@@shreeanshmahapatra2313 I mean you can kind of tell why for the both of them. Their kits are just so pro-skewed that they can never be reasonably tuned for the average player.
Okay, but guess what? Current Zeri is nothing like original Zeri.
Back then, Zeri could:
1. Buy full bruiser items (triforce, cleaver, titanic that kinda shit)
2. Steal shields (literally attack enemy with shield to shield herself) then gained MS whenever she received a shield (10% so a lot of MS actually)
3. Gain infinite ramping MS during R (made her almost impossible to shake in fights)
4. Apply onhit multiple times with 1 Q
Zeri is a completely different champ now.

@@definitelynotryanhardt i'm glad someone in this comment section has a brain. they completely gutted zeri and forced her to have the adc playstyle, instead of letting her be unique. she is forced to build crit because riot doesn't know what they're doing

@@nicoaraeduard3317yone doesn't deal true damage as (ignoring armor). It does post mitigated damage(true damage) after calculating armor and mr with his E so that it doesn't double dip into Resistances. So it counts your armor and mr, stop yapping
@@nicoaraeduard3317 2 easy to dodge cc, can be stunlocked or oneshot on E cause he doesnt disappear from the map, and until 3 items has no dps and gets killed by every dps cham cause no lethal tempo, only good thing is trading with E, so yeah farming bot like kayle, knock of assasin with no guaranteed burst, that comes online min 30 at 5 items

Yone is nowhere as broken as reddit makes him to be but he is still a shit design. Way too much cc for the dmg he has, his W is one of the most bs spells in the game and Aribo made a great point about him essentially having a free zhonya on E on top of E being really strong offensively already.
Some of the champions that guy in the video said were problem in some specific time
Yone - Lethal tempo
Pyke - E->Prowlers claw - Almost undodgeable stun
Zeri - Bruiser/tank builds, Hard to ballance most of the time she was useless or overpowered
Well something can be weak and badly designed. Illoai was the list, not because she was strong but how much her entire kit revolves around her E
I mean, isnt that the point? Each of their kits were so unfair that they had to either make their stats so low that they are borderline uselss (espcially in lower elo) so only one tricks or super high elo players can play them (remember that this is an online game and that by doing this, you are alienating like 98% of the player base), or they had to remove something fundemental about their kits for while. Most of them (expcept Illaoi) was just about how they tried to stuff the best parts of multiple playstyles into one character and be suprised when they are op. (Ksate- a tank with multiple dashes, Zeri the damage and ramp of a hyper carry with too much mobility, etc).
Vars is like that one wojak meme pointing at literally everything riot does

the current version of zeri is nothing like the old one like what are we even saying at this point? she has reasonable range, she doesnt work with enchanters like she used to, her scaling is not top 5 in the role and her ult cant stack. we just hate the champ for the sake of hating the champ at this point arent we

Im guessing it added to ranged champions being her bane while melee champions not having counterplay. Its really stupid decision whatever the reason
The reason they cited is because it misled players, oftentimes it was way worse to fight her and led bad players to take poor engagments thinking it was "counterplay"

If Illaoi was made in 2024 she wouldnt be on the list, she was made long enough ago that her kit isnt overloaded so her being volatile has to be compensated by her damage when she does well. By that logic a champion like akshan would be considered badly designed but he has the res and gold from scoundrels to make up for it so hes not always useless when behind

Nah, it's really depend on playstyle. Yone W and E is absolutely disgusting op that most Yone player didn't abuse that much. Especially E, it's one of the best wave control tool in game.
If they do, Yone can be pretty disgusting like Singed or Bauss Sion. I try it and it's work every time, even my Yone skill play is absolutely shit, most toplaner has no chance win my Yone by themselves (although I usually can't win them as well)

@@damnmanstopmaldinglol6028 its an aoe damaging spell that deals mixed max health damage that also grants a shield bonus per champion hit and even scales with AD meaning he gets harder to kill for building damage. its as bullshit as riven E

Vars can have some bad takes but all of the champs he named either are or were pretty badly designed.
Pyke solo lane got nerfed because a rioter got clapped by a pyke mid. A champ being viable on multiple role is a proof of good design, not bad design.
But for Pyke thats not true, he was designed solely to be playable only as support. By going solo lane, gathering exp and farming gold (which he cant actually do btw) he either becomes the strongest and most obnoxious unit in the game getting pentakills off ult cd, or gets bullied to hlle and cant farm even under his own turret even when alone

Ok then have your champ be so versatile it can go 3+ roles and eventually they pick him in pro and gets the guillotine treatment.
There's a reason champs get forced to go 1 role, being actually good in 2 is a privilege.

Hate this constant crying of riot and league players about champs being played offrole. So what if pyke who was designed as a support can be played mid? It's like riot is throwing a tantrum "you're gonna play my game how i wanted it to be played!!!!" and proceeds to nerf every time there's a meta like pyke mid. So fking boring.
It's not that, honestly if Pyke's money printing on ult didn't work (its nerfed before he almost doubled gold) I would love to see him mid! But the problem was that he could just give up the lane and just roam for ults to expand leads by the aforementioned gold generation from his ult AND kill the enemy laners so his team could benefit from tower plates/exp leads. He was basically Janna top but less gimmicky, because unlike janna top you still had a midlaner since he's an assassin.
@@FrozenSpaceYT You had to always build tiamat first on pyke mid when it had its active. Obviously so you could push mid and roam. Doesnt sound very unusual does it? Forgetting lane and roaming still exists and always existed, it's just a playstyle at this point. Pyke just excelled at it, like talon and kata, and so what? Champs excel at different things. Pykes lvl 1 was also strong af, e + HoB was 60% of ur hp everytime, it's not like you always had to forget lane and roam, winning lane was not unusual. The only thing that was not ok was his regen from passive combined with runes and items.
@@duckyduck8482Pushing lane and roaming is normal. Completely ignoring mid lane at times to run around in Invis isn’t normal at all. And if any other mid assassin did the same thing if the roam didn’t work out they would be behind so much gold and exp that they are damn near useless for the rest of the game without a shutdown. Pyke Ult gold negated a lot of that.
