- The pushback has begun against the Archdiocese of Cincinnati's plan to consolidate 208 parishes into 57 parish families. One dispute made it to the Vatican.
Sign of the times. Unfortunately, the Catholic Church and particularly the Cincinnati Archdiocese has become a cold corporation, and the members are treated like chattle.
So, lower income Catholic families are the ones being penalized? Yeah, Catholic education is only for the rich. Here in California, Catholic Education (is) only for wealthier families. Its not even arguable.
It used to be Catholic churches and schools were paid for by blue collar and middle class white collar families; mostly white, urban and suburban, not the rich and certainly not the poor.
People aren't LISTENING to Mother Mary's warning at Fatima. She said PRAY the Rosary all 20 decades, all 4 Rosaries DAILY. Offer it up to have mass conversions in your area, or for the conversion of a family member or even for more religious vocations.... but people aren't DOING it, not enough anyway. Only a few old ladies and young ladies, maybe even less men are praying... we won't survive without 15 minutes of prayer everyday.
No $$$$$$$ to support them.

Just replace the leadership and bring in new.

Vey sad. Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha Catholics these days are not practicing their Catholic faiths.
Though I may accept Ur reply , let us remind ourselves that WE ARE THE CHURCH - Imagine if ISRAEL had taken that stand ...we , Catholics ARE LOOSING OUR FAITH , WE ARE TOO COMFORTABLE ON OUR MATERIAL SOCIETY - YES , SIGNS OF TIMES -too bad HOLOCAUST only happened to Jews ...😥😥😥

@@cmartinm98 the decline of faith is a great victory for humanity. Faith is a substitution for reason and logic. No civilization can survive without reason and logic. On top of it all, the Catholic Church is a criminal organization that abuses children and gets away with it. Leave the kids alone!

@@cmartinm98 Exactly. The Catholic church can be very heavy handed. I will say that many Protestant churches are also facing declining numbers.
Let us offer them our "thoughts and prayers." :) lol
