Ms. Dhulipal is a treat to hear, and yes she is underselling herself apparently. Adorned with insights about life, Kafkaesque she seems, but hopefully with a peaceful end. Even her stance of sitting, reminds you of the way Matthew McConaughey spreads and owns the piece he sits on.
One of the best episodes of Son of Abish for sure. The guests were comfortable, the interview was engaging and gender identity topic was very well discussed. Kudos to the team, well done. Waiting for Season 7 because why not. :D

i can't appreciate the out of syllabus session enough!! I mean...I have been confused for about 1 year now (I'm 15) and it's been such a burden. I've abandoned theatre, overthinking at night has messed up my sleep schedule, the very thought of accepting what I am feeling feels like it would make the situation worse. I constantly discuss everything with my parents cause I need their approval, that's how I was brought up. I feel liberated and happy when those who matter to me, accept me. I don't want to be abandoned, disowned, deserted. I imagine a better life for myself somewhere peaceful. My parents understand but suggest no one would accept me as one of them unless I hide some of me. My situation gets even worse once you get to know me...I feel cutting my hair off could be the first to help me realise but m a sikh. I do not believe you need a uniform to prove your religion and this is the border, this is as far as it goes...this is all I would be allowed, that too years later. About gender...my personality is such that I cannot tell if I'm attracted to or jealous of. I know I am not what I've been assigned as by birth but I don't know what I am either
I don't know how better it got now, but I hope that day comes soon! I know for the ones who are called with their designated biological pronouns don't understand that easily, even I might not understand it but I have great respect for it. May your days ahead blossom well. Love and respect.

I am 16 now, my problems have only escalated but I have realised, to be truly happy, I will have to be truly self sufficient and that will take a lot of time. So a major part of me will continue being repressed, I can guise myself as a girl for a bit longer if it means calmer days for me. I have added to my plate, speculations of adhd and depression and I am not afraid to accept it. However, it sounds more like delusions to my parents just as my gender identity did. I am taking it step by step and stunting my growth majorly but that’s all I can afford right now. Only if god gave way, the blame would’nt be on me and an illness could solve it all, even if it comes with physical pain and near death experiences;at least I would feel more loved than ever! (For context, I’ve been hoping for breast cancer, so my hair will naturally fall off and I would technically get my top surgery with good reason, but it’s not simple either; this wishful thinking, honestly, scares me but I’ve had it since age 14 and nothing’s changed, maybe it’s the solution?)
