I have lost my 30+ pages long notes. I love this app. This app is awesome not doubt. I uninstalled this app cause I was out of space and after when I reinstalled it everything was gone. I really need some help. Those notes were really really important. Please help me out guys. 🙏
@@shreya7290 When you delete the app, a big warning comes up that all data that is not backed up in the iCloud or in a backup folder will be deleted as well ...this is the case with every app. It's different if you only delete notes in the app, they end up in the trash first.

@@shreya7290 If you want more space for CollaNote, you shouldn't delete it.
If the "use iCloud as home folder" option is activated before deleting, after reinstalling, all your notes will be there again.
But you said they are not there, that means you saved your notes on your devices, deleting the app will delete all data of the app on your device.
There is a warning when you delete any app: "Deleting this app will also delete its data", I'm sorry that you didn't read it.

Downloaded yesterday and have been playing with it…so far so good, so thank you for showing us, K! By the way in the Appstore it says the app was developed by a student in the Hamburg University, which happens to be the city where I live! So even better! 🤗❤️❤️

Any idea how to delete a bunch of pages of together in collanotes
For all the people asking if u can save ur notes and share it as pdf:
On the top left (the three horizontal lines) -> scroll down a little there u have the option of share/export -> print as pdf-> select ur page range and save it in your cloud space or mail it directly from there.

Hey, i've used Collanote for 2+ weeks in Highschool and there are no things i can't do that everyone else does with Goodnotes. But two things inconvinience me: First, i get texts and worksheets in some classes as PDFs via airdrop and i haven't found a way to put them into notes, only folders. Second, i have to scan a lot of papers, often multiple at once. So you scan, you crop and then you import your scans. But they're not separate pages but pictures that get dumped into your note. So you have to sort them, drag them and then pull them in your desired orientation, size and everything. Both these things just take more time, the second more than the first, and are a bit annoying. But if these are not issues you expect, this is what you want.

I really like this app which it's so cute and convenient but I have some queries as following.
1 Can we open multi note/pdf and show it on screen at the same time?
2 How to crop/copy some information from PDF file and paste in collanote?
3 Is there any feature to write on screen?
The one thing I wish CollaNote did was instead of just textbox if they allowed us to just type like notability does.
The recording function does not pair with the text boxes and typing is the fastest way to take notes

I don’t know if there was an update for the app but you can use links in pdf files now.. I mainly use this for digital planning and its so convenient
Have you noticed the text option working correctly? When I use it, it cuts the text off and I can't read it all

@@anyla333 it is! You can search any word in your note or PDF by sliding a bit from left, which will open a pop up box. In there, go to the last option, the magnifying glass and you can type or write in the word you want to search

Hi! Does this app have unlimited storage? As in I can just make notes and make notes or import large-sized pdfs like books?

Does anyone know if there is a search/aka find and replace option that searches within the document as opposed to giving you a list of every document that has that word in it without telling you where it is? I would like to create a large text file, but I need to be able to find words within that single file. Hope that makes sense.😅
This app seems to really geared to just writing notes. Even though you ca do text boxes, I find I’d limited. Also I could seem to find a way to search
Through all notebooks that have text box text.. great for writing but not for those who want text that is typed in. No way to search the text

When I try to download my notes from collanote to my IPad’s files. My notes show up as a blank, idk how I can fix that issue.
How to type texts in it? Is it only for drawing and writing? I know there must be somekind of option to type letters but i can't find it. Need help.

Nope. I just checked. It doesnt support multi-instance either yet.

How to import a pdf file in an existing note. Goodnotes allows it directly to add pdf files as next page in existing note. Does this allow.

I can't find the option to select the text from pdf... Looks like it kills this app...
The text box now comes up on the screen, what I don't like is that whatever text I type in the box gets cut off so I don't use it, I use the pencil feature instead.

Yes, CollaNote has a scanner - either scan a document, or just the text of the document, or scan the text from the image directly in the app ...

I recommend reaching out to the developer. Not sure why it doesnt sync for you - might be a bug!

Yep, I mention in the video that there is not current support for hyperlinks. This is a feature the developer is hoping to implement in the future. I recommend using the request a feature button within the app or visit the subreddit for CollaNote to chat with those behind the app!

In the settings with the three dots in the corner it says "use icloud folder as home folder" make sure to set that as on, on your phone and iPad. it'll sync on wifi automatically.

It's just an app in the App Store. Head to the App Store on your iPad and search CollaNote.

I am using a pen that is not an iPad pen. It works in goodnote, notability,etc but not on colNote any idea on how to use it
