What do you guys think of my new Specialized S-works Diverge?! I have some very cool things planned with this bike and they will hopefully involve some epic videos! Hope you are all doing well and you enjoy this full, in depth day in life, training, food, strength work and chill. If you have any questions then leave a comment and I will get to you. Thanks everyone for the awesome support as always ❤✌
How do you find the tyres? Look like Pathfinders? Bike looks great!
Very good so far. Nice and fast on road and grippy off road, no complaints
@@cameronmason cheers Sir 👍🏻 I've heard good reports of them. Keep up the good work.
Love it. I have the 2018 sport. What tyres and pressures are you using? Thinking of getting some kenda chollas.
I have the same bike as yours but mine isn't the S-Works model. Awesome bike, I enjoy riding the Diverge every time and always look forward to riding it again. Let's see more of your bike on RUclips.
Swimming cameron?
You can obviously ride a bike, we've seen you running, I think there's a triathlete hiding in there somewhere 😂
Suns out, buns out
An Amazing video! Keep up the hard work!😊
Super RAD video ! Interesting insights of your training day, cool shots, music and commentary. Pro job mate!
Great to see you going at it. That swim looked awesome!
Great video Cam! All those back roads and country lanes look amazing! Don’t have many of those in Southern California sadly.
Thanks for sharing your day training Cameron. 💪🏻🚴♂️💨
Looked an awesome day out man! Bet the gravel was more fun than the efforts haha.
Hands down one of your best videos.
What a great video!!!Love it.More,more,more!!!
Awesome video Cameron, love the new bike!
I've only just found your channel, but this video was top drawer! Great work Cam :D
Great video. A nice ride is even better when the roads are quiet and you can enjoy the scenery without cars whistling past.
I also suspect the Future Shock 2.0 is a huge bonus.....
Really enjoying these videos keep on going and send it!!
Great ride Cameron. Last rode up that climb out of Gargunnock (my home town) back when MTBs were rigid (gravel with a flat bar) circa 1988, its on the list to go back up it on the CX/Gravel bike.
out on the free road !!! and wee swim has well Awesome
Excelentes videos .!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🚲👍 soy ex ciclista y mecánico profesional venezolano vivo en chile y soy fans de tus videos así como de tom tuyo y del team trinity, que continúen mucho más videos ..! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👊🏻🚲🇻🇪🇨🇱
I love my Specialized Diverge!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve been doing all sorts of amazing adventure rides! Just finished a 1,000 kilometre gravel adventure in Southern British Columbia!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Great video Cam
Oh and your bike looks amazing ✌
Great training day, my favourite type of riding also..... :)
Nice video Cameron
Amazing video!!
Core and stretching routine looks good. Keep at it, it will make you stronger on the bike. Your competition hate it too... so doing it will give you an edge... the edge you need.. RJ
Top video as always. I know you hate doing it but....... it would be really good to see how you do your stretching routine and maybe some core stuff too. Cheers.
PS I still rock one of your bright green Peddle Power jerseys here in IRL
Topppppp Cammy
Gosh you packed so much into one day 😲 Bravo for doing the gym session afterwards - that takes so much commitment & drive, especially when some of your on road session work wasn’t your favourite 💪 This video really shows what it takes to be an elite racer - well done (but do you not worry about potholes & bad drivers when doing sprint intervals etc on open roads...🤔)👍🙌
Thanks Linda. I did the sprints on a very quiet back road so no cars. Kept an eye on the road for pot holes
Thanx for this inside
Omg, 🙈 you will get arrested by police swimming like that, hahaha awesome video, your training is really hard
Nice 🧡
Super, interesting workout, I had back op many years ago, and I have curved spine and hamstrings like the Forth bridge, if I sat on the floor legs out stretched a small child could crawl under my knees! " Seriously!! Plus as a result i have IT band probs, but that's because of tight hip and TFL muscles I'm sure!! I might try to copy your work out, how often do you do it, baring in mind I'm 25 years older than you!!
Did you design your new bike ?? Your tshirt is the best, stay positive ✌👏👏
Great video, looking forward to the 300km special! Guess you didn't do the core exercises after that?
Haha, not that day 😅
nice video
Awesome video Cam! Do you follow a video for your stretching and core?
I get set exercises by my coach
Hey Cameron, great video as always. I’m planning on doing a backpacking bike trip in Scotland next year. Any good website where I can find good routes?
Bikepacking.com have some good routes. Other than that it's quite difficult to find all routes in one place. The Badger Divide is a good one.
