Outstanding you guys!!!
This video made my night!!
Ha ha this is the best luv goofy and max that little girl is so cute lol
Wonderful contribution, Mr. Marsden! Made my night as a 90s kid.
Jason, you did a great job!
this is even funnier than the original! lmfao
Jason Marsden is 47 and is yet somehow amazing to act like a teen. Amazing!
That's the magic of VA's for ya!
Bill Farmer is 70 and he still looks and sounds great. Stay goofy, Bill!
Dude has aged so well too
@@The_Danmeister_ Agree
He basically just looks like a really tired teenager lol
Jason being older now gives this scene a whole other context. Now it’s the story of an elderly man trying to reconnect with his adult son over memories from the sons childhood. It makes it feel like the park hasn’t been updated in 30 years.
It hadn't been updated in thirty years, thirty years ago lol
Would make a good sequel
Max could've been a grandpa himself by now
A sequel with Max and Roxanne having a kid would be awesome. Max takes his son to spend time with his Grandpa Goofy and they end up on a wild adventure
@@darkhistory1436 Speaking of Goofy being a grandpa, ironically, in Goofy's debut cartoon "Mickey's Revue" (1932), he was originally an old grandpa named Dippy Dawg before they de-aged him to a younger adult in his second appearance in the Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Whopee Party" (1932).
In the House of Mouse episode "Goofy's Menu Magic", the Dippy Dawg character from "Mickey's Revue" appears to have been retconned as Goofy's dad (a.k.a. Max's grandpa)
They actually have a legit voice actor of the characters, accurate looking scenes and great acting that didn't look forced. this deserve more attention
This!!!! The acting was so on point ✨
I liked your comment because it was good but also to get it off of that evil number lol
They did so good. I really thought they were making a live action movie of it😅😢 #ItWouldBeBetterThanLionKing!
Agreed 💯 percent
This is less than five minutes and is already better than about 98% of Disney's live action remakes.
A real shame that it couldn’t have gone longer. Would’ve loved to see the giant Lester mascot.
Max: My life a living H-
Lester Mascot: HELLO LITTLE BUDDY! Who’s your favor possum?
Max: Don’t touch me.
Lester Mascot: Awww, why the long face? You’re so sad…. (crys) I KNOW! You need a big hug from Lester!
Max: Don’t even think about I- (Lester squeezes Max as he struggles)
Lester: There, now you feel all good inside!
That little girl did such a great job!
Just like the little girl in the movie & Jason fakes a smile at her too.
@@lilyemmalindsay9025 1:17 me too.
I’ve been defending this movie, and playing it for people forever. I was amazed when you did the live version of after today. But with the voice actors, this is unbelievable.
The songs from Powerline alone is enough to catch anyone in the Goofy Movie net~
@@antman0719what, why would you have to defend it?
@@OdaKa people have pre-concieved opinions before seeing anything sometimes based off of a main character or title~
How could the children be voice actors tho? They weren't even alive back then lol😅
It’s better than I thought it was. Honestly it was the first scene with Pete and then the scene with the principal saying Max would end up in the electric chair that really turned me off to the film for many years. I relayed much more with Turning Red in terms of growing up
The fact that you guys actually got Bill Farmer, Jason Marsden, and Kevin Lima to do this live action recreation of a scene from A Goofy Movie (1995) makes it more awesome and cool to watch. 👍👍
Are Jadon and Bill friends outside of voice acting or acting?
@@BlackieFoxxless I don't know, actually.
Bill and Jason are so good together...they have great chemistry.
It’s crazy how well the goofy movie holds up to this day. One of my favorite movies from Disney
And it seems to get better the more I age. As a kid I related to Max but as I get older I find myself siding with Goofy more. 😄
I like how Jason looks when he says, "This is pathetic." & faking a smile to the little girl. I know it's just a recording from the movie.
It’s amazing. This movie was a write off and not expected to be anything when it was released and was basically a contractual obligation and yet it is amassed such a big fan base almost 30 years later that it’s unfathomable.
There are no words to describe how much I love this incredible live-action remake! I already loved the first one you did for "After Today" but the fact that you got the real Goofy and Max themselves, Bill Farmer and Jason Marsden, to take part in this is beyond mind-blowing! I could watch it over and over again. Well done to everyone involved in the making of this fantastic video!
Thanks Simon! It was a long road from After Today to Lester's and getting Bill and Jason was just the icing on the cake (well maybe I should say they were the cake that we could put icing on). Anyway, you're awesome! Thanks!
I wish they could have done more (like do the scene where Max is all, "My life's a living....", "Hello, little buddy.".), because this is amazing.
@@osmanyousif7849 What they’re were to make a video of Voice of goofy and max chasing the car 🚗?
