Maybe Don't Fly With Me... | Mini Airways (Minimalistic Air Traffic Control Game)

- Mini Airways is a game that sees us take on the role of an air traffic controller and manage a lot of aeroplanes. So yes, me, managing lots of things, with the potential for disaster... you know how this goes...
We begin in London and use the minimalist interface to direct planes to land at our airport. All we have to do is click and drag, which is nice and simple, but soon things get a bit complicated when the skies get a bit more crowded.
As well as navigating incoming planes TO our runway, we have to help planes go OUT from the runway to a specific waypoint on the map. This can make things a little bit complicated when there are inbound and outbound planes trying to use the runway at the same time!
As we play we're able to pick up bonuses, such as a bigger waiting area for our outbound planes or the ability for the planes to turn a little more sharply. The more planes we successfully help land or depart means we're able to unlock other airports, each with their own challenges.
Some airports have multiple runways, one has runways that cross over in three places and another has a lot of mountains we have to avoid...
So expect confusion, disorganisation and perhaps a few little aeronautical incidents...

Mini Airways is a real-time management game with an air traffic control theme. You will play as a busy air traffic controller in the game: directing planes to take off and land, clearing air traffic, upgrading airspace ...... And most of all, don't let them crash!
Fast-paced, real-time ATC gameplay: Manage airspace, clear planes for takeoff and landing, and avoid near misses! In addition to the normal arrangement of takeoffs and landings, you also need to face the challenges of mountains, no-fly zones, and peak landing hours, so please concentrate!
Every time you finish one day's management, you will be able to pick an upgrade for your airspace and airport: auto holding, accelerating turns, increasing airspace, waypoints ...... upgrade and customize airports to keep flights running more smoothly.
Test your skills in iconic locations like London, Tokyo, San Francisco, Amsterdam, and 15 other new maps!
Encounter unexpected events like the Hudson River Miracle, Air Force One, VIP flights, and handle them.
Choose from Casual, Hardcore, or Sandbox modes based on your preference.
Currently support altitude mods (check it out on our Discord community).

Was fun to watch! With the waypoints, you could put one under the mountains to more easily skirt planes around them. Also, the "exit" upgrade was the one that sounded like it allowed you to pick a plane later in the queue to take off earlier.
Ah! This is exactly the same as a game from the late 1990s that I played on my phone. This one just has the addition of planes also taking off, and the upgrades. The phone app simply got faster and more planes until you lost. I loved that game!
Well, you convinced me to give the demo a try. I suspect it'll stress me out a bit, but I do love a good challenge.
Hopefully there will be less sky-based carnage.
@@TheGeekCupboard Welllll, I don't know that I can promise less, but I'll try.
And this is why I don't fly... Lol. Penge another great video
but I'm still not flying.
to make you feel better, ATC selection is incredibly competitive. Some countries only allow military to handle it. Some, like in mine, had such a rigorous process it required applicants to have a bachelor's degree before applying, and evaluations frequently require 0 mistakes to move on to the next.
Overall a very interesting job but I wouldn't risk my mental health for it even if I loved planes
If the employer forces you to work 7 days a week, what follows is on them! :)
7 days of just landing planes i think issues would come up by that time.
Only thing better than penge being the air traffic controller is Penge being the pilot of the plane. What could ever go wrong? Right?
did most of it in the demo, now only London city
Hi second ❤