Do you listen to music or podcasts while training on the road?
Really cool video !👍 By the way, what’s your favorite pair of oakleys?🤔
I like the Sutros for sunny days as they have the best coverage. Radars for everything else
Cameron Mason alright thanks😃
Another great video. How do you get the shot of you cycling from a distance? Was somebody with you?
Thanks. I just puty camera on the ground and cycled past
Cameron Mason Ah. Fair play, that’s extra effort. Anyway you make great content. Any idea when your season might start? Would love to come and watch if you’re in my area.
I’m looking for a new Lid, how do you feel about the new helmet? Seems to hold those big arse glasses well! 😉👍 My LBS has a Diverge in my size as a Loaner bike, think I will give it a go!
I just realized how much I miss “Pops” in the background yelling “C’mon boy”! I hope he is well! 🙏
Thanks Michael. Yes, the s works helmet is very light and is a good fit on me. Good stuff, I think you will like the bike!
I am in u14s in cross and I do about 6 hours of training a week atm. I was just wondering how many hours a week you do?
Hey man. I do 20-25 hours a week. Remember, it's quality over quantity and at your age 6 hours sounds great!
19
Cameron : what is the exact model of Diverge that you have ?
'S-works Diverge'
Hey Cam what app do you use to plan your cool routes? to then upload to the Wahoo
I use Strava to plan the routes then it automatically syncs to my Wahoo Roam
have you seen your power drastically improve since starting to race the pro categories?
Yes, the biggest improvements in my power numbers have come from the last 8 months
What cyclocross/gravel bike would you recommend nothing too expensive
There are lots of good CX bikes out there, they can do both gravel and road. I'll obviously recommend a Crux because I have had really good experience with them but anything in your budget will do the job
Cameron Mason thanks cam
Outside of the specific efforts in the ride is the rest of the ride usually Z2?
Yeah, just general riding. Sometimes harder than Z2, sometimes easier
Will you be getting the new specialized epic full sus
I really hope so but I do not know yet
Hi Cameron, is that your national champ medals on the left side of your bed at 15:00?
Yep!
Have you made a video from your epic 300km ride?!❤🤟
I did film my 300km epic. Video coming next week!
When is your 300km ride coming online?!!?
What is your FTP Cameron? Hoping to improve on my 233 todat
Nice one, my 20min power at the moment is around 350w
Hey Cam are you considering to race some cross country in the future?
Yes, I will race xc mtb
Can you hear your music when your riding because me I need to put the volume at the maximum to hear something with all the wind😅
Hah, depends how fast you ride
nice, strava route?
Link in the description 👌
hi cam, do you do your efforts on flat or hills for power?
The first efforts where on rolling terrain. Sprints were on the flat
@@cameronmason thanks cam - ive just got a pm- how do you keep power on decent when doing efforts. Eg today i was doing sweetspot on a rolling road and found it hard to keep power consistent
That's just part of it. You have to keep the pressure on, use the gears and keep the power up. It's the same in a race when you are on the attack, you need to continue the power downhills.
@@cameronmason thank you
Full and perfect day Cameron. It is possible in Spanish?????? Beware Cameron
Gracias Luis. I do not know Spanish well enough to translate for subtitles, sorry
It is a bad joke. My translator and me remain faithful to your channel. It is a pleasure. A fuego.
Is it true that you only hit 1000watts in the sprint?
As you can see, I'm not made for the sprints
when you start riding any cyclocross session ?
Probably August I will start on the CX bike
Cameron Mason Thanks :)
I looked for your new bike online,108,000Sk 🙈 but that is in my money
Hi Cameron do you think you would be able to do an Everest? I say you have a go! 👍🏻
Maybe, don't know how fun it would be though!
Cameron Mason yeah probably wouldn’t be much fun whats the Cameron adventure thing about?
I Want to make cyclo-cross but in France it’s to hot in the summer
It is hot here in Scotland at the moment too. Drink lots and try and find a training area with some wind to stay cool
Cameron Mason thanks you and i find the perfect place it’s very Windy I make a little track is very cool
Hi
First comment
You look like Remco Evenepoel with the glasses on😅😂
Sainsbury baked beans lol This is simply not acceptable. hahaha Heinz only...but possibly not vegan friendly
Sainsburys baked beans are under rated, they taste GOOD
Heinz guaranteed to help recovery by 200% and add 50watts after a blowout 😂😂
Stop hating the core work and start embracing it!
That's a better attitude 👌
nice video