@@osmanyousif7849 Same lol.
Ted Sowards, Can you do On the Open Road, and Nobody Else But You Live Action Please?
Look, James Marsden and Bill Farmer are playing their parts amazingly but the little girl having fun clapping is just perfect. Its exactly what you expect how a kid like this would react. clapping and just making noise.
Disney, you better start opening more job applications because the folks behind this masterpiece could actually produce good remakes. This was AWESOME!
👏Amen
Wow! Thank you! It'd be fun to work for Disney. Well, I'd love to make my own stuff with heir properties and they pay me for it. Haha.
My brother is really good at Rubik's cubes. Your videos are amazing. Inspires me to try.
@@tedsowards Oh really?! That’s so nice! It’s very fun!
Disney has become a Heartless at this point.
@@smb-c3po No it hasn't.
I just went to Disneyland with my mom and Stand Out was playing faintly in the background in Toon Town. I think I was the only one who recognized it. This movie is so underrated. It’s truly a classic. Thank you for recreating this scene. I hope to see more.
Wow! 100+ likes. 🤩 Thank you all!
"Only the greatest rock star on the planet!!... Powerline!!??"
I would be 100% singing it out loud to the people around me. I'm not even that type of person, but that song really does something to me...
I really love how Bill Farmer and Jason Marsden really sells this.
Edit: Over 200 likes? I didn't expect this. Thanks.
Me too.
The two have been playing the characters for years, they're in their DNA.
Jason Marsden and Bill Farmer they still got it.
It's been years, but everyone said their lines like it was riding a bike. And they look like they're having ah hyuck of a good time!
Oh my gosh they got the actual voice actors of BOTH Max and Goofy! AAAAAAHHHHH! I'M GEEKING OUT! EEP! :)
Right?!?! We were blown away they came to Phoenix. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to achieve anything so cool again.
@@tedsowards can you do eye to eye .
@@Maimuna23458 if we found someone with the cosplay and the moves then definitely!!!
@@tedsowards what about the singer who voice powerline in the. Movie tevin camball.
@@Maimuna23458 he would be epic. I wonder if he’d be willing
Can't believe this was Pat Buttrams final Disney voice over work before he passed away he was so committed ever since working for and meeting Walt Disney when he was still alive and even after his death. R.I.P.
I literally howled seeing Bill and Jason replaying this scene (and somehow, despite years of loving this movie, Jason's facial expressions are even better than Max's............but that's "Real" for ya)
It's awesome that you guys got the original voice actors from the original movie. It's amazing how such a movie like Goofy movie has become such a cold classic and the Disney lore
Honored to be a part of this! ❤️

*Bill Farmer still rocks being Goofy, even in person 😂*
This is so well done. We need a full length, live action Goofy sequel with Kellie Martin back as Roxanne.
That would be so fun!
@@tedsowards I would pay money to make that happen. I don’t have anywhere near enough, but a down payment is fine. LOL. But it would be a PG-13 version. Nothing gross, just a little edgy. Like the 90s at its best.
The movie could be called “A Goofy Reunion”
Awww, Kellie Martin! She was the cutest back then.
This scene feels infinitely more realistic when done this way, and feels like how one would feel when your folks take you to THAT place that makes you feel infinite cringe on the inside but you go anyways to not make them upset or sad so they can enjoy themselves.
lol. That me with the Tiki Room.
Can't stand the damn place since the 90's, but my mom absolutely adores it.
Brings a tear to my eye! Love to see a favorite scene brought back!
Oh my. A decent Disney live action movie, so they do exist.
Of course it does
This is one of my favorite scenes in the movie. I remember the first time I ever saw it, I was laughing so hard I was crying.
1:32 funniest part of this scene 😂
The host for the Lester's Possum Park animatronic band just DOES NOT CARE that ANYONE is there! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome job!!
Thanks Dre!
I will need to check out your hair styling videos. They look like advice I’m needing. 😄
AMAZING! Every detail was there 😍 If only we got to see Max slap Lester 😂
BEAT IT DOOFUS
I was hoping for that too.
I would loved to have made that!
"My life's a living H---"
"Hello, little buddy! Who's your favorite possum?"
“Don’t Touch Me.”
It was pretty cool to see my favorite pa and son dual in real life reenacting it. Thanks a ton for pulling off the logistics to get this done!!
Awesome, Ted!!!!
Thanks Matt!
@@tedsowards You are welcome!
This is what live action needs to be lol, this was great, that little girl with the glasses was a spot on real life take of her
I have to admit
She looks pretty adorable in real life
I met Bill farmer, he comes to my college campus every year to speak to students and he is such a genuine and warm person.
Really shows how sweet and innocent Goofy is.
