My boyfriend was getting benefits for about 4 months when covid started and all of a sudden he was put on hold or "under review" since september of 2020. Hes been waiting calling everyday cannot get any help. He was finally approved again but hasn't received any backpay from the time he was under review which was 7 or 8 months. Where do I tell my unemployment story where I was approved and then denied due to the waiting week that is supposed to be waived if it is Covid related. My name is Janice Chambers. I have been working this since June. My company mandated we take weeks off without pay. Most of the people I work with got their money but not me for some reason. I applied June 10 was pending for 2 months then was denied Aug 11 now I'm waiting for a appeal. Still waiting. Was told I'm getting a appeal between Sept 9-24.
