Now I heard it’s grown quite a lot. I believe in some ways it has lost its unique magic of being a cute little city at the Margalla foothills
@imham984 It's a pleasure to be able to provide some information about Islamabad to you 😊. Islamabad must have been a small city at the foothills of Margalla back then. Although it has expanded to a big city but you can still get the feel of Old Islamabad in some sectors like G-5, G-6,F-5,F-6, F-7 & E-7
@@roadsclouds yes I agree. In many ways it’s still the same. Just more sectors more people. I have seen the time when f 8 was like a frontier western town haha
Many outsiders have come to Islamabad over the past 10 years and somehow they are not like the real locals who were born here . I wish they go back and the serenity of my city remains the same forever.
Who are the locals? Don't forget that the father or forefathers of these locals were outsiders too

@@roadsclouds thank you. I was student at QAU in 80s. Everything seems to have changed. More buildings. More people. University buses look similar. I am not sure I saw the main university buildings eg library block etc. also we used to go via aabpara road straight and turn left, pass by Australian embassy and then turn right for the university. Maybe diplomatic enclave area is closed for security ?