I would pay a ridiculous amount of money for a full movie version of this. Like. This is so incredibly amazing you guys.
Also, weird random thing. The malfunctioning opossum always freaked me out, especially when he starts spazzing at the end. Lol
OMG this was just amazing! To see the original cast was so cool! Especially the voice actor who does Max, he's done so many shows as a voiceover. I haven't seen him acting in person for disney, gosh, I want to say since boy meets world. Thanks for creating this guys, it was good to see and I love your work!
Thanks Danni! Glad you enjoyed it!
Even in his 40s he’s still got it.
Woah classic scene getting the live action treatment, I gotta see this
The possum park sketch is one that will stick in my mind forever. The 3 act joke of Mordecai obviously malfunctioning at first, then awkwardly dancing (vibrating) during the yodeling hints that it is still malfunctioning, finally, it goes into turbo mode after the host "fixes the problem" when Lester begins to malfunction is the peak of comedy and nobody can tell me otherwise
That was really well made!! Great job. Also, Jason Marsden reminded me of Michael J. Fox. In fact, he can easily play Marty McFly! Again, great job you guys!
It be fun to see Jason play Marty McFly! Thanks for sharing.
James it's James stop saying jason
You're thinking of the wrong person. There's a James Marsden and there's a Jason Marsden. Not related.
1:40 Max: KILL ME, NOW !
😆 😅
"My life is a living..."
"HELLO LITTLE BUDDY!"
WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE POSSUM?!!
DON’T TOUCH ME😡
OMG, this is amazing! I actually met Bill Farmer at Planet Comicon, and he said "A Goofy Movie" was his favorite Goofy project he'd ever worked on. ^^
I'M SCREAMING!!!! THIS IS SO GREAT!!! I never knew I needed this in my life!! Now I need to rewatch a Goofy Movie again!!! Thanks so much for making my entire night!!!
Discovering this now! I’m flabbergasted by it. You guys did such a great job to bring back that nostalgic factor. This needs millions of views!
Thank you! Please share it so we can eventually get to the million views. Right now we are at the mercy of the RUclips Al mighty algorithm. If it doesn’t decide to share it, then no one sees it.

Thanks Gavin! Share it where you can. Thanks.
@@tedsowards You're welcome.
1:53 LOOK AT THE PUPPET ON THE FAR RIGHT! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!😂
I watched it several times because I wanted to see all the detail you put into it! Amazing Ted! This is fantastic!
The movie perfectly portrays the way life is now, your folks dragging you to see cheap entertainment and lying to them just to be able to see a concert.
This is my favorite Disney movie of ALL TIME and this is my favorite scene from the movie. Thank you for the amazing content!
All man thanks for making this! This put a smile on my face. I appreciate the actors for returning for this short vid for us fans. I could watch a whole live action of these guys!
Even in real life, I thought they were father and son for a second.
They sure acted like it. They seemed best friends.
Bill is old enough to be Jason's dad
the amount of dedication put into this is remarkable, especially when you're doing it for love and not for money either
major major props to you guys
Seriously, we spent a few thousand dollars on this project (mainly on flying people to Phoenix) but because Disney owns the song, we don’t earn a dime off of it. It’s me, my brothers, and their wives that work on it and it truly gave us a memorable experience that we will talk about the rest of our lives. All for the same cost of a vacation. So I look at it as money we’ll spent. 😀
Oh my every moment is spot on!!!
120% id watch a whole live action if it was made like this 😂
Ted you guys are awesome. And you amazing voice actors still have it.
Better than most of Disney's remakes.
Lester's has never been in better condition! Loved this.
Thanks Brian! That means a lot.
Both Goofy movies truly were my favorites as a kid cause like many of us. We rooted for max. Now that we’re older and showing these movies to our kids we’re on the other side as adults and parents and can come to understand Goofy’s side as well. And then you watch them again and see both sides. It’s beautiful to see. These truly are classics in my book. That’s just me
No way!
That is so awesome!
I can't believe you got Bill and James recreated that scene together from A Goofy Movie in live action.
It's cool to see them physically portray to characters and the scene in real life. 😃
@@tedsowards I can totally tell the chemistry was there just like their characters.
So I got to give special props for you guys to contact them to be a part of this project.
You guys absolutely deserve the credit! 👏
his name is Jason
Actually there is an actor named James marsden same last name has Jason but no relation but they are friends
This was a lot of fun to watch. Does anyone else find Lester's Possum Park kind of charming? Like, in its own unique way? I do. It has the feeling of being one of those lesser known attractions that you'd come across on the open road. The kind that just has an atmosphere that stands out above the crowd. I know not many will see eye to eye with me, but I think Lester's Possum Park is kind of cool.
