cx season. Hope you enjoy!
Hey @Cameron Mason
What are your thoughts on Crux vs TCX?
These notifications are definitely my favorite to see 😁
The best moment of the day : notification of Cameron Mason 😋 Hope you're good after your injury 😁
I’m always so amazed at your land and road access. In my area of the “States” I have tons of nice rural country roads but it seems like people in the UK and/or EU can go almost anywhere they like. So much of our gravel road sections are on private farms or ranches who’s land owners wouldn’t expect or want a cyclist “trespassing”... or maybe you’re just good at editing your vids.
‘Right to Roam’ huge network of byways bridleways etc that have existed for centuries
What an incredible place to ride! Thanks for taking us along. Cheers mate.
This video really motivates me to ride more but it also shows how beautiful Scotland is!!! Good video btw!!
5:41 here we see some 5 sec all out efforts
Oh my 🤩 Lovely video. I enjoyed it a lot. The views are just stunningly beautiful in those weather conditions. Dream day and probably dream night after that savage effort 😜
You have wonderfully amazing places to ride :-)
So happy to see you uploading videos again!
Hey Cam, I have been watching you since nearly the start of your channel (when you raced in that red and black jersey). Still I wondered how you got there. Can you make a video where you go through your whole career so far? Like how did you find teams/people who supported you? What disciplines did you race as a kid/teenager? etc.
I hope you dont find it too private to share.
Loving the videos as always
Your videos motivate me. Magic your land. Nice to see you. Have a good day.
Great video man, hope the knee is better.👍🏻
Hey Cameron!! very interesting all your tips about training! All the good vibes and success to you
Greetings from Mexico
Looks like such a great day of riding. Very jealous.
I have climbed a lot those climbs too on a MTB, I am impressed you done it on a gravel bike and KOM, well done keep it up
Again a good one 💪🏻🚴♂️💨💨💨💨
Super great video 👌my mom said,100% we are going to visit Scotland when we can go on holiday again, and it's because of the places you show in your videos
I hope the farmer won't be mad with you for scaring his sheep 🙊
Summer cannot come quick enough!
New Trinity team video is in RUclips now, but they are missing you,so hurry up and get better to go racing 🚵 🤪 only kidding, but I hope you are getting better 🤞
Great video! Good views and music 👍
Little Warrior.... Nice.... :)
These vlogs are super cool. You should do then more often.
You are great Cameron , I enjoyed the max power test vlog you did also, what van do you use, they are great for chucking your bike into.
you are the best
Amazing video! Any chance you could do a full day of eating on a training day ?
I am a little bit dissapointed that you didn't climb the tree after 3:34, but still a cracking video, keep it up!
The video is great as alsways. Do you make this year again such an adventure as last year ? The video of the adventure is one of my favourite videos
Thanks. I am not sure yet but I hope so
vistas are to die for, lucky lad having that on your doorstep so to speak. what tyres and size were you using so i can gauge what to try on my next gravel bike adventure up scotland, which will hopefully be sooner rather than later. Cracking footage with fab audio and content chap.
Thanks Chris. These were Specialized pathfinder 38mm. I also run the 42mm for more extreme terrain but I find the 38s a good compromise for road and off road.
Nice vlog from the summer of lockdown... where did you keep your food spares and jacket ..your pockets looked empty?
Thanks! My tools and pump are all in the SWAT storage on my diverge. Then my food and jacket is in my frame bag.
Awesome video, as always. Some of those paths are very agricultural! What tyres were you using?
Pathfinders 38mm
It's good to see you're back again. What kind of exercise routine do you do before cycling?
Thanks. It’s just a basic core and flute routine. Keeps me generally strong.
Looked like an awesome ride! How do you plan your routes?
Just on Strava and google maps. Find segments then see where other people have ridden.
Thanks Cameron. Congrats on your world championship win. Can I ask the specs on your gravel bike? Is it a specialised crux with mods or another bike? Cheers.
It’s a Specialized diverge with a sram 1x group set. Specialized 42mm pathfinder
When was this video filmed?I was just a bit confused about the old trinity jerseys
This was back last summer 👍
@cameron Mason
Do you know if the crux fits a front derailleur?
Yes
Would absolutely love to ride with you one-day
Hi, what width are your gravel tyres?
42mm
First again Holy moly
Nice 👍
What you recording with?
GoPro hero 7 and session
@@cameronmason What settings do you use? and do they change for chesty and vlog? Thanks
@@DC-uf7yx 1080 60fps in wide or superview
I am a chocoholic, but even as a kid i have never liked liquid chocolate in anyway shape or form!! Mate I would seriously throw up if i had your porridge first thing in the morning! What about this legendary myth (although I've never believed it) about the Scots having salt with their porridge??
Ah my breakfast hits the spot for me. And yes, salt in porridge is good
first😛
So close but it’s 2nd this time 😉
