yes and no, kevin would have gotten them a lot of sales, but what they wanted was a strategic partner for supply chain mapping. outside of marketing, barbara and kevin weren't really looking to add value in that regard. Plus they seemed to want to avoid royalties

A matter of fact, learning through experience is a great characteristic of an entrepreneur. A risk taker. Reading books however gives you an insight on entrepreneurial mistakes of other people. Reducing the risks and casualties. But all in all its up to your preferences😊
@@Anapaumedia I have actual experience too. Ive created businesses both ways. Your probability of success dramatically increases with the more you know. The world is too complex to solely rely on trial and error and be successful. Now maybe a little bs business you could get away with trial and error but not with building a businiess of any substantial size and impact. No way. To call reading "procrastinating" youre lying your a** off.

it's crazy, even tho fast food is expensive and a big mac meal is $10-15 depending on location, it's still cheaper than healthy options. these cookies are 29.99 for 10

people need to understand what royalty in perpetuity means. when he gives you cash and its stractured with a royalty on in until money is is recouped its basicly a loan but not puting a cap on how much the royalty will go is basicly a loan with infinite intrest rate it will basicly delute your buissnes out of cashflow specialy when the ask for equity. god bless you all and your families 🤲
I think the word "royalty" scared them off, that's why they excluded Kevin (who usually asks for royalties) right off the bat. Then they try to get a deal with anyone else without the royalty. Clearly, Kevin put forward the best deal here, what a pity :/

So many stupid food products. Literally the hardest and most competitive market to even ATTEMPT to enter. The pitched food products are always way overpriced too.
Probably wouldn’t choose someone who meets me in the middle by giving me a substantially worse deal. He probably didn’t even realize it was a worse deal which further helps my case. I’d choose one of the other sharks after that.
I think they should be given at least a few minutes to consider the offers and discuss them among themselves. It should be somewhere no one can hear. Because they are pressured to make hasty decisions.

I knew they would listen to the smooth voice. Why couldn't they go a bank? Half the time they were sold out. Why wouldn't a bank give them a line of credit? To get someone to offer 700 million for the company they would probably have to sell 200 m of sales a year wouldn't they? Sharks talk about getting to 50m and it's difficult. If Nui isn't a household name I don't believe they will get 700 million for that company. The shark got a good cash cow for a long time. They just heard 300 k .