The casting in this is amazing, Idk why I’m surprised, but I wasn’t expecting Bill Farmer & Jason Marsden to match their characters so well
saw this movie when it came out, and let me tell you, almost 30 years later.. and Mordecai malfunctioning still cracks me up to this day 😭😭😂😂😂
I saw the BTS on JP and beyond, so hyped!
Fantastic
Me too!
And you caught it on the first day! Good for you. :)
That's amazing! The fact it's parallel to the actual movie makes it special since not all reenactments tend to stay faithful. I laughed too much at the annoying girl, the actress did an amazing job.
It makes me wish it was longer, or covered more scenes from the movie. To be honest, this is how Disney should make remakes/live-actions.
It's awesome that you not only got Jason and Bill, but also the movie's director Kevin Lima in this. The fact that they all wanted to participate means not only that they loved A Goofy Movie, but also that they loved your previous live-action video.
I’ve watched the goofy movie ever since I was 5 (I’m 18 now) and this has made my day! Thank you for everything you guys have done ❤
This just made me SO happy!!
I wish it were longer 😍😍
Me too. We didn't have a budget so we did what we could. It would have been amazing to make the Lester's suit and have him slap the face around! Maybe someday in my dreams.
This was amazing and so many years after the movie came out. I loved this movie! Watched it so many times when I was a wee lad.
This looks so good! The effects are on point!
This is the greatest piece of film ever created.
This is INCREDIBLE! The effects, the cameos, the fact it’s “Goofy movie” (Which is an instant win), just really amazing work! Ps, I’ve loved your “After today” video for years 👍🏻
Thank you so much 😄
@@tedsowards You are more than welcome 😊
This is proof they should make this into a live action movie.
Super excited to see this!
I just realized that the thumbnail looks like it's the whole movie. It's just the indoor scenes from when they're at Lester's Possum Park. I know you'll enjoy it anyway.
This is how Disney movies are made today ironically just replay cartoon as live action
(Sigh)My life is a living..Hello little buddy
Who’s your favorite possum?
Don’t touch me!
Why such a long face? Your so sad 😭
I know you need a big hug from Lester!
Don’t even think about it!
(Hugs Max)See you feel all good inside?
(Slaps Lester)
BEAT IT DOOFUS!!!
I really want a live action goofy movie now lol. It'd just even funnier as a carbon copy with all the same voices when they've all aged and bringing the goofy cartoon people energy to real people acting the same way. Would LOVE that movie! That would be a live action done right in a comical way
This is a blessing for everyone to see! Y’all did a great job on this video! 💕
LOVE THIS! So cool that you guys were able to get Bill and Jason to reenact this scene!
Amazing job as always! I’m looking forward to more collabs
My childhood 😭😭😭 why didn't i search for this sooner?
Stoked!
This movie has probably the most 90’s nostalgia than any other animated film in the 90’s. I was born in 1992 and I’m a proud 90’s baby. And I love the music from this movie that I blast in my car. Especially when driving by kids of of this generation with the music blasting and windows down letting them know how awesome being a 90’s kid was. We had the Taco Bell Chihuahua, McDonald’s Super Size, Blockbuster, and even A Goofy Movie!
I thought that was Hal Sparks from Queer as Folk and Dude, Where's my Car?
Zaltan!😂❤
Y’all have no business bringing my childhood to life like this. I watched this movie non stop growing up. How dare you?
Check out our other goofy movie remake After Today!
I’m astoundTED on how good this turned out. Well done!
I'm your 4th subscriber!
Love this! And to see some of the real voice actors was amazing!
1:07 Goofy/Bill Farmer is missing an arm!
The fact you were able to get the original little glasses girl to play her same role is amazing!! Ask her what aging cream she uses!!
Haha. That’d would have been epic. Although I did look up the girl who voices her. I wonder if she would have been willing to come to Phoenix.

How come this hasn't become a small attraction at Disney World!?
This movie was a staple in my childhood. So glad to see it get a resurgence of love in recent years. Now where's my Powerline vinyl?
No way!!! Total nostalgia right there! Great job!!!
Note: What always confused me after the introductions was how it seemed Mordecai was talking to Lester saying if everyone was ready for yodeling. But then Lester mentioned 'Beuford' the tall animatronic. I always wondered if it was a malfunctioning error... or it was actually Beuford who said that line the entire time.
Haha. Even though I’ve been working on this for months I only noticed that the other day.
I think it was a malfunctioning error considering how old and run down the attraction was lol
Maybe Beuford's being said as the one who said that due to Mordechai being too broken
i cant believe this is real just wow!! felt like a kid again with no care in the world even if it was just for 2min thank you guys!! just perfectly done
