Skiing at Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks in 2024! In this video we take several laps off the gondola and Whiteface's new lift 'The Notch'.
Whiteface Ski Area is located near Lake Placid, New York, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. The area, including Whiteface Ski Area, hosted the 1980 Winter Olympics.
This video was recorded on Jan. 11, 2024. It was my 45th ski day of the season.

From the Plattsburgh area here, about 50 min away from Whiteface …. Taking my 13 year old to Whiteface soon. We’ve skied lots at Titus and I have skied many times at Whiteface but not in many many years now …. Looking for warmer days to avoid as much ice as possible … You know the mountain is nicknamed, IceFace, I’m sure!
