This dude is top tier. Been making parts for like two decades and style aging so naturally. Ran into him in NY several times and he was always super kind. Told me to be gentle on myself when some things were going south. Will always remember that.

After seeing the switch tre and back nose blunt back-to-back I couldn't figure out if he was regular or goofy. Had to go back and watch a bunch of the video to figure it out. The crazy thing is how much of the video I had to watch to come to a decision.
Wow!!! What a part!!! This made me want to skate! Unfortunately I can’t anymore but man this really made me think about my skateboarding days. It had a nostalgic vibe from the song , the video editing and the skating. 10/10 fuckin amazing skate part 💪🏽

I feel as though he gets look over at times and maybe that's by design. And when he puts out his 1-2 sometimes 3 parts each year / he reminds us just how fk'n good his skating is.... Seeing this you can’t deny Gillette is in that small percentage of pro skateboarders that make you feel skateboarding, watching this is clear that skateboarding is not a sport, it’s not something you can put a tag or a score on it. It remembers me why I started and why I still love it 34 years after.
His style reminds me of Andy schrock really good and smooth. I think Andy schrock is just a little better and more technical. 💯

I think a better way of building a more complex and dynamic society is from the bottom up, redistributing political power through a more robust democracy.
@eliasmontanez There is literally nothing wrong with the USA's current system. Besides the exact same thing that would ruin the one you are talking about. The problem isn't the system.
The system is very good at limiting corruption and power abuse. But the fact that most citizens are dumb and ignorant. Kind of easy for people to manipulate them into whatever they want.
Take the USA democrats party. They were the plantation owners, started the KKK and are still pushing race based policies. Yet they have convinced a good chunk of the USA into believing that their opponents are the racist ones.
How did they do that? Used ignorance of not only their believers but their opponents' ignorance to lead that narrative.

I thought this was a chill part. Apart from those two last tricks I still think he could go harder, not that he needs to. The ss Tre was nutty too bad the angle and filming on it did not do it justice. would've deserved another angle too.
Alright, so we're gonna zoom in close enough so that we either cut off the skater's head or we almost miss the trick altogether, sound good? I absolutely hate this trend in skate filming.
